Can I give 10 stars?? I stumbled onto this place by chance, while looking for a cute coffee shop to work at on a random Sunday. What I didn't know was that this place also offered wine and cheese (amongst coffee, and many other things). They designed the outside wall to have a garage door, and it's opened, which allows some good summer heat and breeze to come through. I love their welcoming, comfortable couches, which allows me to slouch down and work. They play good upbeat music. At one point, they played an instrumental version of 2pac's Hit Em Up, and I was able to start rapping, but it's Napa, so I'll keep it classy. I came for coffee but ended up getting a bottle of Sylvaner, salami, soft cheese and crackers. I really do owe it to Mike for the amazing experience. He not only reviewed some great wines with us but also gave us a few tastings, in which we decided on a bottle of Sylvaner from Santa Maria Valley (I've never heard of Sylvaner, have you?) . He topped off the experience by reconstructing our packages of cheese and salami but putting it into a mini charcuterie bowl. Who does that? Mike, you're amazing! The Mrs and I were wandering around downtown Napa doing a little shopping after an exhausting day of flying (on the early bird special) from Houston to Oakland. We needed a caffeine boost to push us into our afternoon and evening plans. There are several restaurants and bakeries that sell coffee. We're willing to drink almost anything besides Starbucks and prefer to support local anyway. We randomly stopped a couple people and asked them about the coffee they were consuming. A few people were brutally honest about the coffee they were drinking and where they got it. None of them were overly excited about their purchase. Thankfully, we stopped a couple of dudes who were more than happy to refer us down to Deuces Market. The Mrs and I both ordered an iced latte with a shot of vanilla. The coffee that they brew is Equator Coffee. It was absolutely delicious. We really liked the overall flavor. They also sell bags of it for home consumption. It was definitely the best coffee we've had in Napa so far. We'll definitely buy some to take home. Deuces' owner, Mike, told us they had only been open a couple of months (as of 8/2023) but that some changes to the area were coming. Currently, Deuces is just off the beaten path, but a pergola will soon be added outdoors with more seating. This should increase foot traffic. If you're walking around downtown Napa, it's located in the shopping area directly behind Lululemon. Bottom line - If you're looking for a really good cup of brew in Downtown Napa, give Deuces a shot. I trust you'll be as pleased as we were. We will definitely come back. Good job. Definitely worth finding parking for which at times can be a pain in downtown Napa. Deuces Market is by far the best place to get a coffee beverage in downtown Napa. One of my favorite coffee shops in town! I LOVE that they carry so many healthy snack options like chia peanut butter puddings, homemade protein balls and fairly clean ingredient protein bars. They also carry a fun + healthy + non-sugary version of Gatorade (forgot what the name of this healthy brand alternative was). Cool market downtown! I strolled in last week and I immediately loved that they had outdoor seating available with umbrellas. It's a pretty big space inside with more seating a large coffee bar. I really liked that they had Equator Coffee, finally somewhere on this side of downtown with good coffee! Our latte's were made to perfection. They had grab and go lunches and snacks in their fridge that are easy, healthy options for lunch. I work close by so I really appreciated that. The owner also has Dutch Door and knowing how they care about sourcing and serving local ingredients is impressive and doesn't go unnoticed. After consuming some Happy Hour food in downtown Napa I walking back to my car and found this delightful Coffee/Beer/Wine/Snack place called Deuces. The place has a totally chill vibe and the service was friendly and informative. If I remember correctly the gentleman working said it was same owners as Dutch Door (tasty restaurant) a block or two away. I went with the Cold Brew & Brownie and both hit the spot. The countless weeks, months, the years I have been trying coffee. Almost all have not been worthy, but finally my coffee journey had brought me to Deuces Market. What can I say... I am currently sitting in my car staring at an empty Iced Mocha cup weeping. I continue to slurp my entire cup hoping God will magically fill it back up. I'm at a loss for words... I have tried hundreds of different coffees, searching for the one that could possibly satisfy the thirst I have deep inside. Until today, all have failed, many have had the potential but no matter what tweaks I made to my order, they all couldn't meet my highest standard. May 11th 2024, I shall remember this day, as I have FINALLY found the drink I have been searching for my entire life. My order: Iced Mocha with Oat Milk That is it! Absolutely perfect in every way. I wish I could find more adjectives to describe how absolutely wonderful this coffee was but the only thought I continue to have is whether or not I can make it back to Deuces Market before they close to get another Iced Mocha. Not only did we have delicious coffee and the best olive bread and butter, we enjoyed a chat with Owner Mike, who gave us some amazing dinner and winery recommendations.
