This place is amazing!! I was originally looking for the frozen yogurt spot it originally was but I haven't been there in so long that it is now Hey Sugar and i honestly it is way better now! The decor is cute with all things flowers and the staff is very nice and welcoming. I have a massive sweet tooth and this place just hits the spot. You're greeted the moment you walk in through that door and the employees were super helpful and sweet! Third star is for the amount of options available. I ordered a cookie dough cupcake and vanilla iced latte. The cupcake was just ok, the cookie dough was not what I had in mind. It was room temperature and kind of dry. The latte I ordered was light roast and still tasted too strong. Could barely taste the vanilla in it. They're also a little on the pricy end. This place was a great! Wanted a little something sweet and found this place in the area. It's in a busy section of a lot of different restaurants and shop right on the street. So parking might be a prob.... But we ran in while our driver waited on the sidelines. I ordered a some 'mo - dang it was good! And the cupcakes were also delicious. One of the best ones I Have had in a while. Prices were a little steep but it was worth it! The owner seems very sweet though and kudos to her for starting this business mid pandemic, that certainly takes a lot of courage and that should not go unmentioned and I wish her all the best. They don't have a lot of actual indoor seating, unless you count the oversized hanging basket swings with pillows they don't obviously don't want people eating on. Dessert-wise, there are so many better choices in downtown Geneva. We had ice cream "specialities" which were small, overpriced, and very underwhelming. I feel like we could have had the same quality and presentation of ice cream at Dairy Queen without all the pomp and circumstance. For me, it's a one and done. read more

We went to get dinner out in Geneva last night and this place immediately caught our attention as we walked by. We had plans to go elsewhere for dessert but quickly decided to ditch those plans and give it a try. The staff was super helpful about describing all the pastry options. My husband loved the cherry buttercream they creatively used on the pineapple upside down cake. He said that there wasn't much pineapple though. I had a simple muffin , which literally turned into sand as I attempted to eat it. I had to just toss it. Not enough fat or not enough liquid in the mix! Everything is overpriced, because the items are only fair to nearly good. And well the staff is attentive, they definitely seem like they rather be any place else. I work with the public, so I know what it means to put your game face on. These young people have not developed that skill yet. I want this place to thrive here, because it is adorable. They need to step up their game in quality, and customer service....But even the blondie was not something we would stop in for. Will revisit after they have some time to improve. Just went there for the first time today with my wife and daughter. First off, the place looks great. The inside is really nice with the huge wall of flowers. It's a clever name. We had the salted caramel cupcake. Out of this world good. I was very impressed with how moist the cupcake was and then with the salted caramel filling underneath the icing. Excellent cupcake. Also had the vanilla cake shake. Typically milkshakes are pretty heavy. This actually was very light and refreshing. The taste was great and mixing sprinkles and cake in the shake was a really nice twist. Overall, a great addition to 3rd street and hope for nothing but the best for this store. We traveled from Elmhurst to Geneva to check out this place and it was so worth the trip!!!The staff was very professional and added bonus is they were all wearing masks so it made us feel comfortable inside! The lemon curd cupcake was definitely stale & the icing was hard. the pumpkin cupcake was dense but had decent flavor & a nice cream cheese icing, however it was still a little sticky in the middle, could have used another couple minutes in the oven. Super cute decor and a popular picture spot for anyone visiting downtown Geneva! I can only offer a review of the cupcakes I had and I was sadly disappointed. I tried a chocolate/chocolate and a vanilla/chocolate. Neither cake was as moist as I had hoped. The buttercream frosting wasn't smooth and creamy at all, instead it fell off the cupcake in flaky pieces. Almost like it wasn't a freshly prepared buttercream. As we looked in the case, several of the basic flavors were sold out and many of the flavors only had a few left. As I had suspected, we were given day old product.
