From the beginning, communication was a mess--they rarely returned our calls and we had to constantly follow up just to get basic updates. The tech we were assigned to was barely ever at the shop because he worked at multiple locations, and unfortunately, he never handed off our case to anyone else. To make things worse, he clearly didn't understand the process to complete a warranty claim, which delayed everything even further. Now it's April 10th, and we just found out they also weren't returning calls from the warranty company. That's over four months wasted with absolutely no progress, all because of disorganization and lack of professionalism. I had been putting off replacing my tires since the fall because we were waiting for them to replace the rims. Anyone knows you don't mount new tires twice if you don't have to. So now I have no new rims and my tires are bald. They dropped the ball every step of the way. Avoid Fonzarelli's at all costs

So I went to Fonzarelli's instead. They took a week to get all the parts, paint and fix my car. It literally looks brand new and like nothing ever happened to it. They even cleaned the inside. If you want your car done the right way from honest people who don't overcharge by trying to upsell crap you don't need or charge you with insane hour labor rates and do a perfect job, go to this place.

When I got there, they answered all my questions and gave me the keys for a test drive. Afterwards, one of the sales guys drove me back to a train station much closer to NYC. On the drive, we had a great chat and he didn't push me to buy the car and I don't think even mentioned it. I went back a few days later -- this time by train + uber. I took the car to a mechanic, returned to the dealer, asked more questions, took the car for one MORE spin to check one last thing, and then decided to buy it. They held the car for me for several days on my request, ordered license plates and answered more questions. No pushing, no bull. Just a reasonable price, a car in excellent condition and a great experience.

After evaluating my Ford I was told that there was a Technical Bulletin that came out from Ford several years ago. I am impressed that they did the research to evaluate my car. They told me I did NOT NEED A TRANSMISSION. I only needed an update on the vehicle computer. Here's the numbers. Ford wanted $3500 for a rebuilt transmission. A new transmission was $6000. Final cost at Scotty's $150 to evaluate $250 to upload the new software Total $400.00 Can't say enough good things about this place. Talk about trusting a Mecanic!!! Due to preexisting damage to my rim, they didn't think the tire would seal properly so I could make my 70 mile trip back home. They put my spare on and told me "no charge" for their services.
