NOTE: This review is for their holiday lights installation. We love having lights up on the house for the holiday season and it's an important tradition for our family. I've usually gotten up on the roof and hung the lights each Thanksgiving weekend in our previous homes. But after moving to our house here in Omaha with lots of high places (and getting older!!), I really didn't want to keep crawling around up there. So, after browsing the net for companies that hung lights, we recently called Heroes to inquire about doing some custom holiday lighting to our house. Mike, the owner, came out one evening and developed a quote to get the lights custom cut to our house, hung, removed, and stored for next year. We were able to choose the colors we wanted and they came out soon after we agreed to the quote to get them hung. I gotta say that they look GREAT! We are so pleased with them and they really bring some holiday spirit to our home. As for price, it wasn't cheap but compared to some other quotes we got, it was quite fair. They have options to do some other customized things, like wreaths, lights on trees, etc., that you can always add each year. And once you get the lights cut to your house the first year, the subsequent years are cheaper since they are just hanging and taking down after that. Plus, if you have any problems with the lights, you just call and they will come right out. The customer service so far has been top notch. They also do tons of lawn maintenance, which I may use come the spring and summer. But, for the holiday lights, we have been more than pleased with the service and quality. read more

Our dogs wrecked havoc on our yard and left nothing but a mud pit. Heroes installed artificial turf for us and did a great job. They were very professional and efficient. We got estimates from several turf installers in Omaha. Taylor worked with us to find the most affordable option and was most accommodating to our needs. Heroes took over mowing and fertilization from my prior company that closed his business and turned over to Heroes. They called to ask if any special requirements and were told they had to close the fence gate as the dog could get out. Mowing week 1-had to go tell the guy mowing to close the gate. Week 2 - had to chew the guy out again as the gate was left open also called the company and told them. The person said it was noted on both mowing and fertilization accounts so they would see it note. Week 3 and 4 it was closed. Week 5 a different person mowing and gate open and as I went out the front to check our dog was trotting around to the front. I let it go 12 weeks total and only one other time was it closed. I called and cancelled both and the person said OK, didn't even care to ask why or if there were any issues. If you have pets that can go outside on their own I'd go elsewhere. Also the fertilization was horrible and our yard has never looked worse. I've taken mowing back over and just hired a new company for fertilization. read more

We used Taylor for two summers to spray our lawn for Mosquitos. The first summer was great. The second summer dates between sprays got further and further to the point that it felt as if our yard wasn't getting sprayed. I emailed Taylor regarding a date because I was home but never saw or heard anyone. It's a very distinct sound during the process and a specific smell lingers after the process. He began ignoring my messages. The next visit someone came out but only sprayed the front lawn. I called Taylor got no response. My husband was able to get ahold of him so Taylor sent back his employee to finish the job. His employee knocked on my door proceeded to yell at me (while I was holding my infant) about how he had sprayed the entire lawn and had an aggressive demeanor. I would give this service zero stars if at all possible. read more
