This is a very authentic place to order burritos. The flavors are amazing. We like to order chicharron, asada . It's not your typical burrito where they add a bunch of veggies or sour cream or cheese. This is a place where you taste the home made flavor or the rice , beans and salsa. The only reason that I'm giving them a 4 because they need to add more protein to their burritos. I feel that for that price they could add more protein but flavors they are top-notch. read more

6/25/2026---I am addicted to the Burritos and Taco's made of chicharron. They are so delicious !!. They are a perfect balance of meat and crunchy chicharron. I was told of this little- hole- in- the- wall takeout place by 2 co-workers about 4 years ago. During lunch time, I would have major competition in forming a line from the High schools kids, but you can order in advance as well. Everyone says how amazing their burritos are, that they are the best in Watsonville. I had to stop by and try them. Be warned parking absolutely sucks...because they are super busy, there is never any parking in the front. If you pull in they have parking in the back but to try and pull back out onto East Lake can be a nightmare. The burrito itself has a really good flavor, I can see why people love the Asada. I ate mine plain with beans, rice and asada. They have you social distance when in line, you don't go inside the store you order from the window. I have eaten burritos here twice so far and each time I've eaten food here it was delicious. I have only ever tried the burrito with meat, but it's sooo good. It is on the smaller side, so if you can eat a lot i would recommend getting two burritos. If you order burrito with everything, the sauce on the burrito is unlike other plaves that serve burritos, and it is delicious and distinct. The sauce has a kick to it. It is like hot cheetos where it burns, but for some reason you can't stop eating. This is my first choice for burritos, they close at 5pm though so you have to plan ahead if you want this for a late dinner. The prices are decent, and I don't know if they have horchata however if i find out they do, I will try it. read more

I bought almost sixty dollars worth of food. A super burrito a regular burrito six tacos and a pound of chicharron. My burrito the regular burrito was mostly rice beans and hardly any asada. It wasn't much bigger than a soft taco from taco bell. The super burrito was the size of a regular burrito and also with hardly any meat. Good thing even scandalous people can't mess up tacos. Those were for my coworkers because i'm not scandalous like some people. The chicharron the skin was like leather. It was hard to break it with my hands or teeth the meat was okay. I'm surprised I haven't made a review of my neighborhood Carniceria market after all these years. I used to live a few houses down and it was the closest and most affordable place to get a quick burrito or even tasty and affordable tacos. You know the food is really good because of course it is a carniceria and the meat comes right from the source, fresh, delivered and handled by people who know how to handle meat. This is a family-owned business that is run by the mother, father, sons and other members of the family. They take pride in what they do and the product they sell. They've always been nice to me, my wife and kids when we were first starting out a young family. Their prices always fit within our tight budget as I was the only person with a job at the time. I've always bought their pork ribslets and they're always tasty to cook either (especially in a pork adobo). The bones come out soft and flavorful- biting down on them just to extract the flavor was always a delight. Their steaks are well prepared and I remember a time when my daughters had their 2nd birthday- I bought a large package of leg quarters to bbq for our guests. Last time I visited earlier in the year, they had a BBQ pit staged outside their market. Not sure when BBQ is prepared, but I went on a weekend. Maybe it's only made on these days? I'm glad that this market can provide fresh food, a place to cash paychecks and other necessities to the hispanic community and they continue to do so until this day (almost 20 years already- time sure flies fast!). Although I don't live in the area anymore, my experiences from then until now haven't wavered. They still continue to provide the same service and cater to the people. (For those nostalgic people that would like to know the history of this place, it used to be called Cann's Television back in the late 70's and early 80's). They also had a baseball card (Taylor's Baseball Card Shop- had a tragic incident in the past) in the smaller store next door up front and a haircut salon, although the haircut has moved to the back of the building since then. read more

It's toasted oh so perfectly so you get a bit of rind and fat and meat, and the red sauce you dip it in is just amazing. Not the healthiest thing in the world but definitely one of the tastiest.
