Stopped by this afternoon for a quick drink after returning from Dallas on a business trip. It was my first time here, all of my work friends had been talking about it. The bartender was great she made a really good bloody mary probably the best I've had in a while and the loaded fries were fantastic. During my time there I couldn't help but notice a staff member sitting at the bar during business hours playing on her phone. She was an older lady with glass in a blue hey day shirt. I did not realize establishments allowed employees to sit at an open bar during business hours playing on their phone, very unprofessional. I was unable to bring cupcakes in for a birthday even though multiple people that commented on my Facebook post about the situation said they had zero issues bringing cupcakes even though they DID NOT rent a room. I won't be back, we spent $200 renting a bowling lane... why would I rent a room when the kids were bowling. Be consistent. When everyone else gets to bring cupcakes but I was literally chased down and I couldn't ... pretty crappy behavior on part of your management. We were not allowed to bring my son's birthday cake in for his 8th birthday party. We were followed around the entire time we were there. We were harassed by the manager when we tried to sing happy birthday to my son OUTSIDE on their patio. We will never be back here again. I recommend going to Schulman's that is 5min down the road. Was there on Sunday 02/18/24 for the first time. When we walked in we were not greeted or told anything about the place. The man literally stood there and stared. The lady at the bar acted as if we inconvenienced her by asking where to order food. Out of all the people working none were smiling or friendly besides the worker who was at the laser tag station. I know costs are inflated right now but the prices for bowling per hour are atrocious and about $10 too high. Horrible. Lady named Lisa K starts cussing out the hostess Aubrey because of her cleaning a table off for us to sit down at. I just wanted to reach out to HeyDay and tell about my husband and I date night experience on Saturday night. We started off with some bowling. Our server was Zach and he was great and the food was also. He made sure that we had everything we needed. He was awesome. We finished our evening in your acarde. We first started with a game of LaserTag. The young lady (Gini) who was running it was so nice and explained everything to us. My husband and I begged her to play our session with us. She smile and said she would love to but she said that she can't because she will be refereering. She made our game fun. When our game was over we played a few games,then ended up checking out everything we could get with our 340 points. Gini was also at the Redemption Counter helping us once again. She had the biggest smile on her face which was contagious. I felt bad for her because she was getting radio calls for her to go help someone. She kept apologizing to us and whomever was on the radio. She told the person on the radio that she will be there to help them as soon as she could. She finished ringing up our items we had chosen and she still had the biggest smile that I have seen. She told us to have a wonderful and blessed rest of the weekend and to please come back soon. She told us about half price games on Wednesday. She also told us about the Sweeerheart Special on Valentines Day special of buy 2 entrees & get 2 session of mini golf or lasertag free and that it needs to be use the same day. Ok, this is my 2nd visit here since they opened. The guys in my fantasy football league met here to watch playoff football. They did not have the sound up loud enough to hear, and we had terrible service. The waitress complained about having to go up and down the stairs. Smh Our next visit we had very good service, but some jack wagon kept turning the channel off of NFL playoff football to collegiate spikeball! Who watches that? My son, his two boys, me, and my husband went to Hey Day yesterday afternoon and we all had a blast. As we walked in, we were greeted by Gini C. This lady was awesome! She was everywhere taking care of people left and right, kidded around with the kids, stopped and asked people if they needed anything and if they were enjoying themselves. The bowling lanes seemed to be very busy (my grandsons were more the arcade, laser tag, and ropes type kids), the adult area upstairs seemed to be busy as well. All the staff I saw during our time there all seemed happy, no bad attitude faces. We were going to eat but the grandkids were tired from playing laser tag with their dad and running crazy in the arcade, that we felt we better go while the going was good cause no sooner were we in the car and about a mile down the road they both were out. All in all we had a good time, but Gini C. made it a great time. I recommend taking the whole family for a good time. read more

Don't go to the restaurant expecting any service, their isn't any. We tried this place twice, the first trip service was terrible. We waited for a long time to get seated and waited on, then had to wait even longer to get out ticket to pay. We gave them another chance thinking that dealing with Covid issues was the problem. Second try same as the first but slower. We had to walk around the place to find someone we could pay so we could leave. Prices have changed and are a lot more competitive. They're really trying to keep people safe during Covid by putting curtains up between lanes and taking temperatures before entering the building. Wait staff seem competent but the drinks are a little weak at times. Haven't seen if that shuffleboard table is level yet cuz Covid shut it down. Mini golf is always fun. The arcade is back in action. Seems like the lanes are getting oiled a bit more and I shot my first 200+ game here a few weeks ago. I should mention I take bowling more seriously than others and I'm in a league in Plano so I can be pretty critical of bowling alleys not oiling their lanes periodically. I think it's called double daves, I can't remember because it sucked. You need a pair of sunglasses because it's so bright in there. Looks like your eating in a tanning bed. The food tasted horrible. We recently moved to Denison and were looking forward to seeing "the Battle of the Ax" We chose to watch the game at Heyday because they have a patio thats pet friendly. We were greeted by a bartender that seemed less than thrilled to be at work and It took forever for the waitress to greet is and to bring menus. The manager came out to the patio a few times biitonly paid attention to the regulars. He was oblivious to the fact the bartender and the waitstaff were on their cellphones phones and eating their dinner behind the bar. We would have stayed for the whole game but decided to go home, why spend our hard earned money in an establishment that clearly could care less that we are there?
