If you ever see her around Dolores, I would recommend trying the brownies or Oreo Rice Krispies, but everything tastes good. We had Christa do the cookies for our wedding... the other vendors we chose were Thoroughbread Bakery and Nopalito. Both Nopalito and Thoroughbread were amazing, but I have to say, people RAVED about the cookies! Multiple guests approached me during the wedding and for weeks after, saying how amazing her cookies were. Christa's cookies are just the right mix of chewy-ness and sweetness, with bright, cheerful packaging - it's a full sensory treat. it was just a regular saturday at Dolores Park --a silver robot was groovin' (and had been doing so for HOURS without rest), random dudes were rapping, a well-endowed lady was belly dancing and the truffle guy was making his rounds-- UNTIL some lady in a cute uniform came along with a basket full of the most delicious cookies i've ever had! there's something about this cookie that is "just right". i'm not sure what she puts in there but the sweetness is very distinct (in a good way) from other cookies. it has a balanced texture -- chewy, but soft. AND, she sells them in a variety of different flavors. my boyfriend and i ended up having the oreo cookie aka a regular sugar cookie with OREOS on top. Freaking amazing. the rice krispy was equally mind-blowing. whether you're considering making a huge order or just spot her one day somewhere in the city, i'd def recommend trying her cookies/baked goods for yourself. gotta support our local bakers! read more

Cookie is amazing! Her cookies are always freshly baked (no more than a few hours old) and her brownies are world class. She uses real chocolate in the brownies and somehow manages to get flakey top of pure deliciousness on each one. She is always radiant and walking around dolores park or in the bars in the mission. Who: Christa, the completely adorable owner of Hey, Cookie What: Cookie catering for 50 people for a 30th birthday party. There were 150 assorted cookies, and all of them were AMAZING. My personal favorites were the Mexican wedding cookie, the brownie, and the raspberry bar. When: Saturday, October 13 at 1 pm. I only gave her a week and half notice for the order, and she had no problem with that! She also was very flexible about the pickup time and let me change it around a couple of times as my schedule changed. Where: Pickup at Philz Coffee in Noe Valley, though I think she also delivers and hangs out in Dolores Park. Why: The cookies were INCREDIBLE, and Christa is unbelievably sweet!!! She is very responsive by email and phone and SO friendly and upbeat. I didn't actually meet her because I had friends pick up the cookies, but they said she was adorable. All of the cookies were delicious, and everyone at my party loved them. Her price was very reasonable and would have been totally worth it even if it wasn't.
