I was on my way to catch a flight and had no time to go to the rental car desk and find a manager. Then the lady hung up and didn't answer again. So not only are we going to take things that are left in the vehicle, they are going to be super unprofessional. By the time everything was added, I was charged an additional $850 on top of what I had already paid through Expedia--for just a one-week rental. This felt extremely excessive and unreasonable, especially considering the rental had already been paid for in advance. While the car itself was perfectly fine and met my expectations, the customer service experience left a lot to be desired. The representative who assisted me was not pleasant or polite, even after I calmly explained my situation and what I had been told beforehand. There was no effort made to clarify or resolve the discrepancy--just a take-it-or-leave-it approach. Overall, this experience felt misleading and overpriced.
