My love for Einstein Bros started in college, when I'd stop by for a classic ham & cheese bagel sandwich on Asiago. I'm still the same girlie who can't resist it a good sandwich, especially one involving eggs. After finding one in the area, the magic is gone... Not sure on other locations, but the one in Kyle is HORRENDOUS. I waited an insanely long time for a simple ham & cheese bagel sandwich, while four customers who arrived after me were served first. The staff apologized but offered no real courtesy, despite seven employees behind the counter. Great location, much needed morning option in Kyle. I've been waiting for this excitedly. I ordered ahead on the app and glad I did, they were slammed inside. The to go orders are on shelves and you can just walk in and pick yours up. From my photo you can see that there's some quality control issues and they're rushed. The bagel wasn't as thick as I'm used to from Einstein's but it tastes as it should. The iced coffee was strong and on point like usual! The interior is really nice and fresh. That experience was definitely because I didn't personally have to deal with the staff or oddly long wait like I experienced in store today. Took a bit for someone to take my order, although 2 employees walked right by me. There seemed to be only 3 people working, which is either a reflection of the work environment or t a company too cheap to allocate funds to labor costs. Either way- at least saying "hey, we will be right with you" can go a long way. When ordering giving a heads up "It may take about 15minutes to make your one sandwich". I ordered the Veg Out bagel without tomatoes, but it came with tomatoes, and the cucumbers tasted extremely bitter. My boyfriend had the Bacon Avocado Tomato bagel, which was alright. Employees are nice and the food is alright but god almighty this is the slowest Einstein bagel I've ever been to. It takes them 20+ minutes to make a sandwich that would take me 3 minutes to make at home and it's every single time I've been. When I was a kid, I had some sort of record for literally eating a bowl of cereal every day for 8 years (until I started high school wrestling). I'm the expert on sugary cereals but other than cereal I've always hated breakfast. Don't get me wrong when I train for running half marathons I gnaw on bananas and oatmeal b/c I need the energy. Point being I have preferences and breakfast isn't one of them. That said when I'm not dieting, I love bagels. Fast forward to a lazy Aug morning I was driving and noticed Einstein Bros had opened I was really excited. I'm not sure why it took so long for Kyle or anywhere close to me to get an Einstein Bros. I really love options and this is a great addition to the community. That said the location is easily accessible and clean as it was just built while getting out of the parking lot can be a bit "wonky." They just opened so I will say some of the "kids" and not being disrespectful but the very young people working there need a lesson in how to interact with customers. While at the store there wasn't a line or anything but the teen wasn't listening to my very simple order, was condescending and was overall very unpleasant as if I'm fortunate to be talking to her. Other than the experience was normal and smooth as one would expect. I'm in IT and when I lived in Kansas City we'd have huge meetings and someone would always bring in either donuts, bagels, or Kolaches (ahem Kolache factory needed here). I feel in love with a couple of their bagels and cream cheese combos and sometimes during meetings I would eat two. I mention that because one bagel and cream cheese is enough for most humans. Two combos I love are either a blueberry or normal bagel with the honey almond schmear. When I popped this combo in my mouth it was heaven. The bagels were slightly chewy while the blueberry had a nice spike of berries, both full of flavor and the cream cheese added a subtle sweetness and dinky crunch of almonds. They were very good and weren't old as if they've been laying around. My kid wanted something sweeter so I suggested the apple cinnamon bagel with strawberry cream cheese. This was a wonderful combo and she tore it up. That said, I've never had some of their other bagel delicacies such as Nova Lox (Salmon) with onions and capers or jalapeno cheddar bagels but some people I know swear by them. As I said before I'm not big on breakfast but a lot of people love their options with ham & Swiss with egg sandwich being mentioned the most. Einstein Bros does a good job in offering all sorts of creative and quality breakfast items to satisfy those morning cravings. Also, their coffees are really good as well thus completing a good kick to start your day. Overall, Einstein Bros is a chain so the same sort of experience you get one place will closely resemble everywhere else. This establishment doesn't disappoint in terms of food however they still need a little time to get everything down. If you're in the mood for fresh bagels I highly encourage giving them a shot as it's a tasty endeavor. read more

Long waits right now since it's a new place in Kyle. Overall good quality bagels. I did recently came back from NYC and was craving a good bagel...these were decent. Not exceptional but I do love their flavored whipped cream cheeses. Will definitely be back but my quality and flavor expectations are more of a restaurant chain establishment. Service was good. I made it a meal and got coffee. The only sugars they offer are sweet-mole and sugar. Can you please offer more sugar fee sweeteners than sweet-n-low? Sweet-n-low is awful. I was annoyed so I have to wait to drink my coffee at home. I wouldn't have gotten the meal with if I had known. Offer Splenda, trivia or equal at least. read more

Used to love Einsteins but this location is just bad. Ordered pickup an hour ahead only for it to be 20 minutes late from pick up time. The order was straightforward as it was only 4 bagels with 3 smears so nothing crazy. The bagels themselves were just off and barely had any spread. The bagels are okay. The service was not good. I stood by register for a few minutes while at least 4 employees ignored me. They were not busy. The girl who was supposed to be taking orders was folding to go bags and talking with someone. It took her a few minutes to acknowledge me. Grabbed lunch from here today, luckily making it in shortly before they closed for the day. Josh took my order and was very friendly and efficient. I didn't see it on the menu in store, but saw another customer with a delicious looking drink, so I asked what it was and Josh let me know it was a blackberry lemonade and that he recommended it, so I ordered it and OMG yes it was so refreshing and good! I also ordered a Turkey sandwich on the jalapeño cheddar bagel; the sandwich was good, but I guess I was hoping for fresh cut deli meat and it's more like store bought packaged meat in my opinion (just an observation, it was still good!) and I wish the bagel was warmed, but I'm sure I can specify that next time! For the two Chocolate Chip bagels, they gave us Raisin bagels, which tasted old. Showed up five minutes early so I could grab it as soon as it was ready, just to be told it was going to be a 20-30 minute wait AFTER the time they were supposed to be ready. I stood here watching them fill up other people's orders of the same thing we ordered for our event instead of working on our order. This place made me post my first Yelp review. Kyle Einsteins put our incomplete order in the online pickup area, so I picked it up and left. I came back after I got home and saw it was missing an egg swiss sandwich. I went back, no acknowledgment, just tried to give me the cold sandwich. I asked them to remake it because it was cold by then. In my opinion, staff member became rude after I asked her to remake sandwich they originally did not include. I don't even expect an apology in these situations, just treat people like they're human. My other mistake is that I order a new item, but she didn't give it to me when she handed me my remade sandwich. I only realized this on my way home after I decided to check as it dawned on me that this place probably isn't going to be winning any awards any time soon. So I left twice with missing items. Life's too short to go argue over a few dollars with rude people who already wasted an hour of my life, so I just cut my losses.
