One example: I called someone else within the company to ask a question, and the next morning Nicole called me at home and yelled at me for speaking with anyone but her. I was severely chastised for about 20 minutes. I could hear that she was afraid that others in the company might see her as "uninformed", and I could also tell based on a previous conversation that she was taking her anger at someone else, out onto me. I did not appreciate being called while having my morning coffee in peace, and being dumped on like that. At the end of my long relationship here, (about $15,000 later), at the 11th hour, Nicole extended my rental without my permission, authorized funds in my bank account I didn't approve, and was avoiding my phone calls. This was done to cause me harm, stress and worry. I had finally been able to buy a car. Nicole did NOT like this. I suggest Avis find another representative to work at this office. I do not see things ending well with this one.

Alex picked me up at Akiki Auto with the rental I had was a zford Escape it was too big and boxy for me so I asked to be switched into something similar to my Mazda CX30. I was then helped by CJ and switched into their Carbon Mondel Mazda 2024 CX30 I instantly got in and was hit with smell of smoke. I also had to put the car seat in car myself with work clothes on and heels... But the guys were very helpful in extending my rental while my car work kept getting pushed back. I only have it 3 stars due to issues with rental the buttons were stuck the driver door sounded hollow when shut. Dents and chunk taken on one tires just very little upkeep and maintenance on the car. Alot wear and tear. And took almost month to get smoke smell out. Not ideal with toddler.

While it was parked at my home, a neighbor told me it has a flat. A flat? How? So I instantly called Enterprise and they connected me with their roadside assistance team. They shared that this car has NO spare tire (why wouldn't it?) and they were coming to tow it. They asked if I needed a replacement car and I declined. Them towing from my property is the last time I saw it. (No one ever told me I'd be charged for any of this) Fast forward to September 29. I needed a rental for the DAY once more. Upon entering, I asked if the Jetta was all set. The employee quickly said it was, and I proceeded with my next rental. (I had NO idea at this point I was yet to be charged a huge bill) so then I got an unsafe Mirage and within a couple hours, I returned it. It shook at 70mph and the alignment was WAY off. Long story short on that - they ended up refunding the Mirage, which was nice. But I let them know that that car should NOT be on the road. So remember the Jetta, from the 23rd? Well, it seems some of the folks at this Dedham location cannot keep accurate records. Their paperwork (and the final bill) claims I had the Jetta from September 23-26, AND I was charged on top of that a late return fee so my $88 rental became a $357 rental. Since I've learned of this - I've been reaching out to Enterprise for over 2 weeks with no success. I've chatted through their website. I've called and spoken with a few reps and even Escalation. I've called the Dedham branch and I've emailed the assistant manager. Not ONE person has reached out to discuss this. If someone from the Dedham Enterprise location could call me to clarify their billing practices, that would be great. I'm owed over $200 and I'd love to know how they have NO record of the car being towed on the 23rd.

I finally made it to the front to check in at 2:54pm and was handed a little card with the time handwritten on it. I was told to go sit and wait and that the TSA person would come out looking at people's "time" cards to see who was next. There was a couple already waiting when I sat down, and they ended up leaving because they couldn't wait any longer. I was finally seen by the TSA woman at 3:32. It seems like having an appointment means nothing. Very frustrating.

Paying a small premium to have a car delivered instead of having to find your way to a zipcar rental or another rental area has been hugely helpful. The customer service representatives in the app itself are polite, although occasionally slightly obtuse, likely due to corporate scripting. Where things get shaky, though, is in the app itself. In general, the app works quite well. It's easy to book from an address Kyte covers, and the price is generally very reasonable. However, when the app has problems, it REALLY has problems. As of the current version: 1. Deleting certain credit cards is sometimes impossible. And once your card has an issue, for example, when I switched phones, it becomes impossible to delete. 2. When the app has any issue with your credit card, as it did with mine, the app can just spontaneously delete all of your trips. It deleted 13 future trips. And because pricing on Kyte is heavily influenced by when you book, this could mean you end up paying far more when you re-book. And 3. There is no phone support, and escalation is all by e-mail so if you actually want to discuss your issue, as I very much did mine, there's no one who can really help you in a timely manner when something goes horribly wrong. So overall: Kyte provides a great service with amazing front line workers. However, their mediocre and even occasionally broken user interface really hinders their ability to provide the best possible service.

I was about 3.5 weeks out from the date I would meet them for pick-up, provided all the information that was needed and figured I was all set. Wrong. This is what their website says regarding a deposit (and see photo): "a deposit of $300 (and $500 for debit cards) is held starting 24 hours before your booking". Unfortunately, that was not true. Deposit was taken 3 1/2 weeks before the rental, and I was purposely trying to not use that card for any charges at that time. Note to Kyte: either fix the glitch which automatically charges right away, or fix the terms on your site!
