This is unacceptable customer service, as no customer should be pressured to pay for an upgrade when the reserved vehicle is unavailable. The agent stated she contacted her manager, who confirmed that we would need to pay the additional $150. I then called Costco, which provided Budget's customer service number. I spoke with Sam, who confirmed that we would receive the upgraded vehicle at the Costco rate. Additionally, the first car the agent brought around required an oil change, and we did not leave until after 2:00 PM because she began assisting another customer before completing the process for our replacement vehicle.

When it was time for check-in the day day, I was greeted by Allison and the check-in process went quickly and smoothly. She was also very nice. Just a quick note - they are are a "full" Hertz Rental so they do not only rent vehicles for customers getting their vehicle serviced.
