Totally disappointed in this Hertz location. Located inside of the Vetrans Ford dealership, it's quite difficult to find without asking. I was actually excited this location was so close to my house in Westchase. NOT excited is what I am right now. First, there was no one at the counter when I arrived. One of the Ford ladies had to assist me. Said I was all set. Seemed easy and seamless as I prepared for my journey in the car for 3 hours. When doing work roadtrip a a definite requirement is Sirius - Seriously! Well yea, my car forgot to come with it although I requested it. I went back in and the lady stated she had to "call" the Hertz guy. She proceeded to do so from her cell phone. She gave me the phone and told me that he had a lot of Gold members come thru and that's the best he could do for me. I guess he forgot I was a Gold member also. I decided to suck it up and just take the car. OMG, hello. Car wash, vacuum inside something. Dust and hair on the dash. Disgusting. I can't even bring myself to look in the back seat for fear of what I will see. I should've taken my own personal vehicle, but god only knows what the process would be to cancel being that there was NO hertz rep to speak to about it at the location. Get it together, Hertz! Never again!!! We got the rental for 4 days 165.00, for an extra day they charged me 73.00! I called customer service and the idiot started to read the same receipt I have!! I was trying to explain her how the hell my rate went up so much for one day?! She said: oh there's a fee of 12.00 for the extra day... so if 165.00 for 4 days is 41.25 per day, Isn't it supposed to be 165.00+41.25+12.00= 218.25?! She said they kept the same rate, which is not true! I was charged 238.63! I said never again will do business with this people!!! They probably don't care cause they would rip other people off! And I'm taking this to the BBB!!!! read more

It doesn't get more horrible than this place. I arrived at 10AM to pick up my rental. They didn't get my rental until 10:30AM. I waited 30 minutes just to get the car that I didn't want. The customer service was digusting the representative didn't even apologize for taking his sweet ass time to bring the car around to the front. I wish I would checked there reviews prior to this. Never again will I rent from this Hertz. Like they say you get for what you pay for. read more

This guy Charles was one of the rudest people I've ever come across! When I picked up the car I noticed how I rude, unprofessional and out of line he was but figured maybe he was having a bad day like we all have at times. He was the exact same when I returned the vehicle a week later! When I returned the vehicle to him he asked me how bad did I smash it up. I usually just drop the vehicle back off and take off but after his comment I asked him if we could do an inspection. Once he got in the car he said he saw an ash on the dashboard and charged me a $300 smoking fee when nobody smoked in the vehicle. I guess he punished me for asking for an inspection. I hope to never cross paths with this guy again. This isn't my first time renting from Hertz but definitely my last. BEWARE! read more

Crap service for a ok car. Also being next to a toll road beware of the crappy toll fees they forget to mention and buried in the contract. Use the one toll and pay for the toll and $5 a day, for the entire rental, whether you use tolls anymore or not. Thieves with crappy services and maybe average cars, Great Combination. read more
