My experience with this Enterprise location was extremely disappointing. I received multiple conflicting explanations regarding charges that were applied to my account after I returned the rental vehicle. Each representative provided different information, and even the branch manager, Andre, changed his explanation weeks later. A refund that I was told would be processed never was, and no one took ownership of resolving the issue. What was most frustrating was the lack of customer service. Rather than listening to my concerns or attempting to de-escalate the situation, I felt dismissed. Instead of investigating why I had received conflicting information from multiple employees, I was simply told that Toyota had set up the rental incorrectly. While that may have contributed to the issue, it does not excuse the inconsistent communication or failure to provide accurate information. One final observation that contributed to my overall experience: when I returned the rental vehicle, no one asked whether I needed transportation back to the Toyota dealership or offered a shuttle. I ended up walking back, which fortunately was only about a 10-minute walk, so it wasn't a major inconvenience. However, when I arrived at Toyota, they asked whether Enterprise had brought me back, which gave me the impression that transportation is typically offered. While this wasn't the main issue, it added to the overall lack of communication and customer service I experienced. Overall, the experience was frustrating and unprofessional. Shoutout to the two guys working the counter (especially Joseph). They were absolutely getting cooked....returns, pickups, reservations, phones ringing... the whole circus... and somehow stayed professional the entire time. The problem wasn't them, it was the system. I reserved my van weeks ahead and specifically mentioned THREE times that I needed cargo space. I was told, "Don't worry." Well... I worried for nothing because they still gave me the wrong van... My 8:00 AM reservation turned into a 10:30 AM departure, making me late to my event. Joseph apologized, made it right with a discount, and did what he could. Enterprise Corporate: your employees deserve a raise... and about three more coworkers. The staff is solid. Inadequate Solution by Ben Unfortunately, we were "helped" or more accurately, spoken to by Ben, and customer service was nowhere in sight. We came in with a positive attitude, excited to finally pick up the car we had reserved over a month ago. To our surprise, the vehicle was not even on the lot. Instead of offering a real solution, Ben repeatedly suggested downgrade after downgrade. Naturally, we asked him, as the customer service representative, to help us locate the vehicle we originally reserved. Ben called both the Solana and Broadway locations. He told us Solana did not answer, while Broadway supposedly confirmed they had two of the vehicles we originally booked. As we waited for updates, Ben continued taking phone call after phone call, visibly becoming flustered and irritated. When we politely asked for an update, he looked at us in disbelief almost annoyed that we expected an actual resolution after waiting there. He then claimed he had already explained the situation, though at no point did he clearly confirm that a vehicle was secured for us. We simply asked for some kind of written confirmation or transfer note showing that Broadway was expecting us. Ben responded abruptly and dismissively, saying, "No, we cannot do that," in a rude and impatient tone. The entire interaction ended in disappointment and frustration. When we arrived at the Broadway location, we were informed that they had never received a call from Ben. They also explained that customers are not supposed to be sent to another location without confirmation or communication beforehand. Thankfully, although Broadway did not initially have the exact vehicle available, their staff treated us professionally, made actual calls, and ultimately found the car we had originally reserved. The difference in customer service between Broadway with Adrian Guzman (early 20's) and Ben( late 30's) at Auto Park was night and day. I'd like to apologize to Ben for us expecting customer service from a customer service representative. Newsflash: helping customers solve problems is part of the job. It honestly felt like Ben became overwhelmed by a few phone calls and could not properly handle customers standing in front of him. Instead of showing professionalism or empathy, he came across as irritated, dismissive, and unwilling to help resolve a situation that your company created. read more

This review is for Andre who is the manager at this enterprise. I am here every month because my Kia ev9 is constantly glitching. Andre always takes really good care of me when he sees me walk in, because he knows how stressful my situation. This location is constantly busy and they struggle to have inventory but they run a really tight ship and the whole team works so well under Andre's leadership, from what I observe. We are often customers of enterprise in general but we go to this one because they truly take care of us during our high stress experiences with Kia. read more

We have been to a few rental car companies and this enterprise location is by far the best. Best customer service. Back in June our car was being repaired and Kia set us up with a rental. Initially kia had requested a sedan for us but when I told enterprise we had a van and a family of 6 they accommodated our needs and updated Kia. In July our vehicle needed to be repaired again. During this time they were going through a van recall and actually did not have anything more than a 5 seater. We explained our situation and the staff was able to locate a larger vehicle from another location. It's been a while that our car has been in repair and the check oil light was coming up on our rental. I called enterprise and again their team was so professional and so helpful. They told us to come and switch the vehicle. When we arrived a few hours later the agent that helped us remembered taking my call. Everything went quick and smooth. Called to confirm a few mins ago and they said they don't have a vehicle available for a Premium SUV. Really disappointing especially when I have a trip tomorrow. Second time renting through this location this summer and second great experience. Again booked through the Costco app. Kellen handled my check in. He was very kind and helpful. I was rented a Honda CRV, nearly brand new, it was amazing. (I now want one for my next vehicle). I only had one customer in front of me in line. It was a smooth & easy process. Came back day before rental was due for return and Andre helped add my mother as an additional driver. Super easy & he was kind, personable and helpful. The next day Andre handled our return. Again, friendly & efficient. I'm renting again in July. Already reserved through the Costco app. Not sure why so many poor reviews, I've had great customer service here. Convenient area, but they need to higher more service people to attend the people who checked in online early to skip the wait at the desk, so this is what they advertise. Everytime I go there you're waiting an hour or 2 to get a rental. Those points you get aren't worth it, you have to redeem at the time of calling for a reserversation, (not at the desk) which you are transfered to another department. This is the first time I'm writing a bad review towards Enterprise since we have always had a great experience with them but for some reason this time it was such a negative experience that I think moving forward we might consider using other car rental services such as Turo, Budget, Dollar Car Rental in the future. So we booked a 15 seater van months in advance in order for our family of 10 to take a trip to the mountains for the holiday. When we get to the location the sales rep. informed us that they did not have one available for us and tried to contact us the evening before to let us know. I saw that they called the evening before at 7pm and left us a voicemail but they could have contacted us days before instead of the evening before so that it would give us more time to look for another location that would carry that size of a caravan. That was a lack of communication on there part! And how was I supposed to call them back during that time when there offices were closed! That put a damper on our trip because we expected the whole family to be in one single car as opposed to driving 2 separate cars. So when the sales rep. was trying to negotiate with us on other cars they can offer, I even asked if they can check other Enterprise locations to see if they had 15 seater caravans available but he totally dismissed us and informed us that the other locations didn't have any available without even checking! I mean c'mon..give us the courtesy of at least checking or pretending to check for us instead of dismissing us! Then he mentioned that they can give us 1 sedan and 1 suv and I knew that wouldn't be comfortable for our party since we had 2 toddlers riding with us and we needed ample room for their car seats as well as all of our luggage and so I insisted that we get 2 SUV's instead but then again he dismissed us and said they only could give us one sedan and an SUV. I explained to him of our situation with the kids having car seats and needing lots of space for our luggage and after going back and forth he decided to look for 2 SUV's. That whole back and forth conversation could have been avoided if he only worked with us on that part! Overall, it was bad customer service, bad communication, and bad inventory on their part. They need to change their process on reservations by avoiding overbooking and guaranteeing reservations since that's what I thought the point of making a reservation in the first place is holding the vehicle. So next time, I think I'll consider using other rental places instead of enterprise to avoid the hassle. read more

Caitlyn Filippone...enough said. She is the assistant manager at this location. She was very aggressive, rude, mean and inconsiderate. First off, the wait time was over an hour. I asked if we could come back when the car was ready and she explicitly said no you have to wait here in the lobby. There were over 10 people already waiting in the lobby. I left a customer care and they specifically told me waiting. The lobby was not mandatory or needed. I made it on my reservation and came back when the vehicle was ready. Enterprise customer care and the Regional Manager Joe were excellent. Extremely kind, apologized and made everything right. I came to this Enterprise location because it was assigned by my insurance after I had a totaled vehicle... Enterprise picked me up from the auto shop my car got dropped off for a repair evaluation and then the whole process of getting my rental was about 30 mins just cause there was other customers and i had to wait a little. Which is fine. Idk why a lot of people complain about waiting for a service. I had an option between two vehicles and both were in great condition. Fairly clean. I enjoyed my time with the rental and just went and returned it clean again and put in just a bit more gas to make sure it returned in as similar condition as i received it. If you are in a car accident and need a rental car with this place, here are my recommendation. 1. Go there, dont call them. They will put you on hold and forget about you. I called three times and was on hold for more than 10 minutes on each call. 2. Make sure your rental is full when you get it. They gave me 80%. And when I have to return it, I don't know how much 80% fuel to the dollar. To make it easier, pick it up with full gas. If not they said to turn the car on while fueling, is this even safe?! Fast and easy car rental pick up and drop off. My first car rental was a Jeep Compass, which was great but unfortunately smelled of cigarette smoke, and I didn't notice until I turned on the air and left the location. Finding out that I'll be needing to extend my car rental, I called Enterprise to arrange a car rental exchange. I was able to speak with Anthony who went above and beyond to help me despite their busy schedule. The following day, before I left home for the car exchange at Enterprise, Anthony gave me a courtesy call letting me know that a car is ready for me. The most awesome part? A beautiful white Jeep Cherokee was waiting for me! All freshly washed, clean smelling with extra sanitizing wipes in the inside, and all the bells and whistles! We did our exchange, our checks, contract signing and I was driving out the parking lot. Thank you very much for all your help Anthony, and for a great service recovery. First, I want to say I have used this location once before and had zero problems. However, my latest rental on February 26th, I asked for a Van and the night before I get called there was no van. They told me that they would work on it and if I could come at 8:30am, instead of my 7:30am reservation time, to which I agreed to. I get there at 8:30am and the lady tells me there is no Van "You can wait up to two hours or upgrade and leave now your choice", as if she was not in the mood to deal with the me. I was already running late so I took the upgrade. I get back from my trip and decided not to comment as I did not want to talk to any of the employees as I was disappointed with the customer service. A few days later the manager calls me and asks me what was wrong. I tell them about being forced to upgrade even after accommodating them coming in an hour later, to which they apologize and said they would refund the difference (haha) this was over two weeks ago. I guess the style of customer service they are running is spit in your face and lie to you, while they laugh with your money behind your back. If I could give this place a big fat 0, I would. I has some problems with my personal vehicle, so I needed to rent a car while it was in the shop being repaired. I had no idea how long I would need the rental, but I went to this place. I got a RAV4, and I got it for 24 hours. If I needed it longer, they said to just call them to let them know. We'll, the next day my cat was not ready, so I called and got the rental for 1 more day. I ended up keeping the car for 7 days. Before returning it, I looked online to see about how much it was going to cost me for a week, and it was no more than $400. When I returned the car they inspe Ted it and took down the mileage, they told me the total was going to be $1,157 and some change!!! I could not believe it. They said since I didn't reserve it or tell them i was going to need it for 7 days, I had to pay the daily rate, plus the insurance. I think they told me $122.00 a day. But, somehow, they charged me over $165 a day for a RAV4. And, I returned it with more gas than was in it when I got it! Needless to say, I sent their corporate office an email and hopefully they will give me back some of my money! This place us THE BIGGEST RIP OFF EVER! I WILL NEVER USE THEM OR RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE, EVER!!!! To charge someone $165 a day for a RAV4 is CRIMINAL! THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!!!! THEY SUCK!!!!!!!!!!! read more

This is my 3rd time going to this Enterprise location. I only go to this location just becoz it is like a mile from my place. Anyways, every time I go here for my rental car reservation to pick up, it is always a Nightmare or even a Disaster. Their LOT is always empty. It may have cars parked but I bet or maybe, cars by the staffs working. Today when I came at 8:15am, there are about 4 staffs working but, NO CARS AVAILABLE. Their LOT is empty again. I was checked in by one of the staff, and hearing other people that have been waiting for about 30 minutes, and started to complain. I waited for my turn for about 45 minutes, and started to complain too. One of the staff approached and talked to me. And what makes my pissed off was when the staff gave me an option to make me happy, he said, he will upgrade the car but I need to wait for another 30-45 minutes. I said, that's ridiculous. the reservation was made a month ago and they should have plan for it today. NO MANAGER was present during that time. End of the story, I got an equinox midsize SUV. DIRTY SUV, don't know if it was disinfected inside tho. WORST was THE GAS TANK is almost EMPTY!!! I WOULD NEVER COMEBACK TO THIS LOCATION at all. I am beyond upset that this company would offer cars and not have the car you need. My rental is for tomorrow morning and they call me the afternoon the day before and say sorry don't have it. We can offer you a nicer car but it is not the full size SUV you want. Now I have to scramble to find a car for tomorrow... I received a random notification on my phone stating that someone tried to charge my card today. So I called the location that my card was charged at and a lady by the name of Mercedes that works in the Chula Vista office picked up. I was trying to gain some information and she was being very dismissive stating that she can't help me because the ticket was from the Carlsbad location. I told her I understood and that I rented a car in may but that doesn't explain why my card was charged today in her location. Again, dismissively, told me she can't help me or give me more information because it's not a ticket at her location. However, she refused to explain why my card was charged.
