This is the worst company ever!!! If there was an option to give a negative star I would give it -5. I made a reservation over a month ago for a full size sedan, the credit card was charged when the reservation was made so we pre-paid the car. When we got to this location they did not have a car available for us. They called different Hertz locations and there was no car available anywhere else. Supposedly they told us because of the time of the year and the demand there was no full size sedan available anywhere in South Florida. They said that even if you do a reservation and you prepay it, they do not guarantee that you will have a car. What is the point of making a reservation and paying for it? Why do they even offer such an option??? The only option we were given was to take a Hyundai Accent which is a small car to fit 5 people including a car seat on a 3 day roadtrip from Miami to Las Vegas (clearly that was not a viable option for us). Since we refused to take that not only because it was very small for us but because it wasn't what we had paid for because we paid for a bigger car, we stayed here at the location and called corporate. Their corporate office is equally as ineffective!! While we were waiting here someone dropped off an SUV which clearly could have worked for us, we asked to take that car and upgrade our reservation even if we had to pay extra but they refused to do that. They said they had other reservations for SUVs and couldn't give it to us. I had to ask for the manager and refused to leave because I couldn't understand how they don't take some reservations seriously and didn't have a car for us which we had paid for over a month ago, yet they won't give me the car that was just dropped off even if I was offering to pay the difference if I had to. The one guy that took care of us was nice and was trying to help us (he seriously shouldn't be working here because everyone else in this locations is nasty, rude, and have zero customer service skills!) the other lady in the front desk couldn't have been more nasty to other customers even if she tried!!!! I am beyond surprised that people with her attitude could be working in a front desk dealing with customers. If I were the manager I would have already fired her not to mention I wouldn't have hired her to begin with. She literally told a customer "would you shut up so I can explain to you what I'm saying". Seriously I am beyond surprised this company is in business. I would NEVER be using this company ever again and specifically this location. Everyone here (with the exception of Tirelle Roberts which tried to help but there was not much he could do) is extremely rude and nasty. Apparently Omar, the Manager of this location does not care how his employees treat their customers and doesn't tell them anything. You can obviously tell how unorganized, incompetent, and unreliable this company is starting from the top and trickling down to all of the employees!
