Custom music-inspired cookies for a private party.

5+ Stars for my favorite cookie lady...ever! I am obsessed with Christa the cookie lady, and her delicious sweet treats. For a couple years she's been present at our company parties with baskets of her yummy cookies, and TBH, she's one of my favorite reasons for coming to SF each year. Christa's baked goods are off the charts yummy, and she has an amazing variety of delicious cookies. I've tried so many I can't remember them all. From toffee to chocolate chip, flourless peanut butter to Oreo rice crispy goodies, to beautiful soft...moist...sugary sweet specialty shaped guitar sugar cookies (peep the pics). I'm so happy to know Christa has a brick and mortar pop up now...I think I read in another review that it's new in 2018. Regardless, she's as cute and sweet as her cookies. Her cookie passion is infectious, and I hope you get the opportunity to support her business. Note: She also has makes gluten free cookies.

Rice Krispy and cookie Assortment for my brother's 30th birthday

Christa provided outstanding service. I live on the East Coast but I wanted to surprise my brother, who lives in SF, for his thirtieth birthday. I am so glad that I stumbled upon Hey, Cookie's website. I was immediately sold after I saw that the cookies were homemade and the reviews were so overwhelmingly positive. I do not often write reviews but this was an occasion that certainly warranted it! Not only did Christa travel downtown (where parking can be a challenge) to deliver cookies to my brother but as you can see from the photo, she recruited other people near and around the office to join in on singing Happy Birthday to him. She also took photos and a short video for me because she knew that I would want to see the surprised look on his face once he realized that it was from me. Christa was so warm and pleasant to work with and the price was so reasonable, I gave her the extra money I was planning to spend anyway as an added thank you. I only wish that I lived closer so that I could use her services more often. Hopefully, she will start to ship her treats soon! If you want to give someone a wonderful (and tasty) gift and have a great customer service experience, I would not hesitate to hire Hey, Cookie! Thank you again!

Mint chocolate chip cookie and Oreo rice krispie

Had my first encounter with Hey, Cookie when my hungry friend overheard a woman yelling about "no pot cookies" at Dolores Park! The treats were 1 for $3 or 2 for $5, which means that they have either unfortunately raised their prices or the service of carrying a tray of delectables up and down the hill was built into the price. They had a large, unique variety of baked goods including rice krispie treats, chocolate chip cookies, Butterfinger cookies, and more. We got an Oreo rice krispie treat and a mint chocolate chip cookie, both of which did not skimp on the toppings. I liked that the rice krispie had big chunks of Oreo in it and there were lots of chopped up Andes mints on the cookie. But the cookie itself was pretty thin (almost to the point that it seemed like they were trying to save cookie dough). And while the treats had that wonderful homemade taste, they didn't stand out to me. However, the service was fantastic - the woman was really friendly and even gave my friend a free cookie when she overheard it was her birthday. Hey, Cookie has a good thing going and I'm definitely a fan of a place that delivers tasty goodies to Dolores Park goers!

Hands down sweetest (no pun intended) person I have ever met. Have been enjoying her cookies for more than a year now and they never disappoint. The cookies are packed with more flavor than most cookies I have ever tasted in my life. Christa, the Cookie Queen, serves many flavors of cookies as well as her own recipe for rice crispies. My favorites are the mint chocolate chip cookies and oreo rice crispies. Always happy to see her at Dolores Park and now even happier that she has a new pop-up near 18th and Mission. If you're looking for some of the tastiest treats in the Bay and a great conversation to brighten up your day, try Hey, Cookie!

I was in shock, when I saw that I hadn't written a review for Hey, Cookie! First of all, Christa is absolutely amazing and a joy to deal with. She has an infectious passion for cookies and who am I to argue with that? Besides being an incredible baker and business woman, she's the nicest person you will ever meet. I've had the pleasure of enjoying her delicious cookies at various Yelp Events and I always luv seeing people's expressions after they eat one of Christa's cookies. They have a look of pure joy on their faces. We asked her to cater for a 110 person event at our downtown office and when we reached-out to her, she was on vacation. I was super bummed to get the notification, since that meant I would have to find an alternate snack. However, to my surprise, Christa contacts us and tells us she's returning the day before our event and that she'd have time to make her cookies for us. I've been literally waiting all day today for Christa to arrive with her amazing cookies. Of course, she's early and has that big smile as she walk onto the floor. She has 3 large trays of heaven with her, all neatly wrapped in a red ribbon. Her cookies are the perfect size, especially if you want to enjoy 1 or 2 or 3. Hey, don't judge! I truly luv all of her cookies, but I think I'm partial to the Chocolate Mint, Snickerdoodle, Rice Krispie Treat, Classic Chocolate Chip, Delectable Brownie................oh heck, I luv all them. When it comes to Hey, Cookie!, I have no control!!!!

I was referred to Hey, Cookie! from my manager since I was in charge of ordering treats for the office. Christa is such a sweetheart! She responded to my request even though she was on vacation. A coworker and I jokingly said she must be a princess or fairy from her previous life. She literally made my day when she arrived to the office with the cookies. The cookies were soo delicious! Christa is THE BEST!!!!! I live in San Diego and wanted a special birthday present for my chocolate loving sister in San Francisco. Had the pleasure of eating several of Christa's cookies today, and it was $5 well spent. We tried the toffee cookie and the Oreo rice crispie treat, and both were delicious. (Although, to be fair, it's not hard to win me over with toffee!) Christa is adorable carrying a basket around to sell cookies, and I will definitely consider using hey, cookie! in the future for parties or gifts. read more

I recently got married and wanted to serve something a bit more fun than traditional wedding cake. My husband and I have been fans of Hey Cookie! for some time, so asked Christa to cater desserts. Not only did she work with us to create a menu of the most delicious sweet treats, she also set up the table in the most beautiful way AND passed the cookies in her signature style. Needed to send a thank you gift up to a business partner in San Francisco and rather than send something from a nameless/faceless plastic wrapped company I went on the hunt for someone local and as usual, Yelp paid off big time. Christa is amazing! I ordered a batch of cookies for my boyfriend's birthday. She was so prompt with responding, and getting back to me quickly. I really appreciate how attentive she is, and really was careful with the batch I asked for in regards to my boyfriend's nut allergies. Searching for inspired cookies has become a new passion and pastime, and today I experienced 'bliss' when I bit into a chocolate chip, then an oatmeal raisin fresh out of Christa's oven. What separates an ordinary cookie from an inspired, mouthwatering baked piece of heaven? I can only guess, but having met this 'All American' wizard of sugar and heat, it appears that true passion and devotion are what drives this young entrepreneur. No storefront, or even truck for Christa, but the willingness to become a pub crawling, one cookie at a time, person to person plus private parties and charity events. I don't mean to be harsh, but don't understand all of the 5 star reviews; selling cookies in Dolores is awesome, the price is right, the quirky outfits are fun, but the cookies themselves are pretty mediocre. There are so many other places in SF that I would go to for cookies before Hey Cookie (for instance Anthony's, Doughbies, and Batter). read more

She baked a large order of cookies with an artfully large rice krispie letter at the center of her cookie masterpiece on short notice. She also personally delivered the order to my husband's office for his birthday. He was very surprised, and everyone at the office loved the cookies. nothing, that's right nothing will brighten your day more than seeing the lovely christa and all of her amazing cookie creations in the park on a saturday afternoon. i know the cookies are the selling point here but let me start by saying that christa is a sweet as the cookie she makes. her cheerful demeanor and amazing outfits will make anyone smile...go and add cookies to the mix and you have a match made in sf heaven. i'm a vegan and christa usually has at least one option for me...her mexican wedding cookies are so so so awesome. i know my friends have tried a number of her other baking stylings and every last one was a hit. do yourselves a favor the next time you see this lovely lady on the streets of san francisco....BUY HER COOKIES!! you will be all smiles. read more

I first found Hey, Cookie! at Dolores Park hawking her delicious treats in an adorable drindle. How can you NOT buy her treats? Since then, she's catered two events at my office for different events and each time has been flawless. Her treats are delicious, festive and affordable. She's on her game - following up when she needs to, always confirms and is a great communicator. Christa was amazing! She was easy to contact and more than willing to go above and beyond to create a great experience. I had an unusual request that she was able to carry out perfectly. The cookie display was gorgeous (I am a baker myself, so I have high standards). I was told by my brother, who I had cookies delivered to, that he set the cookies in the kitchen, sent out an email to his co-workers, came back five minutes later, and they were ALL gone! My brother's phrasing regarding the delivery was, "a net positive transaction." My brother is an engineer, so this is a great review by engineer-speak. YOU"LL BE THE PARTY FAVORITE if you bring these cookies to your next party! I was having a really busy week leading up to my Yoga teacher training graduation party and I knew I wasn't going to have time to make anything and I couldn't possibly show up with store bought cookies so I emailed The Cookie Lady. She was so sweet and professional in her emails and happy to give me 2 trays of cookies!!!!! The cookies went faster than anything else! Totally amazing experience! My husband and I live on the east coast and we were at a total loss what to do for the birthday of our son, who lives and works in San Francisco. When I googled some last minute options, I was intrigued by Hey Cookie, a service that has a sweet cookie lady deliver fresh baked cookies within San Francisco. The Hey Cookie idea sounded yummy and fun. I called Hey Cookie on Sunday morning at 9 am (PT) and was expecting to leave a voicemail. Instead, I was greeted by a very friendly, cheery cookie lady named Christa, who is the business owner. She assured me that she could accommodate an order for Monday and deliver a delicious cookie assortment to my son's office. At precisely the time promised, she arrived and made quite a presentation complete with hat and noisemaker for the birthday boy while singing happy birthday! It was perfect. My son was surprised and said it was fun and the cookies were delicious. Christa even sent me a video of the festivities. The video was an unexpected treat and the "icing on the cookie" so to speak. My only disappointment was that my husband and I couldn't be there in person to partake in the delicious goodies. Next time, we will be. read more

mmmMMMMMMmmmm! these cookies are amazing and the perfect thing to satisfy my sweet tooth when im out. my favorite is the chocolate chip cookies and the brownies. christa knows how to bake her sweets to that perfect gooey consistency. she gets it right every time! i also really admire christas possitive and creative attitude. she is 100% a true artist who took her spare time and turned it into something productive. she makes people happy with her sweets, her cute costumes, and friendly face. you cant go wrong with hey cookie! read more

Christa is wonderful! I wanted to suprise my brother who lives in San Francisco (I live in England), for his birthday. Not knowing what to get I came across Hey,Cookie on Google. After emailing Christa I got a response almost right away. She was so helpful and super friendly. My brother got his delivery today, was very suprised and happy! Like most places in this genre, A Buttercup is small, modern, and minimalist with limited seating. If you plan to go, aim for off-hours unless you enjoy waiting in line for sugar. The decor is cute and trendy, perfect for photos if that's part of your dessert ritual. As they say, "you eat with your eyes first," and when it comes to presentation, this place definitely gets an A+. The desserts look stunning and set high expectations. Unfortunately, that's where things started to crumble. It's like going to see your favorite artist live. You've watched the videos, memorized the songs, and paid for the experience. But instead of the electric performance you imagined, you get someone lip-syncing and barely connecting with the crowd. That was this place in dessert form. We ordered the Mango Bingsoo on our first visit, and when it arrived, we were surprised by how small the portion was. The guy next to us even looked over and said, "Whatever that is, I'm getting that next time." He shouldn't have. The Bingsoo looked great but was bland, and the "snow" was more chunky ice than soft shave. The Thai Tea Roti was also not what I expected. It came with Thai tea ice cream and sauce alongside a roti that was fried to a crunch. Interesting idea, just not the best execution. The sauce and ice cream needed a stronger Thai tea flavor to balance the crispy roti, and the flavors never quite came together. Overall, A Buttercup nails the aesthetics but misses the flavor. If you're here for the photos, you'll be happy. If you're here for the taste, you'll leave with a full camera roll and an unsatisfied sweet tooth.

With most cookies, I usually can only tolerate having a few bites, or need to have a coffee in hand to enjoy it, but I didn't feel like that was the case here: both treats were delicious. Overall, I would definitely stop by Dandelion Chocolate again if I'm looking for a well-crafted, sweet treat.

Thankfully the line moved fairly fast, and when I got close to the front, I saw that they allow three samples per person to keep customers moving. The store is larger than it looks with some seating along the sides and back. I opted a small cup of the lychee black tea and auntie Kendra's garden. The lychee black tea was INCREDIBLE, strong, strong tea and fruit flavor, perfectly creamy, and not too sweet. The more memorable of the two, however, was definitely Auntie Kendra. It was a vanilla base with salty plum juice, passion fruit, and preserved lemon peel. The delicate vanilla, the lemon aroma without the sour tang, the floral, exotic passion fruit, and the unexpected punch of salt and earthiness from the plum juice, this is a WHOPPER of a flavor. Every bite allowed me a new appreciation of the layers of flavors in this scoop. While a bit pricy, Garden creamery is on par with the other local ice cream spots in SF and well, the flavors and my enjoyment of them speak for themselves. I will definitely be making more trips out here to try their other flavors!

We were helped by a female staff member around 2 PM, and she seemed very unfriendly. When I politely asked for a cup, she just stared at me for a moment without saying anything, then turned around to grab one. A simple smile or "of course" would have made a big difference. As a young person, I can easily brush off that kind of attitude. But it made me feel sad for my 90-year-old grandfather, who deserves to be treated with warmth and kindness. Customer service isn't just about getting the order right, it's about making people feel welcome, especially elderly customers. The food is consistently great, but I hope the customer service can improve to match the quality of what they serve.

The pastries are all flaky and crispy, and you can tell they were crafted by a true craftsman. I think what makes Juniper so special is the selection of unique flavors they have. My favorite being their award-winning Cubano croissant, their black sesame kouign amann, and their choux pastries. I do want to call out how much I appreciate the amount of savory pastries they have since I don't always want a sweet treat the moment I wake up. To note, Juniper is typically busy, but I have never waited in line for more than 10 minutes, even on weekends. They also have a lot of tables for seating, but because of the flow of people, it might be difficult to find a spot. Stop by here if you're around the area! They are also a sister shop of Saint Frank, so you can get some coffee while you're here as well.

The interior is more industrial and small and definitely more of a grab and go, or sit down for a quick few bites type of vibe. My friend and i got a few things to try, but the standouts were the mulberry danish, and the kimchi bacon Danish. All the pastries were crisp, with many buttery layers and were clearly well made but these two had the most flavor and stood out as offerings that are a bit more unique compared to other bakeries in the city. We also tried the black sesame kouign amann, which was more reminiscent of a morning bun type pastry, and the cubano and the ham and cheese croissants, which were good but just lacking a little in flavor. Overall, Juniper has excellent pastries, and I'll definitely be sure to grab a plain croissant next time to try it out as well - some pastries pack a bit more flavor than others but given how quickly the like moves I'll definitely be back again to try some of their othering offerings soon!

The Mexican Wedding Cookie is fantastic. For me it was an exceptionally postiive cookie eating experience... but I had some curious experiences a few days later. First, my friend looked me in the face, took off her glasses, and shouted, "YOU'RE GONNA GET MARRIED!" Clear out of the blue. Within a week 3 people said they wanted to marry me.
