I found the great products w promo prices. Sometimes promo 6 champagne for the great prices cheaper than the Costco. The meats are great too. My hubby find the deal for beefs and porks. I told him to buy the meats at Costco but he said, I had a great promo deal cheaper, better meats than the Costco. He doesn't think we paid for $130 membership fee a year. The majority of the inventory consisted of common national brands that can be found at almost any grocery chain, rather than the unique, rotating selection that Grocery Outlet is known for. I was also surprised by the limited selection of organic, gluten-free, specialty, and health-focused products. In my experience, Grocery Outlet usually offers a wide variety of these items at great prices, which is a big part of why I shop there. This location seemed heavily stocked with mainstream products instead. The reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is that I did find a couple of discounted items that I regularly purchase, so there was still some value in the trip. There isn't a food court here, but the ready-prepared foods and carniceria (meats) counter has a lot to offer. I sometimes get the warm tamales, hot chicken, or some of the marinated meats. The freshly baked goods offer plenty of choices. I'll also grab an ice-cold agua fresca when I swing by the ready-made food area to enjoy on the way home. The staff has been kind for the most part, and it does get pretty busy on the weekend and especially during seasonal times. I usually go early during the week to spend less time in the lines or waiting for my number to be called at the carniceria counter.
