Get a lawyer if you plan on using this company. We did in order to get our tiles around the pool repaired. Poor communication with the whole process . Lack of customer service. We read the reviews and later realized, after the fact that her family members and their friends posted reviews. Be aware, be cautious. One good thing, her sons are hard workers. Unfortunately that does not make up for the lies, lack of detail and overall customer service. She will feed you a good line about the install and once you sign up, it's a whole different story. read more

Suzanne took the time to answer all of our questions and make sure we were completely satisfied. She even encouraged us to shop around (which we did) because she was confident that we would return. BUYER BEWARE!! TERRIBLE Customer Service. Suzanne DOES NOT return calls. DOESN'T CARE about customer care and follow-up. BE PREPARED to get a lawyer involved if you have any issues that need to be resolved. Had a pool for 3 months and was never able to use it before having to shut it down for the winter BY ANOTHER POOL COMPANY. Only got steps coming out of the pool, but not the other half to get in the pool!! The installers don't pay attention to what they are installing - I purchased a saltwater system (an extra $1,000) but was never told it was backordered and NOT INSTALLED. So, 10 bags of salt was dumped into the pool with no salt system in place to convert it!! The installer would respond that they were coming to fix issues, but always cancelled with some excuse. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!! read more

I so wanted to love this business! They carry Dimension One spas and that's what we wanted to purchase for our new home. We didn't buy fancy or big, maybe that was the problem. Once we paid for our spa, everything went to the crapper! Their customer service rep - Megan is the worst! She has an EXCUSE FOR EVERYTHING. She ordered the wrong valet for our spa, because it is the one she always orders, but it was not the correct fit for ours. She'll talk to Suzanne (Owner) and get back to me. Never happened, no call back, no resolution. So after weeks went by, I took the wrong valet back into the store. I wanted a credit, no I didn't want to apply the cost of it to the purchase of the correct valet that Megan supposedly ordered for me. Credit was issued to my credit card, but so was an additional purchase for the same amount. So she charged me twice for the wrong item SHE ordered. When I went into the store AGAIN to have this corrected, I was told she couldn't issue the credit, that their accountant would have to do that. I asked when that would happen and she told me the accountant would be in on Thursday and would get copies of my credit card statements showing the charges. I questioned further and was told the accountant would be in at 9 am on Thursday. I was told I could expect a phone call from the accountant around 9:30. I specifically asked when I could expect the phone call. DAYS later, I have still not received the phone call, nor do I see the credit, when I check the activity on my credit card. Oh, the "correct" valet, I still haven't received a call to say that ever came in! Do I think she actually ordered it - NOT! I believe Suzanne is very knowledgeable of spas, I'll give her that. But when it comes to Customer Service, the business FAILS! If you decide to use them for your spa needs, I wish you tons of luck! Don't take their word on anything! Get it in writing. read more

Poor experiences both opening and closing our pool. With the opening, it took them multiple visits over the course of a few weeks before we gave up on them. We researched everything and determined they weren't using anywhere near enough chemicals for our size pool. We did the calculations ourselves and with the correct amount of chemicals we had the pool opened in less than a week. With the closing, they did not fully blow out all the lines or even remove all the drain plugs from the pumps. Luckily we were having our pool deck repaired the week after the closing. The repair company noticed all the problems and addressed them for free. They were shocked how much S&W charged to close the pool. They said it would have been cheaper to hire a good company out of Knoxville and pay them for their time driving here and back. Because they are the biggest shop in town we will still buy our chemicals there, but we'll be finding another company to open and close our pool each year. read more

It's been a bit of a rough road with my pool installation and getting it right but Courtney and Byron blew me away with the level of service I received from them. Working long days, on their knees for 4 hours making sure the sand was perfect and that there were no wrinkles in my liner. Very happy with them!!!! read more

DO NOT BUY FROM S & W The owner is a LIAR and a THIEF. They sent an installer to put up our pool. I paid S&W for the pool and the installation. Our pool was installed so very unleveled and placed just barely on its concrete and it's blocks, which were undersized to start with. Once it filled with water it slipped off the blocks in 4 places causing the sides to lean out noticeably bad, the top rail went all out of whack at that point. Courtney, the installer sent by S & W ( I didn't go and find my own installer), came out and some how managed to get a 2 ft 4x4 piece of lumber from MY scrap pile jammed under the edge of the pool. She actually borrowed my carpenters pry bar to force it under there. They told me pools "sometimes just settle a little." Well mine slipped off the tiny little pavers Courtney TRIED to put it on as soon as it filled up with water. It wound up with a big bulge in the steel side, several dents, it pulled 5 inches away from the deck we had built and was leaning like it was about to fall any minute. Two of the concrete blocks were now completely under the pool, you could feel the liner stretched over them with your foot. It was leaning a bit more everyday, I got S&W's installer (Courtney) back out to my house to talk about this mess she created. SHE ADMITTED FAULT. She assured me it was safe to swim in and told me she'd come back once she rounded up all the parts she was gonna need to fix it. I asked her if she was licensed and bonded, she said "No, I don't need to be." I tried talking to the owner Suzanne but all I ever got was dodged and lied to when I did finally catch her in the store. I went and hired a lawyer, one letter informing her how seriously she could be sued if this pool failed. That day she gave me a full refund and came and got the pool. They pumped 20,000 gallons of pool water into the ditch. Pretty sure that isn't legal. She stole my steps that I purchased a few days after purchasing the pool. She claimed they came with the pool. She doesn't give you steps when you buy a pool. I paid Megan $150 on my doorstep for those steps. Again, NEVER buy a pool from S&W. It will be a very big mistake. read more

If you find yourself in this business, head to the nearest door and run! I worked in the retail business for 39 years and this was a first (very bad) experience for me. The women who owns the place could not have misrepresented her business more if she tried. She told my wife and I she charges more but she is worth it, she is local and here to give awesome service. NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH, on our purchase. The installers totally messed up when they put the expensive ground cover I bought on top of the sand instead of under, (the owner forgot to include it on the work order even though I asked her three times to list it on the purchase order. It started to sprinkle so the installers left stating they would be back to finish the next day in the afternoon, it took 2 calls from me to get them out and then they only collected payment in full because they had gotten in trouble not collecting it the day before. They never came back and finished, she will not take my call and has had her helper tell me she never sends them back, my problem is they need to fix their massive screw-up and finish the other almost 1/2 of the agreed work that is not completed. They didn't hook up my power or plumbing, or plumbed my sweeper pump through the pool wall, they messed it up bad walked off the job and refuse to complete the job she agreed to do, yet demanded payment in full.I would suggest you don't pay the 1/2 up front she asks for and hold a large amount of the balance owed until you are sure they have finished the job. I use my pool for rehabilitation of my leg muscles, it is the only walking I am allowed to do, the bottom is so rough because they didn't level it or use a vibrating power packer to pack the bottom (I was told it would be perfectly smooth and hard as a rock) the bottom as agreed and the holes are up to 6" deep I estimate, and the wrinkles in the bottom, of which their are dozens up too about 2" tall tripping me and keeping my pool sweeper from working. The liner will need to be replaces because they didn't stretch it out before adding water, it appears to be @ 8" in from the sidewall where it should be clear to the wall and tight wrinkle free, now they cut holes for the 2 water returns and the skimmer basket and if they stretch the bottom it will leave large holes when the sidewalls are pulled up to stretch the bottom. I would never recommend to a friend to do any kind of business with these people as they can it seems be trusted or relied on in any way. By the way I am a handicapped senior citizen with a low fixed income and she knowing this still took advantage of me, knowing my Dr. requires this for me and insurance doesn't cover it. I can believe we thought she was a good person to do business with, we were so so wrong about that! read more

May be the worst service I ever received for any type of home repair. They don't return calls and are very weak on keeping appointments. Once they came out on the one day of the week that they were told not to come on. They wanted payment for a new pump they installed but did not run. When I would not pay, they took the pump out; causing additional work and expense for a proper installation. This process requires me rate them at least one star but is more deserving of negative 2 stars. read more
