We have never dined inside, however, the drive-thru at times can be busy. Also, be sure to pay attention when going thru the drive-thru as it is very narrow. Again, it's Schlotzsky's. Her exact explanation was that she "only had 4 more rolls." She would not remake the sandwich, would not replace the bread, and would not even let me PAY for an extra piece of bread. When I showed her the sandwich and asked how I was supposed to eat it, she sarcastically told me to "put the bread back on the sub and eat it." The most unbelievable part was the refund. After refusing to replace a piece of bread or remake a clearly defective sandwich, I was offered a refund. When I went to the register, I was refunded exactly $1.00 on a $36.00 order and handed a receipt showing the refund amount. At that point it felt less like customer service and more like I was being mocked. The issue wasn't the damaged bread. Mistakes happen. The issue was the complete refusal to fix a very obvious problem, the dismissive attitude, the sarcastic response, and then the insulting $1 refund afterward. I've always thought Firehouse Subs was known for good customer service, but this experience was the exact opposite. Management should review how customer concerns are being handled at this location because this was unacceptable.

That part wasn't a big deal, because Lockhart has a smaller population and that store has been in the same location for a long time. I went in to grab some flowers to bring to a local friend of mine, that invited TV (The Villain, my husband Ray) over for a BBQ. I was also going to grab strawberry shortcake fixin's. I went to pick out flowers and half of the selection was wilted. There was a young lady vacuuming the floral section, that clearly saw me waiting to peruse the rest of the flowers. She took her sweet a$$ time vacuuming. I patiently waited. When she was finished, she shot me a snotty irritated look. I'm not sure if she was mad that she had to vacuum or that I patiently waited. This is NOT the customer service I'm use to receiving from HEB! That was the first time I saw an HEB employee unhappy to be working at HEB! I was as confused as a fart in a fan factory! Not to mention that they couldn't balance my tires because the ONLY person that does it, called in that day. Then, they made me pay the $40 of "road hazard protection warranty" even though I am a Walmart+ member and it was already included with the installation. I called the San Marcos store and they told me they accepted walk-ins but because I already had an appointment, IT WOULD ONLY TAKE LESS THAN AN HOUR, to balance my tires. I left Lockhart, risking my life with half work done, to the second nearest Walmart in San Marcos, so they could balance them. When I arrived at San Marcos, I told them everything that happened. They said it was negligent from the other store to even offer me to install my tires if they were not going to balance them. That it was dangerous to drive with tires unbalanced. And they also told me that Lockhart couldn't do it because they ran out of weights, meaning I was also lied to. They went ahead and refunded the $40 I paid but it appeared that my balancing appointment at Lockhart WAS CANCELLED by the store. So, they accommodated me in. The worst part is, i waited 5 HOURS to finally get my tires balanced. NO ONE NEEDS TO WAIT THAT LONG FOR A 1 HOUR SERVICE. They didn't offer anything to make it better, they just said it was unfair to me and that was it. Very unprofessional, negligent and this is unforgivable. I hope management sees this and make necessary changes to the way they manage their automotive services. A total of 7 HOURS it took to install and balance my tires. UNBELIEVABLE!
