After my set of lashes, I was hooked! I go every 2.5 weeks now bc I am absolutely obsessed. Michelle is the girl I go to and she is not only an amazing esthetician, she is amazing with lashes! My sis in law is a makeup artist and said my extensions were the best she has ever seen. I recently got microblading done by Michelle, and this was yet again another amazing skill to add to her resume! Just a little note about the spa itself. First of all it is spotless. It is clean and everything is always organized. Every person that I have had contact with, from the receptionist to the owner is so friendly. They totally get you hooked. I would never get any services anywhere else. A word of advice... book several Months ahead for your follow ups. They are so good that they are booking up fast. Kudos to all the girls at Body Beautiful. They are friendly and professional. Keep Up the good work ladies!

cannot recommend this place enough - would give 10 stars if I could. I used to have my lash lift…read moredone in NYC, which was conveniently near my job. After leaving the city for a job in CT, going all the way to NYC for a lash lift became more of hassle, but i continued to go as it was far more affordable than anything in Westchester. I drove past Manuela's studio one day and thought to give it a try, and I'm so glad I did. My first visit, I received a very warm welcome to a very clean and inviting space. Lina sat me right down in a comfortable recliner and took a look at my lashes. She noticed and informed me that my lashes were incredibly dehydrated - as a result of the product my previous lash tech had used - and let me know they would need some rehabilitating. Lina is so well-versed in her craft, she explained to me how certain products aren't good for everyone and that my lashes happened to be very sensitive to that. So she used a different product, and let me know it would take longer than what i'm used to but that i would notice a difference when my lashes were growing out, and i most definitely did. Previously, with my NYC lash tech, my lashes would grow in in all crazy directions, they were starting to get sparse (and i have naturally long and voluminous lashes thanks to nightly castor oil application). In the growing out phase after my visit to Manuela's, my lashes were noticeably more hydrated, and were not growing in all crazy directions, not to mention, the lash lift seemed to last significantly longer. Manuela and Lina are super affable, making the time go by quick. They are dedicated to making sure you are comfortable and well taken care of. The parking is a slight hassle as it is metered parking, but there is a free lot at the church across the street you can park in. If you're like me and didn't put enough time in the meter, they've gone out of their way to put money in the meter on my behalf. Like i said, cannot recommend this place enough for your lash and brow needs!

With a belly full of nerves, armed with some ideas in my head, I arrived at this beautiful little shop. I was graciously greeted by Lina. She listened to my wants and more importantly to what I didn't want. She explained what she was doing and offered comforting reassurance throughout the process. After it was done, I was absolutely in love with the brows. Lina nailed it!! My eyes pop and I definitely do not look tired. I opted for the Full Brow Design, I could not be happier with my choice. The collage attached shows my barely visible brows, the brow henna and the final result.

My sister and I went in for dip manicures on Christmas Eve. I called earlier in the morning to make…read moresure they were open and made an appointment for the both of us at 11am. We were seated immediately, although separately, which was not a problem. However, both of our manicures were extremely rushed. My sister was done within 30 minutes, which was because her nail tech did not remove the old dip mani and simply put the new one on top. I'll let her write a review to tell that story... My nail tech was Lina. From the beginning, we were not on the same page with what I wanted. I am from the area but live in a different state, and I get my nail done every month using dip applied with a brush. Lina didn't believe that I had dip on my nails, but I assured her it was dip and not gel. Then she said they don't offer dip applied with brush at Amy's (this wasn't true, because half an hour later, the woman next to me was getting dip allied with brush). We agreed to just do regular dip because I didn't want to spend any more time explaining the brush situation. Lina rushed through the manicure. She was done in 45 minutes. The shape is actually fine, which is surprising, but she made one of my fingers bleed due to roughly buffing the nail at the end, and she also over drilled my nails to remove the previous manicure. She blamed one of the over-drilling situations on my previous manicurist (not possible due to the placement of the issue - it would've been the very base of my nails, practically under my cuticle during the previous manicure) but fessed up to causing the second one. I've probably had 50+ manicures in my life so far and this has never, ever happened before. This is either my second or third time coming to Amy's, and each time, I have said "never again." But I really won't be back after this.

Caring, professional, gentle, quick and humorous. The pedicure room is separate from the manicure stations which lends to some privacy. Reasonably priced and exceptionally clean. Everything used was sealed in pouches. My wife, who also got a pedicure also got a back/neck massage for just the cost of a tip. Next time I will ask for the optional massage.

The owner was there as well and we discussed some options for "saving" my length and hair. I showed them many examples of what i wanted and we ordered the extension/weft hair. When i came back for the weft install, they could not seem to get my color to match the extension hair (but only in certain spots, see photos for patchy dye job). I had the wefts in less than a week (zero amount of purple shampoo could match these two colors together) when i called asking "what can be done to match my hair to these extensions i just paid a fortune for?!" No options were offered. As a matter of fact, they told me they shutdown for vacation for the next ten days. I said "can i come and have my real hair cut, i will remove the weft myself. It looks too ridiculous to walk around in", so again (after $1000 spent, ZERO options were offered). I cut the wefts out myself and came in for a haircut. I figured since i CAME to them with damaged hair i should give them another chance, incase this was the other salons poor color job or even my own miscommunication. Once again, my hair was bright yellow after showing them white/silver hair. My natural dark blonde hair has zero issue reaching a level 10 in a single process, so the fact that my already lightened hair could not achieve a level 10 color without yellow was their error. I was also there for over SIX hours for a 1/2 head of root touchup (something that took my new salon 90 minutes with a blow dry). You would think after having had been in their salon for many hours between a consult and weft installation that i MADE SURE they knew was incorrect, they would make more of an effort to get my color right this time. However, as soon as Noelle started drying my hair, again it was yellow. She consulted with Stephanie who decided to DOUBLE PROCESS my damaged hair due to their mistake. Their response? "This was the same formula i used last time!" Oh? You mean the last time it was wrong and i removed $1000 extensions on my own after 7 days bc you couldn't be bothered to retone my hair? Clients beware. This was nothing short of a money grab. The sad part is, between my horrible extension job, second chance at color and bringing my daughter, i spent over $1500 at this salon in TWO months. Save your time, money and energy and find a salon with experienced hair stylists -- this ISNT it. ETA (since i can't reply to comments) -- the only truth to the owners response is the dates. Congrats, i also have a calendar. My weft was NOT removed prior to me calling to express it did not match. It was removed once nothing was offered to back up your week-old botched dye job. The discontinued use of purple shampoo was also NEVER discussed, in fact, it was encouraged when i called to say the tones were completely mismatched. When i realized this was the only "solution" you would offer to back up your work, i learned how to take it out myself. Which i TOLD Noelle over the phone i would do if there was no fix. The fact that you are writing i took it out before calling is a flat out LIE. Backed up by the fact that Stephanie had a full tray of pliers, scissors and items to remove the weft when i came in for the haircut. A client that was leaving even asked me if i "was the extension client they were getting ready for". So which is it? I also would never have had any issues with the agreed upon pricing if the services i paid for were of quality, which they were not. OR, if i was given a realistic expectation such as "this will take a few times to fix", neither occurred. During my consultation, i was lead to believe i had a very achievable desired outcome. So, a money grab is actually the perfect description of what happened here. Regardless of the length of my ROOT re-touch, the TONE of my hair was completely wrong a SECOND time. If this was just about the root retouch (which took about 3 hours) i would have been fine. It was Noelle's ERROR that lead to me being double processed and there for an ADDITIONAL 3 hours (all of which you, the owner, were gone for a wedding). So to act as if you know what occurred when you weren't there is about as laughable as how much pride you take in your salons "work". I went from Sept 28-November 25 (the same amount of time between my 2 color appointments at your salon) and was able to achieve exactly what i wanted elsewhere. So let's call this what it IS, a skill issue. And what's interesting is the lecture in hair health from a salon that unnecessarily double processed my hair, instead of just using the correct toner. Hopefully this review serves as a warning for others and they do not waste their money on inexperienced stylists.
