I recently purchased a large screen TV and had them installed it. The company delivered it on the date that it was promised. The installers were terrific. They were very polite and professional and were exceptionally clean while installing the TV. It was programmed to my exsisting cable box and was working within several minutes. Came to my house, installed a refrigerator, failed to check the water line. Leaked for hours causing considerable damage and inconvenience and are now failing to take ownership for what they did. On the day of they were all apologies, by the next day it was all denial. They did not so much as come out and look at the damage. For several days I was told that they were getting in touch with their insurance company. By the time they did my own insurance company had already arranged for a restoration company to begin their work 24 hours prior. I'd used them several times in the past and been happy with them, steered business their way. Its unfortunate that when they made such an easily avoidable error they chose to lie about what they did. Lying I detest. I suggest avoiding this company at all costs. When things go wrong they will not do the right thing. read more

Refrigerator died two day's Ibefore family coming for holiday weekend. Called around hoping to find someone. Voss not only worked with me to get new refrigerator. They even delivered the next day. I have dealt with appliance stores in past, Voss was by far the most professional and personable, will be going back any time I need an appliance. read more

My husband and I went to Voss for a refrigerator. We were in the showroom for 15 minutes and then had to search for someone to help us. Tracy helped us find a refrigerator to meet our needs. She suggested we go home to remeasure the area so we did. She said either she or Rick would be glad to help us. I called her within the hour and left a message for Rick since he was with a customer. I waited 4 days and called and talked to Tracy again. She assured me she would find us a refrigerator and call me back. It has now been 4 more days and NOTHING! It is hard to be without a refrigerator. Is it that our needs are too trivial? Is it easy to ignore senior citizens? I don't get it! read more

I'm still waiting on a cooktop.... The one they ordered took 6 weeks to get and set up delivery. When it came the installers said it wouldn't fit, took some info, suggested that I could have them use the jigsaw in the van to cut my custom counters and drop my stove and maybe it would work!? They took that one back. After a couple weeks owner Rick said he'd work something up and nothing yet. He's got a cooktop that's paid for and I'm not sure if he's even order me something that will work. He doesn't call back. read more

Excellent. We met with Matt who spent 2 hours going over every item we are purchasing for a redo in our kitchen. He has been easy to communicate with. He had all the answers to our questions. Great family business with a range in appliances, including Viking and Miele. . I would definitely choose this over the monopoly stores and big box stores if they have what you need. read more

Voss appliance has good prices but their service is terrible. It is not worth the savings!

My elderly parents had to buy a washer in a rush. Rick told the time to show them what they wanted and patiently explained everything to them. He went out of his way to accommodate their disabilities which was massive brownie points in my book. His prices were very reasonable and his delivery is amazing. Not only do they deliver the merchandise, they bring all new hoses, install it, show you how to use it, and remove your old one. If you are helping seniors make a purchase this is the place to take them! read more

Shopped around for a new gas range and microwave. Covid has created a hole in the supply chain that many models on display are not in stock and on back order. This made my quest difficult as I decided on a make and model but couldn't get it. I checked at least 6 appliance stores and only Voss had the make and model I wanted but most importantly at the BEST PRICE of any of the places I looked. They promptly delivered the stove and microwave the next few days. The delivery men were terrific. They installed without a scratch to my hardwood floors or bumping anything. They expertly hooked up the gas range and the new slim profile microwave with no problem. They were conscientious to clean up every bit of boxes and packing debris and hauled away our old appliances with ease. I will always shop at Voss for all future major appliance purchases. They are without question the best in Pittsburgh! read more

Yelp removed my previous comment because (someone requested it) yelp said there was not enough information was provided in my review so it violated their policy so I wanted to rewrite with everything that happened. On September 25th we placed an order with Matt for pans for the steam oven we purchased through Voss. Around 12/8 I contacted Matt about the pans inquiring when we would get them they sent us an invoice and had us pay $25 extra for shipping which the pans were already overpriced. 12/17 we were sent the incorrect racks and informed Matt immediately. On 1/7 I emailed Matt to ask when they would get the correct trays so we could switch the incorrect for the correct trays he said he would have them tomorrow and wanted to set up a day the owner (Rick) who frequents the area could pick them up. 1/11 Matt asked if Wednesday 1/13 worked I said yes between 11am-8pm he said okay. Around 8pm Rick called and said he was late and asked if we could reschedule and i said okay. He never contacted us to reschedule. 1/18 I emailed Matt requesting a full refund and they could pick up the incorrect pans when it was convenient for them. 2/2 Matt apologized and asked for our credit card information which I replied no to because we paid by check. 2/6 we sent a very upset email because it still had not been resolved which Matt replied that Rick (the owner) would bring us a check and pick up the pans on Monday. 2/8 Matt asked what number to give Rick to call when he was here which he already had from previous call to reschedule the initial pick up but I gave it to him anyways Rick never showed up! 2/10 I emailed Matt and asked him to mail me a check for the full amount and he said the secretary would mail the next day but then she called out sick which he notified me of which was fine. 2/16 was the set pick up date by FedEx for the pans but I initially told Matt I needed the check first which he said I should receive Monday or Tuesday prior to pick up. The check never came so we did not send the pans. After that we left a message with the secretary told her everything that has happened and that we needed to speak to Rick. It was late so he called the next day left a voice mail and said he would be there until 4pm. We called around 3:30 asked for Rick and the secretary said he was not in but once we gave her the name to leave a message he was magically still there. He told us we were sent a check and it must have got lost in the mail. He told us he would be there tonight to get the pans and give us a check. Which does not fix all the trouble we have gone through to sum it up after telling him from a business owners standpoint letting the customer keep the incorrect pans and giving them their check back should have been the solution that is what Rick agreed to do. Also we ordered the pans from the manufacturer saved $100 and received free 2 day shipping. read more

I have purchased 7 appliances from this store over the last 5 years, and am happy with the quality. Getting 3 stars because I was told that there was a $125 rebate with my last purchase. Never received it. Called Voss 6 times over the past year. Always promised "we will look into it". Never a follow up phone call and no rebate. I feel like this was a promise made to get me to buy, while no rebate actually existed. Disappointing. read more
