We said hello to the man at the cash register and asked him how things were going, to which he replied "TERRIBLE!" At that point, we noticed that they had put away most of the meat on display, even though it was only 5:45. We felt very uncomfortable and decided not to stay. We won't return. We understand wanting to get home on a Sunday night, but if your hours are until 6:00, why are you packed up before that time and treating your customers like an inconvenience? Change the hours to 5:30, close the doors and you can get home by 6:00!

Purchased 3 lbs of liver on Thursday for a Saturday luncheon for family. A family favorite - liver…read moreand onions! After preparing the sides, the liver was fried and we all sat down. First bite had everyone spitting it out in their napkins! It has a very peculiar and nasty taste so no one ate it. Returned to the store and was told that there would be no refund since it was bought on Thursday and not prepared til Saturday. Then she added that it was cut on Monday and should have been used sooner. She told me to take it with me since they didn't have a way to get rid of it. I told her it was HER problem and walked out. We believe to shop in our hometown and support small, independent businesses. This was a $15 lesson and a ruined family meal.
