She really doesn't know how to talk to the people who live in her properties. To intimidate and dismiss tenents who need repairs in the homes she rents to them displays a serious lack of character. On more than 3 occassions that I know of myself, when presented with a problem in a home her first response is "why don't you just leave". Um....NOT ok Robin!! We did rent due to lack of options but I feel it needs to be known how unprofessional this establishment is; The receptionist is the most forgetful oblivious person I've managed to hold a conversation with. eg. I called for paperwork, said I will be there in 5 min which she said she will be ready and waiting and upon arrival she wasn't at her desk, and didn't know who I was or why I was there... that's only one small example. Maintenance. It was never done, unless we called and made a stink they wouldn't have replaced a window that was broken out due to the home that burned down next to us. And they asked questions repeatedly to see if they could charge us. House condition; We basically sanitized it before we moved in. Like not exaggerating scrubbed the ceiling with straight tsp before feeling okay with letting our belongings sit in it. Gross. Property manager. Rude. Rude. Rude. RUDE!! Someone who works with people should not be so damn rude. When asking questions she immediately cuts you off with an automatic no and acts like you're an idiot for asking. Constantly forgets or just ignores. Remember that fire? I had several conversations with the pm to get it replaced and explained the cause and circumstances repeatedly. We recently moved out and when she drove by (just drove, didn't stop) she noticed the house burned down next door....several months later.... when I was discussing move out info she interrupted me and asked when the fire happened and if it damaged the house and asked why we didn't tell them...... yeah.... The short is they don't give a crap about the tenants and assume they are all idiots when quite frankly they need a mirror. And yeah, we left early.

A.C. unit tile with dirt and bugs crawling from shaddy workmen ship. They don't care. Or make up story's they didn't speak to anyone with things that need to be fixed. Buyer/rent beware. Stay away or make sure things get done right the first time around. Write notes on who you spoke with at what date time and what was said and what period of time it would be done. Because their word on it is not in the cards.

After a while, I just stopped asking and hoped nothing went wrong, which isn't exactly comforting when real money is involved. Once Chambers took over, that changed pretty quickly. Now when I have a question, I ask it and I get a real answer. Not days later. Not after following up multiple times. Just a normal, timely response like you would expect. It sounds basic, but it made a huge difference. What really stood out to me was how approachable they are. I've asked about lease stuff, tenant situations, random landlord questions, even things I probably should already know. I never felt rushed, brushed off, or made to feel dumb for asking. There were also times I reached out about things that weren't urgent at all or weren't technically their issue yet. They still helped me think it through and gave honest input. That was unexpected and genuinely appreciated. At this point, I don't feel like I'm guessing anymore. If your ac quits working, it seems that's when the owner quits caring. Because it is not a law, he doesn't feel it's his obligation to remedy the situation. I feel he should have a moral obligation to his paying tenants to have everything in working order. He has several unoccupied apartments because of this reason. I had originally contacted them for a certain property I saw online and was interested in calling home. They contacted me swiftly and even told me about the other properties they available. I ultimately ended signing for a different one their houses than the one I had originally messaged them about and am so beyond thrilled! Venture Property Management's website/portal platform is also sooo easy and transparent, so it's really nice finally having a living situation where it's easy to see and pay bills. Granted, most of this is probably the owner's fault but I find it disappointing that the property manager had no knowledge of this and seemed blind sided when brought to their attention. However, my biggest concern is that WE HAVE NO HEAT (it's been about three weeks now). IT IS 31 DEGREES OUT THIS MORNING. They sent out a company that they've had issues with before over a week and a half ago. You would think that no heat would concern someone but it doesn't seem like it does at at. They gave us a space heater after we "complained" for the 5th time but it is completely useless. So, I guess we will put on two layers of clothes and four blankets while the property managers sleep soundly in their own warm homes. The only reason I am recommending this company is because most interactions with staff have been polite and they did take care of the other issues quickly. Other than that I am highly disappointed. Let me also remind you, that under the law no heat is considered an uninhabitable condition.

Unfortunately, I find myself in perfect agreement with the rest of the military reviews on here. I had submitted an application and payed the application fee. They processed my application, ran my credit, and approved me for the property. While I was away at SERE (good times) they gave the property to someone else despite multiple phone calls ahead of time coordinating with their office staff. Then the manager Norma said I was at fault and refused to refund my application fee. I explained that this is a small community and that is not a great way to treat Navy people. I was really hoping they would make it right and I politely requested they at least refund the fee, nothing. The manager said "they would not be doing that" and said she's not worried about their reputation. Do not make the same mistake I did!
