very limited selection of cars !!!!! then after renting for two weeks, we wanted to extend our overpriced rental for 3 days over the holiday weekend and we were told they do not allow extensions !!!!! my mom use to say "never say never" ~ i will never rent from them again !!!! someone would have to give me a $1000 credit to try to get me back and i'd sell it on facebook for $500 !!!! read more

Hertz rentals was great in helping me with a rental while I was out of a car. They didn't push any additional insurance on me and gave me an affordable car to drive. Everyone I spoke to was very kind and helpful. I would highly recommend them! read more

Office staff is very nice but quoted me one price on reservation day and then upped by 30.00 day after an override from 'her boss'. Classic bait and switch. Tried to do business locally but not going to be overcharged by this local affiliate. read more

NEVER go to Hertz in Saratoga! I live in Albany and also have a rental home in Saratoga Springs which I rent on AirBNB. I went to the office and spoke with a girl named Heather. She was horrible!!! When I walked in she was eating a whopper and fries and continued to do so while we talked, it was so gross. Keep in mind, this girl is incredibly obese, which is fine, but she should not be eating a hamburger while talking with a customer. I asked her to come out to show me different model cars as I would like to have options for my renters when they come into town. She would not get up off her chair when I asked her to come out and show me cars. She just sat there and told me about the cars. Heather said she had to stay in the office and was not permitted to leave to show peopple cars. I know this is untrue as I have rented there before from a man (I think name Karl) who came out and talked with me and my family for over 15 minutes. VERY VERY lazy, she should lay off of the burgers and focus on the customers!!!! I will be sure to tell all my friend in Saratoga to stay away from Hertz . read more

A small lake, no large motorized boats are allowed, so it is quiet and peaceful. In fact, the greatest disturbances tend to be other campers who insist on playing their music loudly. Thankfully, there is usually a good amount of space between sites, and most people respect the quiet hours. While this campground is a long way away from where I live, it is definitely worth the drive. If you are interested in fall camping, I can't even being to describe how beautiful it is to wake up in the morning to see the lake surrounded by a riot of colors.

Located close to Indian Lake, the Lewey Lake Campground has multiple entrances off of Route 30N with the main campground the furthest south and what I have labeled on the Yelp map. Keep in mind that the address does not come up properly on Google Maps or Bing maps so look at the Yelp placement for more accuracy. We were at the furthest north campsites which are pretty isolated from everyone else. The sites our group stayed at were situated right next to a stream which was great for sleeping. You couldn't hear anyone around you and even with the goings on at our lower campsite we couldn't hear them at all. There only outhouses at this location of the campground but it is a short drive to the main sites that have real bathrooms and showers along with a nice, simple beach. Despite how close it is to Route 30N, I definitely felt isolated in a good way and would highly recommend staying there for people looking for some interesting camping with reasonably convenient location.
