I've hiked with Napa Land Trust a bunch of times & continue to hike with them when I can. My last…read morehike was Linda Falls on Sunday 1/9/11. It's a short moderate hike of about 3 miles roundtrip. To hike with them you need to plan ahead and make reservations. I booked my group of 4 about 3 weeks beforehand, but I've done it with only a few days notice. Meet the leader Chris, then we carpooled to a location she told us in Angwin. There wasn't much climbing, & only 2 rushing creeks that we had to cross - nobody fell in & I didn't even get my feet wet. That was nice. I was at the lower more dramatic falls to Linda Falls & was able to go down by following the pipe, then heading down. It was not too scary. The middle cascade up higher was nice, very top cascade wasn't much. Best to go to the bottom & look up. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/KjQcSZOtbG-Ev2PQaLb8TQ?select=59AxVR2wCFTnKP6ixCM0PA It's a 31 foot waterfall. Hike back was really short only about 10 minutes & we were done. Hike took 3hrs to finish from 10am-1pm. Next schedule Linda Falls hike with the Napa Land Trust is Sunday 2/13/11. Overall my experience has been great. I've had amazing service coordinators and supervisors over…read morethe years. They care about their clients and that is what I see in this agency. I was the member and officer of the board for 7 years and learned so much. More importantly I got to interact with the leadership often and I know they are good people doing important work. YES they have turnover, and YES they lose SC's and don't always notify clients! AND they are there during tough times (fires, earthquakes, COVID, PGE shutdowns) doing what they can for their clients. Although our road has been rocky with them at times, I appreciate this agency and all they do for my son and our family!

if I could give zero stars, I would. Research and go to any other center or place that can help…read moreyou. NBRC is the absolute worst. None of the employees that work there know how to assist or know what to do with anything. The managers that are over the employees are just as bad. It takes months to get a response or reply about anything, once you do get a response or a reply, the information is inaccurate. I've been trying to get reimbursements for my daughter's GPS for a few months now. I've done everything on my end, I've asked questions, I've filled out forms, and still nothing. After submitting everything, it takes them two months to come back and tell me they need hardcopies or PDF forms. I have an email chain that is 10 times longer than this review, a whole bunch of back-and-forth with no help or results. When you ask for a timeline of how long everything will take, they don't have it. They absolutely do not have any kind of information that is helpful for you or your child. Jordan Brydstrong is the worst and absolutely no help. If you can get any other counselor, please do! If they assign you to Jordan, it's best that you request somebody else. Honestly, it's best that you don't even use NBRC. My daughter and I dealt with altar regional center in Sacramento and it was the complete opposite of this. They were very helpful, they knew the answers to questions about what they can and can't do, they were very responsive, very professional. NBRC is absolutely the most unprofessional organization I've ever dealt with.
