Well, it's Schlotzsky's...so you know what to expect from them. Every time we have ordered from here, we always get what we order and expected. Me personally, I'm not a fan of their sandwiches in general, so I usually opt for a salad, soup, or flatbread/pizza. I love their seasonal salads, as well as their tomato soup and bread sticks. Once in a while, we will grab their pizzas on BOGO Wednesdays. My son enjoys their chicken caesar and tomato soup. And always gets extra breadsticks. Hubby loves their sandwiches. So, it works for all of us. At times when we feel like a treat, we will order the cinnamon rolls, or the centers. They always seem fresh when we do. We have never dined inside, however, the drive-thru at times can be busy. Also, be sure to pay attention when going thru the drive-thru as it is very narrow. Again, it's Schlotzsky's. Nothing fancy, but a great option for a sandwich spot that has a drive-thru. read more

It should be embarrassing for a restaurant to serve soup worse than a can of Campbells for 5x the price, but for schlotzskys, it's not.

I ordered a small original and a small ham and cheese and the bread had be three days old, not hot and the thinnest cheese you can imagine. I worked at Schlotzsky's 30 years ago and we had such amazing sandwiches. You guys really need to do better. read more

Service and staff were excellent and kind. We've been here several times, the place is always clean and staff is always polite.

2pm on Tuesday. No one greeted us or ever came to take our order at the counter. My husband went to use the restroom, and came back. The ladies room was locked and no one ever came out or answered my knock, so I couldn't wash my hands. Then we stood there for several minutes waiting at the counter to place an order. No one was in front of us. No one came to wait on us. There was a handful of people in the dining area. Finally as we were starting to walk away, we heard someone behind us say, "They're on the way." May, 16 2022 The most awful Schlotzsky's location I have eaten at, I don't think there are enough words in the English language to describe the atrocity that I just ate last week. I waited nearly thirty minutes for a cold and pathetic sandwich. From the slow customer service to the terrible food I was served, to the tiny "go-kart" sized drive-thru lane. I can't even start to begin thinking where it went wrong, I would not recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy. Terrible, SLOW service... always seems under staffed with individuals with an "I don't care, no rush" attitude. Worst one I've been to yet.

Ripoff. Wednesday is BOGO day for pizza. I ordered 6 pizzas on line. Received an email from some company named SLICE, that told me my order was ready. Get there 3 pizzas were ready, BOGO is only eligible thru the drive thru or walk in (I have ordered BOGO before online, no problem), never told this before. Out 37.00 dollars. Was then told they would make the 3 e tra pizzas at no extra charge, but if we wanted extra cheese we would have to 2.00 per pizza. The online menu stated extra cheese is a 1.00. With the bad reviews for this Scholtskys we our out the pizzas and the money. read more

Didn't make One of the first 100 in line on opening day! But the Manager 'Dimple' was gracious enough to extend to the first 120...so I made 104! The place was clean as expected and the service was great. Purchased my 6 pack of cinnamon rolls and got my card for 52 free sammiches. Stayed after the line cleared up and ordered my first of many meals from here! So happy they have made it to our small town of Lockhart, Tx. I have only ordered thru the drive thru. Same helpful nice lady has always taken my food order. Sandwiches are really good and prepared really well looks very nice. My only complaint is the food is on the salty side, as is a lot of places in Lockhart. read more

I've always liked Schlotzsky's and have even dined at the original Congress location. But on the second visit here for lunch, extremely Slow (22 minutes) and customers getting served out of order. Also the bottom bun is to soft and gets soggy. But I still will go back and hope for improvement. And I like the fact they serve adult beverages. read more

Some of the worst service I have ever received at a restaurant. I understand you cant hire good help at 7.25/hr but at least make the effort. We waited 30 minutes, went to check on our order and then the cashier had the nerve to accuse us of not ordering till we showed the receipt. I love Schlotzsky's and have been a fan for many years! Their bread is made from scratch and their chips are made in Austin! They are however on the pricier side of fast food, but definitely worth the money! On our recent visit, the restaurant was very clean and service was quick! We dined in and really enjoyed sitting there and eating our delicious meals. I ordered the chicken tacos and my husband ordered the brisket sandwich. He loves bbq and said he really enjoyed his sandwich! I thoroughly enjoyed my chicken tacos as well. Would definitely recommend you give this place a try! read more

Visited this Schlotzky's location in the evening on 5/22/18. Wife ordered a medium original without mustard, ham and onions. First try was cheese that was not melted, very little meat and an overcooked bun. Second try was worse. Bun was hard. Third try bun was still overcooked and hard. We got our money back. We have always had better results at the Schlotzky's in Bastrop. Lockhart just lost a steady customer. read more

The employees were not friendly. Used drive thru around 4pm in Sunday, was told they did not have chicken. Ordered 2 different sandwiches, and two kids meal with apple slices each for the side. Got the bag, no utensils, only 2 napkins, only one apple slice cup. Parked and went back in only to be told they put all the apple slices in the one cup for two meals. Got utensils and napkins, went back out to discover halfway down the road that the apple slices were all browned. Kids did not eat them. Won't visit this one again, but other locations are always nice. read more

The management and corporate are still working out the kinks here. No prices on the drive through menu or the paper menu. That would help a lot! This is my first review on ANYTHING IN MY LIFE as I don't believe in praising or bashing a business over one visit or even a couple of visits. But this Lockhart location is a piece of work which I plan to give a ZERO rating after more than 6 or 8 visits. (we're longtime Schlotzsky's customers since their first location on S. Congress!). Since blathering is not my style, I'll only discuss the visit we had today, 11/28/18 in Lockhart TX., our home town. However, please note that EVERY previous visit at this Lockhart location had similar experiences. Here's what happened THIS visit: Arrived early this evening and there was not a car in the parking lot. Looked at each other and asked "are they closed?" Parked at the closest spot to the door (we were the only ones there) and determined they're open. Walked in and there were no customers at any tables..... Stepped up to the register to order and waited 3 minutes for someone to show up. Never saw anyone in the kitchen. Took our order at 4:43. Waited and waited. A couple more customers now came in.....they got to wait too.....lots of unhappy faces. Saw an employee come speeding into work at 5:05 pm. Brought our order out at 5:11, 28-minutes later, after she punched in for work! When asked what happened, she said, "she didn't see the order". How can you miss the first order you have? Like I said, every visit has been likewise similar in scope and manner. Sorry Lockhart Schlotzsky's, after many strikes, you're out! PS...Flies were everywhere tonight as other times. Restroom was clean but floors and tables in dining needed cleaning. Go figure. read more

I'll start by saying the food was still good but the service was brutal. They weren't busy had 8 people in there. We showed up family of 4. Stood there at front counter for about 5 minutes wondering if someone was coming to take our order. Finally we ordered now the really long wait started. It took 33 minutes to get our food which consisted of 1 sandwich, 2 salads, 1 pizza. The friends of mine that I was with said it's always bad service here but usually not this bad. With schzlotsky being Austin based company I think corporate needs to visit this location because they are giving your name a bad name. read more

I was excited that Schlotzsky's was coming to Lockhart. I had been a customer of Schlotzsky's, since the first store opened in 1971 on South Congress in Austin. I have been to the Lockhart Schlotzsky's 3 times since they opened, the first time was a week after they opened and the Deluxe Original was awesome. Then last week I did the drive thru, the girl working the window was called away to do other chores and left the manager tending the window area, while she did her paperwork. My sandwich arrived and sat on the counter for approximately 5 minutes, until it was called to the manager's attention that it was sitting there. It was okay, but could have been warmer. This evening I again did the drive thru, I ordered a small Deluxe Original, 2 medium Deluxe Originals, and 4 Cinnabon's. I paid at the window. A few minutes later, the manager, arrived at the window and told me they did not have enough Cinnabon's to fill my order and asked if she could do a substitute with the smaller Cinnabon's or if I wanted my money back. I told her, if she couldn't fill the order, then I wanted my money back. Boy, was she confused, when she handed me a new receipt, she had only credited me with a refund for 2 and I asked her about it and she replied that she thought, I wanted the only 2 she had and a refund for the other 2. Geez, what would happen to me, if I walked in the house with 2 Cinnabon's and 4 people wanting them? I live less than 4 minutes from this store, when I arrived home the sandwiches were cold. The one I had, had a warm bottom, but the top was cold and tough. I guess, I will have to go to Bastrop or Austin to get my Schlotzsky's fix. read more

I love a good Schlotzsky's sandwich. I never liked the bread before, but now I'm a fan. However, the customer service I received today was bad enough for me to leave a review. The girl at the window had attitude and her whole demeanor was sour. I asked her if there were pickles in my bag, she said yes (and I could tell she was lying), so I checked the bag. NO PICKLE. So I waited for her to come back to the window, she said nothing, just stared at me. I said there were no pickles in the bag, so she she rolled her eyes, walked to get a pickle, and chose the smallest one she could find, then dropped it in my bag. No "here you go ma'am", no "sorry about that", nothing. I wasn't asking for much at all, and she acted like I was the biggest inconvenience. I WAS THE ONLY PERSON IN THE DRIVE THRU. I stayed calm this time, next time I'll be coming inside and speaking with a manager. read more
