It was the largest vehicle they had at the time. After trying to wait for an hour for a bigger vehicle to become available, I asked if any would be available early Friday morning. Ms. Marilyn asked me to come back at 5:00 AM, luckily I get up at 4am most days so I was used to the ungodly hour. The next morning I arrived and was put into a beautiful Ford Expedition. Thanks to my patience and Ms. Marilyn we had an amazing trip and I'll be signing up to be a Hertz Gold Member so I can be ready for my next adventure. (The lack of the fifth star is because I did have to wake up and drive to the airport a 2nd time )

Then a ice storm hit Dallas and caused me to rent another week. Well they wouldn't let me use the discount and they stuck it to me. The second week was twice as much as the first. Then when it came time to return the car, they never released the holds on my accounts. They had the nerve to blame my bank account as if my bank is the one who put the charges there. SMH. To make it worse they did multiple charges on my account. I almost overdraft like four times. It's been weeks since I returned the car and it's still on there. And after calling and asking for a manager, they blocked my number. I should have just went to enterprise. First time ever going to Hertz, and after this terrible experience, I'll never use them again.

The return for your car is in a completely different area from where you rented the car. The entrance is poorly marked and I ended up in the wrong area returning the car. I dropped off the car and of course every terminal shuttle but the one I needed came by. I finally was able to get on my shuttle. My shuttle driver was the nicest woman ever but Jesus H. Christ she drove slooooooooooooowwww. Then there's the never ending construction which throws more "adventure" into the mix. I didn't plan for this comedy of errors - and missed my flight as a result. I arrived at the terminal with only 45 minutes to spare. As much as I hate Atlanta's airport, at least they have an APM from their rental site to the terminal. This ended up being a painful $400 lesson. Next time I'll uber and rent offsite.

Very convenient they will pick you up or the service person will drop you off. I was dropped off. Had good service but had to wait for the rental Jeep to get ready otherwise I would have to get a minivan. I would not have been happy with a minivan. Lucky a Jeep Wrangler just came in. Not sure why all they had were mini vans but they need to work on that issue. Dropped the jeep off a few days later with a full tank of gas. No issues very easy to use. They offered to pick me up from the collision shop and were so kind and gracious. I know I was so flustered that day, and the gentleman that picked me up was so kind and reassuring that by the time I was in the rental car I felt so much better. Definitely will use them again!!

Update to my Enterprise review: Enterprise responds to negative reviews asking us to email them our…read morecomplaint. I had emailed enterprise prior to leaving a review. I received an automated response, so I decided to leave a review here. I have no received any kind of feedback from enterprise after leaving the email or this yelp review. Do not be fooled by Enterprise "following up" to negative reviews on here. Aaron, the manager (which he made very clear) was exceptionally rude to me. He called me this morning around 11:40 to confirm my reservation which was set up through Liberty Mutual since I was rear ended. I told him I'd need the car brought to Toyota Atkinson location. He said no problem, since there's an Enterprise right around the corner. He said everything would be ready when I needed it at 4:30. Around 5pm, I'm still waiting around at Toyota. I called the Enterprise that is around the corner and they explained that the reservation was set up through a different location and that I'd need to call the other one. They nicely explained that they'd help if they had a car available but there were none. I called Aaron and greeted him with "Hello, this is Alison Knox. We spoke earlier this morning about my reservation." He responded rudely with "umm I speak to like 50 people every day. What do you need?" I explained that I needed a car to come to me since my car is under repair. Aaron told me that they do not pick up people or drop off cars. I explained that I was confused by that since Enterprise is known for doing that and the other location offered to do that if they had a car available. He said "well I'm the branch manager so I would know what we can and can't do". I responded that my car is getting service and I don't know how I'm supposed to get to his location for a car and he said "I don't know either ma'am you need to figure that out". I'm shocked by how incredibly rude that man was. I called three other enterprise locations after that, however after waiting on hold for each location for 15+ minutes, I had to hang up and move on. I ended up getting my damaged car and returning home. Complete waste of my time working with Enterprise today.
