delicious strawberry infused Golden Birthday Cake
    Kelley M.

Big shout out to Paul with the fantastic job he did with the 2 cakes for March 16! They were absolutely beautiful and just what I had in mind. Plus they were delicious... Especially the "strawberry infused!"

If you're ever in Geneva make sure to stop by Cocoa Bean Fine Desserts. They have the best croissants outside of Paris. Their cakes are also fantastic and their pizza by the square is a great snack food. Stop in for croissants and coffee...you'll think you're in a bistro in France.

I wanted to try this little restaurant for a while so Sandi and I stopped in for coffee and dessert. The store reminds me of an equivalent of a toy store for food. I chose a chocolate mousse decorated with a snow man, raspberry and what looked like a snow covered field. Sandi chose a chocolate cake covered with coconut and whipped cream. The setting was cozy and the coffee was delicious. If you are into chocolates as well as desserts, do not resist. Go on in and give them a taste.

Their croissants are to die for! I walked in with my lunch companion and was floored but how fresh everything was. The croissant was buttery, flaky as well leek and guyere cheese quiche. I will have to come back soon even though the drive for me will be 2.5hrs

Birthday cake. Theme art. The brush and color palette are not edible and the candle ofcourse too.

This place never disappoints me. From my baby shower till my daughters are 7 and 5. 4 star because it is pricey.

So happy to have placed an order for my coworker's birthday from Cocoa Bean! They delivered 4 pastries that looked to die for!!! The birthday girl was happy with the order :) loved how easy the staff was to work with... took my credit card info over the phone, and then delivered the order very reliably the next day! I mean look at those tarts... just wow.

The breakfast items (lower R photo) are tastier than the pretty fruit tart and mini white chocolate passion fruit cups.

I've been here over 1/2 a dozen times and I'll have to say my favorite thing here is the apricot pistachio tart. I prefer their breakast items (apple / pear tarts, danish, and crossiants) much more than their desserts. The mini desserts and indiv. cakes are beautifully decorated and pricey but don't taste as good as they look. I tell myself every time to just stick with the bakery items but the items in the glass displays are so pretty, I couldn't resist and leaves me disappointed every time. Service has been good to very good.

This is what we had requested

We used cocoa bean for our wedding and the cake we received was awful and looked nothing like what we discussed with the baker. The baker told us she was sick the week of our wedding and she never looked back at our photo to confirm what we wanted and the colors and that she normally would have called us to confirm what we wanted but since she was sick she didn't. In our initial meeting I said if she wasn't able to do the design we wanted we would be okay with a white cake but she assured me she could do it. Our cake photos from our wedding are ruined. The owner offered us $50 to compensate us for the terrible job they did after we paid almost $700 for the cake. I do not recommend trusting them with your wedding cake you will certainly be disappointed!

    What was received

This place is a scam!! Do not trust them for any event you have planned. The two photos below are what was discussed & requested and what was received. It is not expected to receive a spitting image of the inspiration, however these two cakes couldn't be any more different. The lack of detail is one thing but the colors aren't even close to each other. How can a baker turn a blind eye to such important details, especially for such an important event. After bringing it to the shops attention, the response was rude and very much lacking professionalism. If I could give no stars I would, and don't recommend this shop to ANYONE looking for a wedding cake - or any event for that matter.

They were your regukar flavors except for Lemon White chocolate. i bought 1 of each along with their cranberry walnut scone. If you like the thin cooked that spread and remain soft, these will work for you. I need crispy edges at least. The scone was a very sad, depressed lump. After my first taste, i broke off pieces around the edge (pictures included) and you will see a cranberry walnut scone bereft of cranberries. There was NO TASTE of the dried fruit, even when i picked one out, it was a tiny teardrop of a possibility of the tart/sweet dried gem normally enjoyed. (maybe they should be macerated in orange juice or eben cranberry juice). oh! the walnuts were large nice pieces but with the horrible raw-flour taste overpowering even the mighty walnut, the lump could not be redeemed.

Other goodies were cookies, fresh baked bread, honey sticks and dipped rice crispy treats, to name a few. You can also get coffee, teas and lemonades. I ended up getting the croissant stuffed and topped with chocolate chip cookie dough. It was delicious. Not overly sweet, but I ate it two different times throughout the day. It's definitely worth the $5! The employees were very patients as we looked at all the goodies trying to decide what we wanted, and willing to answer any questions.
