We decided to completely strip the wood to reveal the natural wood grain, re-glued, and reupholstered both pieces. Jeff recommended a product, I bought it, and he installed it the day after it arrived. On the way out the door, I mentioned a rattling vent that has annoyed us for a year. Within minutes, he was on the ground, had removed the running board without damaging it, found the problem (a piece of tape had gotten hung inside the wall when the kitchen remodelers had placed the board in the first place), and used his nail gun to replace the board. This was all for 2 hours of work, getting rid of two of our family bug bears. I would definitely recommend him to others.
