Lots of easily identifiable staff wearing bright blue shirts to answer questions and check their phones to see if they have that unusual plant you are looking for. Brandi was great in directing me to several varieties I didn't see and even checked me out. I never felt rushed even though the place was buzzing. They had plenty of staff. He agreed to help me out and was so positive to deal with even though it was a large amount of stuff for him to haul. I asked about the business and he said he and his brother are excited to continue the business with their dad who has been around for 32 years. I couldn't believe how nice and willing he was to help me! I'm looking forward to visiting their nursery to get plants for my new yard. The water hyacinths were a couple of dollars less than the sad looking ones at the other place, and the couple of plants I got were priced at below what I would have paid at a big box store. I would always rather support a local business. I also remember from when I was younger that they do nice special events here such as Santa photos during the holidays. The staff takes pictures of my withered plant and send them to the owner and the owner tells from the pictures whether or not the plant is fully dead and can be exchanged. The poor staff member was so apologetic about the situation and was clearly embarrassed when she was told not to honor my warranty. This is a $50 lesson I won't soon forget. The owner does not honor their warranty unless the plant is "fully dead."

As a novice, I'll be sticking with Martin's (which is overpriced, but part of what one pays for is the well educated botanist advice, the high quality plants, and the correct representation of local perennials).
