It's the kind of thing you start craving at random times of day. The frozen yogurt itself was decent, and my family really liked their treats. Unfortunately, the actual experience left a very sour taste in my mouth. I was highly insulted to find out that Yo'Belle charges customers more if they choose to pay with a credit card. Their signs claim a +4% difference, which is incredibly steep. As someone who runs my own small, family-owned business, I find this practice outdated and frustrating in this day and age. In my own business, I prefer credit cards. The actual merchant fees are usually around 2.5%, and paying that small fee is well worth avoiding the extra time, effort, and risk it takes for employees to count cash, balance a drawer, and handle bank deposits (not to mention bank cash fees). Penalizing customers for using modern payment methods feels like a lazy way to pass on the cost of doing business. It's annoying and insulting. My family and I will not be returning to Yo'Belle unless this policy is changed.
