I took two pair of trousers to HA&C. One pair is thick denim. The other is a nice quality material. They are my first sets of suspender trousers. One set just needed hemming. The other needed to be taken in and hemmed. Both were sized to perfection. I am very happy with the courtesy, friendly service, excellent alterations, and price. The best hands down. I'm a procrastinator in every sense of the word. So if there's a uniform inspection in a month? I'm up late the night before preparing for it. About a month ago I found out I had a wall locker inspection (all of my uniforms have to be perfect. Updated rank, cleaned, pressed etc.) so of course, the day before the inspection I still need to get some uniforms updated and pressed. I get off work and run home to change, and end up at Hero's around 5pm. I ask the lady if there was any way they could do my 2 shirts before they close at 7. She didn't even bat an eye and told me to come back in an hour and a half. Sure enough I show up about an hour and 20 minutes later and my shirts were done. I didn't ask for them to press them and they did it anyways for me, and when I told them I had to transport all my stuff in my car they gave me an extra clothing bag for free. Hero's always goes above and beyond expectations. They have GREAT pricing and the fastest turn around I've ever seen. Everyone there is so nice and willing to help. I was told today they can even deliver to you if you need it. They also have a lot of uniform items for sale in a large variety of sizes if you are deficient on them, and of course at great prices. Overall, I highly highly recommend Heros for anything you need. They will not disappoint, I can guarantee it. I'm giving them 5 stars because I can't give them 10. Best place for marines to go to. Had a random out of the blue inspection last minute. Haven't worn my uniforms in like 8 months in the infantry, I picked up rank so I had to get rank swapped on my shirt last minute. They had my chucks ironed and rank put on the shirt in less than 20 minutes. Very polite and only 20$ for being that last minute. Highly recommend read more

You are clearly a disgruntled former employee, and therefore should not be posting a review of this decent, hard working business. Lyn and Mau are decent, hard working folks, BOTH of them, and they both run a top notch small business, that focuses on the needs of their customers. My Wife has been working there for almost a year, and I cannot say enough about Lyn and her kindness and decency. Yes, they hand press uniforms to save their customers money, but are they supposed to do that for free? What saddens me is that you would denigrate this great little business by writing lies about Lyn. Lyn has become like a second Mom to my Wife, and she and Mau are BOTH hard working and respectful. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. Perhaps through a little self reflection, you will have a change of heart about Lyn.
