Whenever we are in Niagara Falls Canada this is a must go to store. We always seem to see different candy and items when we come here. Today was a cooler day so we opted not to get a shake. Besides candy, they have sweet treats and shakes/ice cream. This is a great place to go in the summer to beat the heat. And you can take a picture with the hershey kiss guy. This would be a place worth checking out if you're craving for some chocolates or if you have kids - they would certainly love it. However, on a side note be prepared as a lot of stuff are over priced. It's a pretty big store, the decor and design is very nice. I came here with my little ones during our stay at Niagara Falls. They offered a sample of their chocolate. In the store you can find various flavors of Hershey's kisses and chocolate bars as well as merchandise. At the back near the walls are dispenser machines where you can pick and choose your flavors for Hershey kisses. I picked up a very small bag for about $5.80. In my opinion it was quite pricey. Reese's Chocolate Lava Big Cup: For those of you who are unfamiliar with what a Reese's Big Cup is, it is simply a thicker/larger version of the traditional Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. That's a little misleading though as the ratio of chocolate to peanut butter is not the same. That previously mentioned increased thickness really only applies to the amount of peanut butter filling and not so much the chocolate. This results in a peanut butter heavy cup, with a hint of milk chocolate. In other words, it's pretty f#$*ing awesome. What's even more awesome is that this variety (introduced in the summer of 2024) includes a layer (albeit thin) of liquid chocolate beneath the peanut butter. At least conceptually it was awesome, in reality it is too inconspicuous. There's nothing wrong with the chocolate's flavor as I tasted some oozing from the cup independently of the peanut butter. The thick and heavenly peanut butter filling is just too powerful for the feeble slit of chocolate to make my taste buds erupt with joy. Overall, it tastes almost identical to a plain Big Cup. This creates a conundrum of how to rate it. The normal Big Cup is Doughboy approved and if they taste and cost the same, then logic says this version is Doughboy approved. Great store everything you could ever want when it comes to candy. They had all kinds of Hershey candies and memorabilia. Walking distance from Clifton Hill area. Get your picture taken with the little Hershey she is super cute. They also have all kinds of homemade desserts cupcakes. Enter through a 4-story high HERSHEY'S Bar [Niagara Falls, ON Canada] We did not purchase anything at the store. We have plenty of these chocolates in the U.S. and a chocolate world just like it at the southern end of the Las Vegas Strip in the New York-New York Hotel & Casino Resort. We came here because our hotel gave us a coupon for a special complimentary photo at the lovable HERSHEY'S KISSES Brand character taken in front of a replica of the world famous Niagara Falls as a background. I looked for a sales associate to show us where to find this area in the store. He showed us the section and he himself took the photo from an iPad, showed us the photo to see if we like it and sent it to my email. The photo loaded quickly. If you've been to the Las Vegas Strip this is very similar to the set up and chocolates offered. The store is designed in a 'contemporary retro' style with vintage photos and nostalgic collectibles alongside video screens and larger than life characters. This place is inside the hotel and it is really nice. I mean they have their own little apartment where you can get all of the Hershey sweets you ever desire. I had the Hershey's cakes and it was good. I can't think of the exact name of but they delicious. As for the Hershey case and then they got a Hershey shake. Oh my goodness that thing is awesome and I ain't even supposed to have all these sweets but it was so worth it. Just one night though. Don't do it every night. It's going to be strictly counter service like going up to any fast food place and ordering you something like that dairy Queen or something and then they give you your order. I really enjoyed it. Each type of chocolate has their own section filled with different products you can't find in regular grocery stores. Plus, they also have special cakes, chocolate dipped fruit and fresh hot s'mores! Hershey is just a huge memory from my childhood and invokes nostalgia. I remember going to Hershey, PA and to the park. Just entering the town of Hershey, the streetlights had Hershey Kisses for the lamps, the street signs were like a Hershey kiss tag, just whimsy everywhere. Our hotel was right down the block from this store and when I saw the giant Hershey bar I was so excited! I got my selfies in with the Hershey kiss out front and the gigantic Hershey bar, but when I got close I realized how much help that poor bar needs! It's in disrepair. I went inside the shop and it was a kids chocolate land inside. A wall filled to the ceiling with candy dispensers. Plenty of clothing with various products- I loved the heart Twizzler shirt! I like very few "candies" but Twizzlers make that list (only the strawberry though). The Reeses Pieces clothing was so fun, that one of John's favorite travel snacks. And the smores line! They also have an ice cream bar and plenty of candies and other merchandise throughout the store. I honestly didn't buy anything- my grown up tastes have changed a bit over the decades. Obviously the store name says it all. Hershey's is everything made by Hershey. From bars of chocolate to giant kisses to Reese's pieces and much much more everything candy as far as the eye can see. I found it an interesting store to look in and around. But the prices were high and the place was mobbed. I really did not need Hershey clothing or overpriced candy. Chocolate was good and not the powder over sugary mix. Drink had a sprinkle of candy cane pieces which was nice. Price was a little expensive though. The gift shop was nice and great with many brands under one roof of gift ideas. Was nice to walk around. Bought a package of key lime flavored Twizzler's licorice. My rating is 3.5 stars. I'm rounding up. Roughly half a year ago, I realized that I have not visited the Hershey's store in Niagara Falls. I have visited those in Hershey, PA (it's the mecca in my view), Las Vegas, and Shanghai. I felt the need to visit the one in my backyard, figuratively speaking. Recently, I did a staycation in southwestern Ontario. I haven't been to Niagara Falls in roughly a decade and decided to break my streak. Finding Hershey's World wasn't difficult. It's the parking part. I parked in the Crowne Plaza lot and walked over. I enjoy being in a Hershey's World store. I love seeing the plush toys, bakery, and souvenirs. I loved looking at the nail polishes and mug that lights up. A tourist asked me how to make the mug light up and I showed him. It's interesting that folks tend to ask me such questions and they don't realize that I am also a tourist! Well, at least I had an answer. Maybe I have the look of someone who loves all things chocolate that I should have the answer to chocolate-related merchandise. The downside to this particular Hershey's World store is that the prices are high, particularly with the Cookie+ line of yumminess. A single package was going for $6. What?! When I first saw them in Charlotte, NC at a Walgreens, I got two of them for $5 USD. Why is one bag going for $6 CAD? I'd rather get them at a grocery store. Such a ripoff. I ended up getting a three-pack of flavoured lip balms. All three are shaped as Hershey Kisses. They were $23 for three. The confusing part was trying to figure out where to go to pay for my set of lip balms. I thought that I was in the correct line. A female employee said that I needed to go to the bakery and pay for my lip balms. Um, how about better signs that indicate that you pay over there? To me, it signals paying for baked goods there. The baked goods remind me of my experience at the Las Vegas store. There were tons of varieties. It was so hot that day that I wasn't feeling like eating. So, I passed on all the yumminess. Perhaps when I'm there in the winter, I'd haul boxes of sugary items and not be able to get through a doorway. I'm glad that I visited. I can scratch visiting this store off my bucket list. I'd come back here again when I am feeling like a tourist and want my fix for all things Hershey's. I simply don't recommend buying chocolate that you can buy at a cheaper price closer to home. This was a fun quick stop after walking around Niagara Falls. We didn't buy any of the products, just no real interest or need to buy Hershey's candy, shirts, or really junk. It is still fun to look at though. The treasure is if you have a sweet goods tooth like me and checking out all the baked goodies they have. Hard to decide, but because of the pricing, it really does limit yourself in buying much. It would have been nice if they had smaller cookies to buy in multiple flavors rather than just buying one large one, which is what we did. We got the chocolate reeses, which is a great choice if you like chocolate and peanut butter. Would recommend a stop if you are in the area, but certainly don't go out of the way for it. read more

When you're in a major tourist area you can't help but get sucked into a place like this. I'm not a sweets guy (I'm more of a salts guy), but I ended up walking around the Hershey's Chocolate World for longer than I probably should. Fortunately, because I don't really like big crowds, it wasn't that busy inside. I was able to see all the things they had (that I didn't need) for sale. They sell these huge cookies which I got suckered into because I have no willpower and when I'm on vacation I just don't care. I got my cookie for around $3 which for a place like this I thought it was a steal. Like I said, they sell everything: snacks, shirts, mugs, toys, and anything else you can think of. I wouldn't say this is a must visit in the Niagara region, but it's certainly fun. It's the only Hershey's store in the country and you will find some things that you'll never see elsewhere. There's a bunch of chocolate items in giant sizes, like a 5lb chocolar bar for 50$, apparel, toys, scented candles that all smelled a little too fake, some smores, brownies and cookies you can eat on site as well as a Coke bar next door for milkshakes and beverages but that was closed when went on a Friday in February. I was also disappointed that they didn't have enough chocolate variety, there's lot of classic Hershey's milk chocolate products but no cookies and cream bar in sight. The manager told us they're working on installing touch screen stations where you can customize your own candy wrapper, which is a cool idea for personalized gifts. It's a tourist attraction so prices aren't cheap, but if you're looking for a sweet souvenir, this fits the bill. Note- Look out for a flyer with a free sample coupon at many hotels and surrounding info kiosks where there are pamphlets for attractions and maps. Located on the far end of the touristic area of Niagara Falls you can easily miss this Hershey Chocolate World location. The 2-story high chocolate bar on the side of the building is fun to look at along with the jumbo sized Hershey kiss tipping over the roof of the building. Take advantage of the picture opportunities to be side-by-side of human sized Hershey kisses as they're pretty cute... but that's where positive experience stops.... at least for me. Once you enter the store, your eyes and nose get overwhelmed with the chocolaty goodness. You get to smell what they're cooking along with all kinds of awesome and innovated chocolate creations you can either order and eat right away or as a pretty cool gift idea. Thankfully I just ate and my willpower resisted. My major issue is the pricing, it's quite ridiculous. There's no way I'll be paying $30 for a huge chocolate bar when I can find the same one online or in local stores near my home for less than half of that price. In Niagara Falls, a tourist would definitely get sucked into visiting this capitalist branding store full of chocolate and Coca Cola (connected) products. It really is a wonderland of items that you'd love if you liked Hershey's THIS much. A lot of the items are things you wouldn't be able to get anywhere else. 6 years ago I purchased a Reese sweater and I remembered they had a cookie and creme one, so I was excited to purchase one on this trip. I came back and was super disappointed that they only had the UGLIEST sweaters and everything was jacked up in prices. $30 for a gildan brand t shirt is absolutely outrageous, man. For those who don't know, Gildan is the biggest and CHEAPEST company for making custom clothing, therefore being the worst quality and within 5 washes it becomes the texture of a washcloth. Looked into the Coca Cola area and found a really cool sweater. Looked at the price. $90. Looked at the brand. Gildan. Bro??? All of us came out with nothing in hand as the prices were out of whack.
