I don't write many reviews but write them when it's well deserved. The people at this location are…read moreoutstanding. Let's start from the beginning. I had a claim on my car and needed a rental, I was able to get a ride to the rental shop and get my car without a problem. Unfortunately I had to switch cars and switched cars with no issue and was helped with ease and again had to switch vehicles. Note these vehicles was not of the rent-a-centers fault. They treated me with top tier customer service while helping me with my problems with caring and professionalism in mind. I'd like to give a big thanks to the Branch Manager Andrea Kohrs for going above and beyond for me when I needed to most as well as her lovely employees who I can't remember all the names too but yk who you are! The receptionist for the Suzuki service department answered the phone with horrible phone etiquette ; I hadn't finished my sentence before she was talking over me and placing me on hold. Her deplorable customer service worsened with each additional phone call to the department for further information. Walking into the dealership was worst. The cashier was just as rude as the lady on the phone. When I asked if there was anyone available to answer questions related to my car repair she responded with a snide "Yeah, he's at his desk." I had to repeatedly ask for "his" name so that I may approach him with more respect than she was giving me. The technician answered my questions and the work done on my car appears to be up to par. I took my car to St. Charles Suzuki because of its proximity to my home, next time I'll drive a little further if that means better customer service.

I kept saying no I paid for a full size. Suddenly a full size pick up shows up, with dirty socks in the trunk, and on the way home the low tire pressure comes on. So I go back and ask for a new truck and they give me my third truck. I go to check it out and the back left taillight is shattered. I go in again to have them get me another truck. The lady said that's all they have. I'm like okay can you call me another store then? She said no I already did. No she didn't I was outside for less an a minute. Also how would she know to call another store for me before I even saw the truck. I ask again can you please call another store? So she did and put it on speaker. After three rings she ends the call and says "no answer." This truck rental is for my wedding in another state that I leave for the same day as the rental pick up. So after them not having any other trucks. And after the third truck and the guy saying "it's fine the tail light still works." I said "No, I'm not driving a truck states over with a busted taillight and not get a ticket on the way." With no other options I take the second truck again and ask the male to come check to make sure the tire is okay. He did not and told ME to go take it to Firestone. And if there's first storms all over and they can just bill budget. That shouldn't be my responsibility to get their vehicle checked and fixed on my time. Firestone being busy said it might be a slow leak, which it was. Also never got a receipt because they already processed the third truck. She just wrote the truck number for the second truck on the third truck paperwork and kept it. So each day for my 9 day rental every morning I had to fill my tire up because it deflated over night. On the way home the back tail light went out and low on wiper fluid popped up. Never again will I ever go to O'Fallon budget and use Budget rentals.

We were on a Lake Tahoe ski trip and rented a car from Hertz. Picking up the car took a little…read morelonger than I expected because the represenative was really trying to sell me on taking the insurance and prepaid gas even though I told them I didn't want it. When we got to the Reno airport, the car that we were given was different that the one that I reserved. I was concerned at first but the car was great and it all worked out well. When I dropped it off, there wasn't any direction on what to do with the keys. But after a short wait an attendent came up and took care of everything. Everything worked out well.

It was very challenging to see while driving and I was driving out of state. All highway driving and impaired wipers is a recipe for a disaster. Thankfully I managed and was able to maintain safety. This was a huge component to my score. This is a basic need for a car and paying $100 a day and wipers didn't work are unacceptable. When I picked up car, the gentleman at counter was friendly and was able to get me in and out quickly but friendliness was not enough to offset the impaired wipers and dirty car.

My husband picked up our vehicle and when he got it home I noticed it was FILTHY. I went to talk to the "owner" who then tried to tell me he "didn't rent dirty cars" but seems like I'm not the first reviewer to say that he does in fact rent dirty vehicles. He told me that because I already got a discount from my place of work and he "made no money" he couldn't do anything for me. I was never looking for "anything" from him but compassion and to make him aware whoever is prepping and cleaning these vehicles weren't doing the best job and as an "Owner" you'd think he'd take the constructive criticism and talk to his team about it.
