We've continued with their service for about a year now, and they've been consistently wonderful, not only in terms of the quality of the clean but also in terms of the interpersonal engagements with Jenn, the owner, as well as her entire team. Our schedule sometimes calls for some extra flexibility, which Jenn's team is always able to accommodate, and no matter which members of the team end up on our schedule we know we're in good hands. Recently, Jenn and her partner Jerry came along on our cleaning as they orientating a couple recent additions to the team. From my home office, I could hear Jerry giving guidance and tips and was impressed with the little addition insights and touches that Top 2 Bottom brings to the process. Towards the end of the cleaning, I took the dogs for a walk and carried them up to a bathroom to dry their feet since I wanted to maintain the perfect clean. While I was toweling off their feet, my eye was drawn to the shower in a way you'd only see in a movie or a meme; it was mostly behind me, but out of the corner of my eye the shine of the clean struck me. It was such a simple thing but WOW it really blew me away how bright and clean the grout was. When I headed to the nursery, I found a great surprise which I snapped a photo of and was about to send to my wife when I realized I should let her discover it for herself. I had a work engagement that evening, and was en route when I got the call from my wife. Our son's Mickey and Minnie Mouse had been staged to look like they were reading together in the nursery chair. It was the sort of "surprise and delight" touch that Disney World itself aspires to, and it really did surprise and delight my wife. We had a biweekly service, were happy with the team and the level of service provided, and thought we had developed a wonderful rapport with Joksan, Linette, and Alexa. We had continuously sung their praises to our neighbors and other friends in the area. The problem would seem to be that we booked a long-overdue trip to see family this summer for a few weeks in July. Our last scheduled cleaning before we left was to be June 30th. The morning of June 30th, we received a text stating the team would be unable to make it do to a family emergency. Obviously, this was not an issue with us, we said we hoped everything was OK, wished Alexa a happy birthday, and said that we'd see them in August. We even reached out a week later on July 7th to say we had been thinking of them, and that we hoped everything was OK. We did not receive a reply. A second message was sent on the 7th stating that we were leaving the following day, and wanted to confirm when they would be returning. We did not get a response until two days later. July 9th, we got a rather cryptic message thanking us for using them, saying "we love you and your family very much and appreciate our time getting to know you" and wishing us a good vacation. The cryptic bit was about being a growing business and expanding their client base and their "sudsbuds clean teams", and saying they needed to honor the clients on their wait list?  ... which was really strange to us, as all we were doing was taking a vacation. We replied a few days later on July 12th (we were out of the country visiting family, and didn't have the best cell coverage). We thanked them for their kind words, but sought clarification and confirmation about when services would resume. There was never a response. Eighteen days later, on July 30th (the day after we arrived home) we sent yet another message asking if they could confirm which day they would be resuming services, only to find out that they were not going to be returning! Our spot had "been filled by one of their clients that were on the waitlist", but they were "in the process of hiring for team two" and could "reach out to ... resume services at that time". We never asked to suspend services, never suggested we were not going to continue ... we took a vacation. Our communication that this was a vacation and the dates were unambiguous. We booked it in April and informed them when we next saw them (either last week of April or first week of May, providing more than two months notice). Nothing was said in the two months leading up to our departure that our time away would be an issue. The "not professional" flag comes from this sole interaction... It's a big deal, as far as we're concerned. It is challenging for my wife and I to find people with whom we are comfortable to allow into our home in this capacity, and yeah - this is admittedly a first world problem... But to ditch us, in such a fashion and with no notice, without even the courtesy of a phone call, is disappointing, to say the least. Particularly given what, we thought, was a mutual respect among the five of us. Dumping us as customers in this fashion was most unprofessional indeed. If our being away for three weeks was a concern, there was plenty of time for it to have been addressed; we would have been more than happy to work something out. We valued the service they provided, thought very highly of the entire team, and valued our relationships with them both professionally and personally. It is a shame, the manner in which they chose to handle this situation. We will not be responding when they "reach out" after they've hired a new team... or we may once again find ourselves unexpectedly, and without reason or warning, without a cleaning service. So if you hire them, rest assured they'll do a great job. Just don't take a vacation, or you may just find yourself needing to find a new provider when you get back! Hopefully, they view this as a learning experience. We will.

I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. They ruined what was supposed to be an…read moreexciting moving experience, as we purchased our first home, but turned it into a nightmare. We booked with them to clean on a Saturday afternoon and explained to Jason Alexander that we had booked a uhaul to move later that day so we would need a team of people, not just one person. He reassured us that for the $240 deep clean it would be 3 people and since our house was empty it shouldn't take long. Since we were moving from Philly to NJ I asked if I could leave the door unlocked since the house was empty and we were moving that day with a small child. He said no I needed to be there to do a walk through the house with the cleaning team. I arranged for a sitter for my son as noon is is nap time and headed to NJ to let the cleaners in. To my surprise they were a no show. I waited about 20 min then called Jason Alexander who sounded like he just woke up from a nap. I explained I had driven to NJ to let the cleaners in and he said something along the lines of oh, yeah my bad, they called out. I immediately started panicking as the house was dirty and we needed it cleaned as we were moving in that day, which he knew. He was very nonchalant about people not wanting to work and it's hard running a business when people don't want to work. Well that doesn't explain why he didn't call me so I could make arrangements with proper notice about people calling out. I shouldn't have to call him after our scheduled appointment that he already took a deposit for $160.00, to have him tell me then. Not to mention his tune completely changed from over eager and singing praises about his cleaning company when we booked, to "the best he can do is rebook us or give us $15 off. Which is ironic bc his website charges $50.00 if you are late for your appointment and you have to reschedule. I had to literally beg him over the phone to find someone to clean our house because all of our furniture was getting moved in later that day. He kept saying how times are hard, people don't want to work, it's hard to run a business, it was a joke. And our backs were against the wall as he had our deposit already and it was now way past our appointment time with no one to clean our house. He finally found ONE person. Who they did a great job, that is why he is getting one star. She did 5 star work however, we were moving in while she was there as it was one person not a team of cleaners like he promised. So wet floors were being walked on as furniture was being moved into the house. She was cleaning while we were moving stuff in because that's the only choice we had. I wish I never went with this company. Or that they had the common decency to make me aware of the fact his team called out. AVOiD AT ALL COSTS!!!

I ended up deciding to cancel that appointment and made another one. On my second request, I initially said "any time on a particular Friday." They gave me a range of 9-11 AM on a Sat and I asked if they could come in at 9 AM and they said yes. They ended up coming in right before 11 AM. So, I can understand that I needed to try to pick a time interval to be available rather than a time, okay. I gave them some stars for working with me and being professional for the in-person estimate itself. I was then told that I would receive an estimate over the phone in the same day some hours later. I requested by e-mail instead and was told that this was fine. During a time period of two weeks and two days after that, I had made three phone calls. I left voice mails twice and got through one time, the 2nd time I believe. I was told that the estimate was mixed up with something else and that it would be coming out. I'm not sure if they want to work with me or not, but at least it would be nice to let me know that instead of running me around. For potentially big jobs, my reasonable concern of not being able to receive an estimate by e-mail (or snail mail physical copy) makes me feel like there would be a he-said-she-said dynamic if I went for this. For smaller jobs, it isn't such a big loss and they seem like they do good work from the other reviews and my interaction with the attendant during the estimate. They may not be the most pronounced with their words, but I was willing to consider them with the other good reviews and them being local to me. With the lack of an estimate by e-mail, it made me wonder if the company or someone in the company has a PA license number. I would like to presume yes, but I couldn't find one personally based on company name. I know the search engine isn't the best if you don't have the actual license number to look up. If there are any updates/changes to this review or if it's proper for me to write another review as I can't update this one after about a month, then I will do so. I've strongly considered and tried to rate my experience as fairly as possible, and I really feel that Sunny's services could've done much better with their interactions in working with me after the estimate was completed.

O'Classic Humble Cleaners replied within the hour of my request. The owner was very personable, yet professional. They broke everything down simply and succinctly. The initial consulting fee was reasonable and the consult was very helpful in fully discussing the scope of work. Without it, I realized that my project questionnaire through Yelp added way more work than I wanted/needed and it would've costed me a ton more. They came in for a full 8 hours and did an AMAZING job throughout the house, even getting to the ledges on the high windows and chandelier at the front of my home. They requested I come in to inspect the final product as they were wrapping up and to ensure they got all the spots I expected. I made one very minor recommendation at that point and they addressed it immediately. The house has not looked this immaculate in years. The company came through for me in a pinch, so I am super grateful that they were able to accomplish this for me. I absolutely plan to use them again in my next home.
