This is latin themed market that while having a lot to offer has fallen down a bit. It's under severe long term construction. this means the parking is ....well, there isn't any. The while the taco truck outside is still open -and still makes decent tacos-it's service has decayed considerably. Under no circumstances should you pay by card either outside in the stand or inside the market. You will be overcharged and double billed, which may be a mistake or maybe incompetence but either way you won't like it. Honestly the things I liked most-the quirky charm, great tacos, grilled meats, and unexpectedly good food choices-have all faded away. that mixed in with poor service and overbilling makes this a significant downgrade. read more

I got wonderful burritos from two of them (although the pastor is not good, too salty, overly marinated, not barbecued at all) then got mini kid burritos from the last cook. Its marinated in a cheap REALLY SALTY brand of teriyaki/soy-sauce , totally ruined the pricy meat with over powering the taste salt!! If you want teriyaki skirt steak marinate it yourself!!! Other than that, this place is nicely stocked with a little bit of everything. The people are genuinely nice and helpful and through word of mouth I hear that the BBQ is decent. Walking by, I spotted the chicken roasting on the open grill. So I gave it a try along with their carnitas. The chicken had great flavor but was truly overcooked. Too bad. Would have been nice if not so dried out. The carnitas were also overcooked but surprisingly tasty. This little market is fantastic. They have a BBQ every weekend and cook up chicken and steak that is ever so tasty. Cool little butcher corner right as you walk in the store. A little crowded, but really great stuff. Beer, snacks, produce, fresh BBQ all from a tiny market. I eat this for lunch over Cole's any weekend. Would recommend. read more
