If I could leave zero starsI would!! Heritage Pools in Powell, TN started opening our pool. They took the weights off of the liner, THEN put a hose on top of the liner to drain it. Jason, told me the liner had a hole in it. However, he showed me the hole, and also the water underneath the liner. In his words "oh good, it's not that bad! You can see the bottom of the pool." Jason also said none of the leaves that had been on top of the liner had gotten in the pool and he wanted to make sure they didn't. He & his partner then left and said they would be back in a bit. Well, a few hours after they left, the liner in the deep end fell in the pool causing all the leaves to fall in. They had NEVER come back to check on it. I called the store to tell them what had happened and said I didn't feel it was fair for me to have to pay extra for their mistake. Then Jason showed up Thursday, and left me a voicemail saying all the leaves were at the bottom of the pool and he needed to speak with his boss to decide what they were going to do. But said he would be back Friday morning (I still have the message). I called Jason back and left a voicemail saying " Look, please make sure your boss knows that if you had left the weights on when you tried to drain the cover the leaves would have never fallen in." Needless to say Jason never came back on Friday. I called Heritage today and spoke with Pam who told me Jason has never had any complaints and if he said he didn't do something then she believes him. Hello!! We have a huge pool and I have an injured shoulder! I didn't take off the cover myself, in fact I never even touched it! She said if she had known how much stuff was on the liner to begin with they would have never taken the job. I reminded her that she and I had discussed this. Also, if the job was going to be too big for her men, WHY start in the first place. She then told me I could find someone else if I wanted to. I said "no, I would like you all to finish what you started. As you have just caused more work for another company. I thought things had been settled. Well, I just got a call from Jerry who told me they would NOT be coming back to the house because they can't seem to please me and that basically Jason told them that the cover was completely torn and the pool was already a mess...and that whenever he tried to pull the cover off it just kept tearing it was in such bad shape...hello, we still have the cover! There are no tears where he pulled it off! The fact of the matter is they screwed up and now refuse to fix their mistake!! I should have realized from the beginning when they told me they had never serviced our pool before there was going to be a problem. Who do they think closed the pool last time? We will NEVER use this company again! Currently speaking with an attorney. Because of THEIR mistake we are now going to have to pay someone else probably about 5 times what we should be paying!! read more
