    The rudest and most unhelpful employees I've ever experienced. Probably annoyed they had to get off their phones to "assist".

    DO NOT RENT HERE. Extremely unhelpful and rude. They must have been annoyed that they had to get off their phones to "assist". We reserved a car over a week and a half ago and once we got here, they claimed there were no cars available, leaving me and my 9 family members (including a 2 month old baby) stranded with little to no options. After asking how this could be made right and how we could be accommodated, and a long call with customer service, they said the only thing was to drive a half hour away by taxi to the airport and come back and settle things, we would have been home by the time this was all settled. They all snickered and laughed at my family while we scrambled to figure out a way home.

    Pricing without the extra insurance that they don't disclose to you if you drive within USA.

    We went through Orbitz when we passed by a great deal on a car rental for 10 days. It was $324.92 which is with a collision damage plan. Sounds good right? While I was waiting on hold I went through some of their reviews online which were really eye opening. The shocker was that these cars are registered in Mexico so your US insurance wouldn't qualify . This means you would need to purchase extra insurance each day to drive within the United States. This location is at the airport right before the border so we thought naturally the car would be registered in the US because the location is still in USA. When I asked them about the pricing they didn't want to give it over the phone. They wanted me to be in the dark about the pricing until I had no choice but to purchase it. I'm glad I arranged a back up or this trip would have been ruined for sure!

She wanted me to go back home to get all this documentation. She keep showing me this package in Spanish. A man appear manger Martinez and yells this car rental will not be Unlimited miles. I looked up on my iphone showed him his own company policy + the Expedia site unlimited miles . He said that is a do different company Mexico vs USA " so it's easier for a Mexican national to rent a car here in the USA then a USA citizen? I asked I mention to him in March I rented a car in Culiacan airport the sale agent did not even want to see my id my info and photo was in the system. I told him I rented cars in Tulum México Los cabos México and Cancún México with that company. You are upset I'm not buying your insurance cus that is your commission $$ that is why you would let me rent this vW Jetta I'm not renting a Ferrari He Snapped in anger ! Manger Martinez said " we are having A lot of problems with Locals cus you are steeling our cars with your Debit bank cards"! I'm here to rent a car not to steel a car ! I showed him my Costco visa that was on new policy only for USA citizen American Express Hilton told him the limit to each ! And also gave him my Platinum American Express card !     NEVER RENT A CAR FROM THIS LOCATION OR AVIS in general…read more Reserved and rented a car from this location because it was the closest to me open at 6am. Arrived to pick up my car on time and the girl at the front was great. She was polite, just doing her job. The first red flag was when the car I rented was given to me on E! Yes that's correct an empty tank. I was told to just get gas and to just return it on empty. Problem was that there closest gas station is like more than 3 miles away. I was way below E praying while driving to the gas station. Once we were about an hour into our trip. I noticed my husband was smacking his arm, I looked over and saw a few ants. Thought ok no biggie just a few ants. Next thing you know we are well into our trip with limited cell service and realize that this car is in fact INFESTED with ants. Coming out of the carpets, vents, panels, EVERYWHERE!! We finally get to a place and contact AVIS customer service. After 30 min of getting no where on the phone their solution was for us to take time out of our trip and find a car wash under $25 and wash the car ourselves. They would reimburse us $25 A car that should have been given to us clean and not infested with bugs. Called them back as the problem was getting worse as the day went on. Their next solution take a detour and take it to the nearest Avis and have then give us another car but we would still need to pay for this one. Once we took a detour and got to the nearest Avis they were closed for the day. Called back and they told us to keep trying or keep washing the car. We basically had no choice but to keep the car and drive it back. AVIS corporate was absolutely no help. Once I arrived back at the original location to drop the car off and let the young man at the front desk know what was going on. He went outside to check the car and confirmed the ant infestation. He apologized and gave me the franchise owners card. I then contacted Alejandro who apologized and told me to give him 24 hours and send him the info through WhatsApp. I dld and he completely ghosted me. The messages were all read and ignored. It wasn't until I messaged him and let Alejandro and corporate know that our attorney would be contacting them that he answered an email 4 days later telling me corporate handles these situations not him.

The line to get the car was almost 2 hours and when I finally got to the front they gave me an electric car with 1/8 of charge. This Subaru car suck it was dirty and I had to recharge it like every hour. Then to speak to the "manager" they gave me the counter desk email.

    Inadequate Solution by Ben…read more Unfortunately, we were "helped" or more accurately, spoken to by Ben, and customer service was nowhere in sight. We came in with a positive attitude, excited to finally pick up the car we had reserved over a month ago. To our surprise, the vehicle was not even on the lot. Instead of offering a real solution, Ben repeatedly suggested downgrade after downgrade. Naturally, we asked him, as the customer service representative, to help us locate the vehicle we originally reserved. Ben called both the Solana and Broadway locations. He told us Solana did not answer, while Broadway supposedly confirmed they had two of the vehicles we originally booked. As we waited for updates, Ben continued taking phone call after phone call, visibly becoming flustered and irritated. When we politely asked for an update, he looked at us in disbelief almost annoyed that we expected an actual resolution after waiting there. He then claimed he had already explained the situation, though at no point did he clearly confirm that a vehicle was secured for us. We simply asked for some kind of written confirmation or transfer note showing that Broadway was expecting us. Ben responded abruptly and dismissively, saying, "No, we cannot do that," in a rude and impatient tone. The entire interaction ended in disappointment and frustration. When we arrived at the Broadway location, we were informed that they had never received a call from Ben. They also explained that customers are not supposed to be sent to another location without confirmation or communication beforehand. Thankfully, although Broadway did not initially have the exact vehicle available, their staff treated us professionally, made actual calls, and ultimately found the car we had originally reserved. The difference in customer service between Broadway with Adrian Guzman (early 20's) and Ben( late 30's) at Auto Park was night and day. I'd like to apologize to Ben for us expecting customer service from a customer service representative. Newsflash: helping customers solve problems is part of the job. It honestly felt like Ben became overwhelmed by a few phone calls and could not properly handle customers standing in front of him. Instead of showing professionalism or empathy, he came across as irritated, dismissive, and unwilling to help resolve a situation that your company created.

The customer service I received on the evening of March 22 from a representative named Diego (wearing glasses) at Budget was absolutely unacceptable. From the moment we arrived, after rushing to make it in time for our reservation, we were treated with suspicion and condescension rather than support. Despite having confirmation emails, codes, and even providing our card details over the phone through Budget's actual system, Diego made us feel as though we had been scammed or somehow made up the reservation. He was dismissive, rude, and rolled his eyes when I asked for help. I remained professional the entire time and simply asked him to check if there were other locations with availability or to provide his manager's contact. Instead of helping, he handed me a piece of paper with contact info for Avis, not Budget, and was completely unwilling to assist further. His attitude was not only unhelpful--it was incredibly disrespectful. To make matters worse, we were left without transportation late at night despite following all the proper steps to reserve a vehicle through Budget. When I asked about his manager, he stated his name was Alejandro, but based on how the rest of the interaction went, I now question the accuracy of even that information. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I hope Budget takes this seriously and provides proper training or accountability for representatives like Diego. No paying customer should be treated this way--especially not when stranded and relying on a confirmed reservation.

They are worthless in terms of helping me - even though the agent who screwed up was working. Avoid these swindlers at all costs.
