I found it! I found it! A huge thanks to my awesome neighbor network on NextDoor who recommended He's Spa to me! I relocated here a couple months ago and had HUGE knots in my neck and shoulders from the move that kept getting worse. I tried another place a couple weeks ago on the other side of town, but they pretty much just lathered lotion all over me rather than really attacking the painful knots. I was thinking I was doomed to wait until I went back to my previous town to visit family to get a decent massage...but the pain was so bad today that I continued my search for a good place. SO glad I did! Michael was fantastic. Getting the knots out of my neck and back likely gave him quite a workout! I am so appreciative and can turn my head again! (Yes, it was THAT bad). For $30, I chose the 60 minute foot massage. This included a full body (clothed) massage. I will be back - regularly! I find when I maintain with regular massages that I don't get so many painful knots. Thank you, He's Spa - I was in so much pain a few hours ago and now I feel great! BTW, there were a few other people there, but everyone was very quiet and it was a very peaceful environment. The massage chairs are also newer than most places like this - and in my opinion, much more comfortable! I also appreciated the extra sanitary sheet they put down on the massage bed where your face goes. Thought I'd mention these since I read some reviews that mentioned being unsatisfied with the environment in those ways. read more

My friend made an appointment for a massage for two in the double room and arrived on time. While waiting for me to arrive they took two women in as walk ins. As they walked my friend and I back they tried to give us separate rooms. When my friend told them we had an appointment for a double room, they had us wait while they asked the other two women to vacate the room. Not only did the tall Asian man act rude and disrespectful to us, they put us in a cruddy position and treated the other two women poorly. It made it super difficult to relax then on top of that the smell of their lunch being heated up mixed with aroma candles was nauseating. We had decided to stay, the massage was good but the whole experience had such a negative undertone I wouldn't return. Sorry to the other two women, it was an awful deal all the way around. read more

My wife took me to this place for a massage and it sucked! It was the weirdest massage ever I felt like it was done by someone who was not professionally trained anywhere. I have had massages in many different places in the world including china and this place is so far below any thing I have come to expect. This is the WORST massage experience we ever had. The people did our massage are NOT professional by all means. We felt like we were beaten up the entire time. We do not feel relaxed at all. It was so bad I had to cancel the second half of my massage and end up getting overcharged. With that all the horrible things, we didn't tip. I really like this place. I find it to be a good value for the price. The ambiance is not anything special & last time I was there, it smelled like someone was cooking chinese food in the back but it could have been the chinese restaurant that is a few doors down (and also very good and reasonable, by the way). If you want a fancy spa, then this ain't the place for you. It's pretty bare minimum in terms of decor. But the people are very, very nice & helpful. They really want you to have a relaxing experience. It is very clean and quiet; although the private rooms can run a bit on the cool side. I have had two massages (one 60 minute foot massage and one full body) from Lisa & while I like her, I do have to say that she can be a bit rough. but she gets the kinks out! Had one other 30 min foot massage at He's Spa (in other words, I have had 3 massages at He's Spa over the past 3 months since I first discovered it). I think the gal's name was Pam. She was also a strong masseuse but not as rough as Lisa. I will def. go back and will see if I can get an appt w/ Pam. Please note that the masseuse's don't speak very good English. read more

I was in need of an emergency full body massage. I am here for training and sitting all day, did not help. I called and was able to get in within the hour. As soon as she started working in my back, I sank into the table and became relaxed. She visited my lower back several times as this was what brought me to "emergency". Nothing helps me relax more than a good foot massage. I am always on the lookout for new places to try that are budget friendly but also clean and respectable. I tried this place in Paso with my husband on a Friday morning when they just opened. I called prior to make sure there would be more than one person to accommodate both of us and after a little bit of a language barrier, just decided to drive there in person. It is a small space but they do well to make it relaxing. Overall the massage was great, we opted for the 60 minute foot massage which came with back and shoulder massage as well. The only issue we both had was that both of our therapists whispered to each other in their native language for a solid 20 minutes. I found it hard to relax listening to chatter, even in a whisper form. For the price they charge, it was fine but I will continue my quest for a good foot massage around here. read more

I tried this place for the first time yesterday and must say it was the best massage I ever had! The lady actually cared to work out the several knots in my back, and although it was a bit painful/intense at times, she made the effort to actually fix the problems - which is why I wanted a massage in the first place. If you want a peaceful, relaxing massage, I would recommend the foot massage as it is not as intense. But - if you have persistent tightness/knots that you actually want worked out - the full body massage is amazing. I am pretty sore today, but in a good way. Highly recommend. I really like this place for a nice relaxing foot rub. The massage women however seem quite moody and unfriendly, and even angry. My husband and I tip pretty well and it just doesn't seem good enough for a lot of them. The last time I was there the energy was really bad and my massage lady was rude. I will say most of them do a nice job and work very hard. read more

A friend invited me to get a massage at Hes Spa in Paso, which we love and have gone before, but today I was a bit taken back and having me thinking if I shouldn't go back. Whenever I go, I get the 60 min foot massage; it feels amazing. My friend and I asked for the same thing, however, while they were giving us the message they asked what type of massage we wanted, and I said uhmmmm the foot massage (which they knew already since our feet were soaking already) and she says "okay, it will be $40". I told her isn't it $30 your prices say it's $30 (the huge poster at entrance says it) to which she replies "no $40". My friend said it's okay I'm paying don't worry. They finish, my friend and I kind of talk that today it wasn't as good as before, but oh well, my friend goes to pay, signs the receipt, and we start for the door. Now here is when I taken back, when we head for the door, the man who charged her said something to the ones that gave us the massage, the two ladies start calling for us saying "hey lady, tip, tip". One of the girls held the door closed preventing us from walking out, in Spanish telling us "propina", I asked what was wrong and she tells me she wants a tip because she did a good job massaging us. Uhm what!?? They blocked the exit as if we were leaving without paying, I told them sorry I don't have change, and I wouldn't want to after how they were treating us. Now usually I do leave them tip, because they do do a good job, but I didn't have cash and my friend was paying, I wasn't going to tell her make sure you leave tip. They already charged us $10 more than what it should have been and now they were basically hustling us for a tip! Seeing how they weren't letting us out without giving them a tip, my friend looked through her purse, thankfully found $7, when she said that's all the cash she had, they snatched it from her hands and moved away from the door. I did NOT like that at all to say the least. That's never happened to me, ever or any where, it made us feel embarrassed like we did something wrong. I don't think I'll be going back for a while. Sorry for the long rant, but I mean ... what!!!?? Who does that?? read more

Hmmm - unsure how this establishment has received any 5 star reviews. Bf and I went in requesting 1 hour foot massages. Women clearly weren't professionally trained or passionate about what they do. They were just going through the motions. Basic rubbing w/ no idea how to do any real therapeutic work. Please don't bother working on any knots if you don't know how to address them properly. I'm a massage therapist for 10+ years so I am in a position to review accurately. 1 hour foot massage (10 min spent on feet maybe?) consisted of mostly body massage. I expect to receive more than just foot massage at these types of places - but don't advertise foot massage when you only get 10 minutes. Pressure was a 4 on a 10 scale. Overall complete waste of money!!! Ugh read more

Excellent!! I have never had a bad massage here. I used to request Lisa all of the time I came in (she is fabulous and I would highly recommend her) but she wasn't available one of the times, and I still ended up with another outstanding massage. Now I just let fate take over and haven't been disappointed yet! The one thing I would say is tip well! These ladies work really hard and I am assuming by their low prices, don't make a ton of money. I hope I'm wrong, but I feel a lot better giving them a big, nice tip for all their hard work! I make it a point to go once a month and HIGHLY recommend it! read more

Went to He Spa for the first time today. It's true that the massage style here is not for the faint of heart. It can hurt a bit, but who wants a wimpy massage?! I came out feeling GREAT! She hit all the right spots and definitely knew what she was doing. The only (small) negative is the language barrier with the person at the front desk- the owner, I believe. It's difficult to book over the phone and there isn't much instruction once you get in the treatment room. But, those small inconveniences were certainly worth the fantastic massage. read more

I have gone to He's in the past and thought the foot massage was wonderful a bit painful sometimes but that is what's needed for sore muscles. The last time was just an awful experience. I went back last week to give them another chance because it used to be pretty good. I had the guy at the front desk, John I believe. His nails are so long they dug into my skin, some of the rubbings were odd and had nothing to do with a massage, maybe he was bored and daydreaming of something else. So when I went back last week I made sure not to have him do my massage. A lady did my massage and sure enough long nails digging into my skin I really wanted it to stop, I'm really not sure why I continued to be tortured with her nails, I really should have requested a refund. So if you want to have fingernails torture you this is your place! read more

I really love how affordable this place is, quite, clean, nice calming music. I could wish for a little aromatherapy. The quality of the massage does reflect the price though, they do hit the spine, or put pressure in odd places sometimes. I preger the food massage to the body because of that. My only complaint is the body massage table in back isn't very comfortable to place my neck in , it doesn't tilt at all and with a bad neck it's kinda uncomfortable I will for sure be back and try the foot and body massages ! read more
