Enterprise was supposed to pick me up at the body shop where I was dropping off my car at 9:00 am. Didn't happen. At 9:15 I called the shop. They had forgotten all about me. They said they would leave to come get me right away. Finally Picked up at 9:45 and driven to the 7700 Park Blvd location. Even though Enterprise called me to confirm my reservation last week and had gathered all my info at that time, telling me all I needed was my drivers license and a credit card on the day of the rental, they wanted all my info AGAIN as if they hadn't already gotten it when they called me to confirm. I had to provide my policy number, my deductible, my address, two different phone numbers (which was quite a trick because I only have one), my Drivers license, and my credit card for a deposit. All info they already had (Except the credit card number, I don't hand that out over the phone). The attendant took me out to look at a car. The first thing the attendant did was pop the trunk to show me the spare tire. No Spare Tire. The attendant said I didn't need one. I said I did. I can just imagine the hassles I would have to go through if I had a flat. Went back inside and waited 1/2 hour for them to wash, groom, and fill the tank of a newly returned vehicle. I have a 4 door sedan and that is what I wanted to rent. I ended up with a 4 door Hyundai Tucson. Finally left the Enterprise lot at 11:00 am after 2 hours of frustration.

He offered to pick us up and take us to the airport free of charge just to make sure the kids got there safely. That kind of kindness and care is so rare these days. She acted like she didn't want to be there? She told us she didn't have our reservation (not true because corp management had to make it due to a prior location being out of stock) and then she said we couldn't use our Amex to pay for our reservation, when we use budget and our Amex .... all the time. We had to have budget corporate management help us (again! And he nicely gave us 2x discount for the trouble) and corp gave us a rental at another location. Which accepted our Amex, no issues.

I got a receipt via email which told me what would be charged to my American Express. Period I happen to be looking at my American Express statement three or four days later and noticed that I was charged $200 more than what this statement said. I contacted budget via email the next day. I was sent a form letter tailored to this situation. I've been charged extra. We went back-and-forth with emails. A week later, I was finally told why there was an extra charge.. The Largo budget staff said that there were ashes in the car and it smelled like smoke. I am a non-smoker! I get headaches when I'm in a car that has the smoke odor. Therefore, I would have returned the car if I noticed the smoke smell. My latest email told me to call the claims office. This is a week after I became aware of the situation and told a few times that after their investigation, the $200 extra cleaning fee charge was appropriate. I will repeat, I am a non-smoker and did not leave ashes and a smoky smell in the rental car! I have wondered if this is some sort of scam to boost business income at this location.
