    I rent from Hertz all the time as I am in the Presidents Circle "club", which really means nothing. Renting from Hertz is easy but their customer service is a 4 letter word that begins with S. This is my second issue I had with them were nothing was done and nobody from Hertz cared. I picked up my rental from Milwaukee airport and saw the gas tank was not full, see pick. Now it may not seem like much but when you get charged, as I have because you were short 2 gallons of gas and charged their rate of $10 plus dollars a gallon you want to be compensated since I returned it full. I let the attendant know, when I left the airport about the non full tank and he said he would make note of it on my rental receipt. My mistake for believing this was done and for not checking before I left the facility. When I returned it I went to the counter to explain to the person behind the desk I was met with, ok so what do you want us to do, you should or returned it at the same level you picked it up. I said if I did you would of charged me your cost for gas. This person had no care in the world and said she would pass this onto her managers who would call me. Well guess what, Hertz customer service is non excitant. No call and no call back after calling their 800 number. I would say they should be embarrassed by all the negative reviews their CS gets but you can tell, if you break down, have an issue or anything else, they could give a darn, Shameful at best, as other companies actually take pride in their company, not this one.

    Milwaukee is my hometown, born and raised. So I know this town oh so well..... I have to start by saying that I've been a Gold Plus member for over ten years and being a Gold Plus member 'use to' actually be a badge of honor, now what I've noticed about Hertz as a company things have REALLY CHANGED and this is in reference to most of the cities I've rented from, the cars are as old as 2019 which I was surprised that a rent-A-Car Company would have cars that old in their fleet, also the customer service has been subpar, being a Gold Plus member 'use to' actually be a badge of honor, now in reference to this location I relocated to Arizona 17 years ago and return home often and I have rented cars from this location many times and I've also seen the staff at this location change many times, it was so bad at some point that I refused to rent from this location, but In the past year I decided, because of convenience to give this location another shot and I have to say I'm surprisingly impressed Faith and Ashley are the two young ladies that Ive dealt with the most but it is another young lady and a guy that Ive encountered but I can't remember either of their names but the entire staff is really professional and courteous which is a lot different from what I've experienced in the past. I've seen this staff multitask with ease to ensure a professional fluid flow, I would like to give a special thanks to Ashley she actually remembers me by name and takes the extra effort to ensure I'm completely satisfied Kudos and thanks Ashley for the exceptional job that you're doing!!!!!!!

    They rewrote my original quote , doubled the price and ripped me off.  I only drove 21 miles in 2 days!

    it was my first time renting and every one at hertz made my experience very pleasant and smooth . I would definitely rent again

    I booked a trip that originated at ORD with drop off at MKE. During my rental, I accidentally…read moredropped my wedding band into a crevice of the center console, landing somewhere underneath the cupholders/parking brake. Knowing that I was going to file a claim with my insurance company for the loss, I informed a manager at drop off what happened just in case my insurance company asked if I had informed them. This manager was so nice. He said I should enter a lost and found ticket with enterprise so that I could give my insurance company proof that I informed them. The branch also called me later saying that they were pulling out the center console and seats to see if they could find it for me! Unfortunately, the car design probably made the ring fall further down, but the effort of this team went above and beyond my expectations. I encourage you to support this business if you need a rental car at MKE airport.

    DO NOT RENT A CAR HERE This was not only the worst car…read morerental experience I've ever had. It's the worst company I've ever dealt with! FYI, Enterprise and Alamo are the same company. This Milwaukee Airport location gave me a car that was 300+ miles overdue for service. There was a mechanical problem and the only solution was for me to call a tow truck and get an Uber to where I needed to go. To add insult to injury, after dealing with this, they wanted me to drive the car back to the airport to have the oil changed! The service rep then told me to compensate me, he would extend the Rental for 3 days, to make up for the 3 days I could not use it. What he did NOT DISCLOSE, was that there was an additional $225.00 charge! Since they had my credit card, they just added it to my bill, despite my disagreement! Stay away from this Alamo/Enterprise location!

    Horrible Experience…read more I had a rental from a different (non-airport) Enterprise location and was driving North through Wisconsin on Sunday 9/21/25 when the car broke down about 50 mi North of Milwaukee. Being a Sunday, the closest Enterprise location that was open was the MKE airport location. Their roadside assistance (Urgently) arranged for a tow truck and an Uber to get me to the airport. When I arrived at the airport, I had to wait in line at the rental counter and then again out at the Kiosk/office in the garage, only to be told that I had to wait for the broken-down car to be received and "get eyes on it". Through the whole process to this point I was never told that I would have to wait until the was received and checked in before they would give me a replacement. In my view, the tow truck that they arranged had the car so once I arrived at the rental location, I would be provided with a replacement. But this branch was unapologetic and would make absolutely no exception. They forced me to wait 2 more hours until the tow truck brought the car to their other facility. In fact, they didn't have any information about my rental or that I would be showing up there to get a replacement. My trip was already going to be delayed by about 3-1/2 hours due to the mechanical issue in the car that Enterprise rented me. But because this location had no consideration for my situation, the whole delay was 5-1/2 hours. Very disappointing.
