     an arcade game

I took my managers last Christmas for a day of axe throwing. We were the only people in the place since it was a workday and the manager made us feel like we were super special. We didn't eat there as Rustico is down the street but we had a blast. They gave us pointers throughout our games and helped us improve. I love that they engraved our names in our axes. And we bought Christmas HA ornaments. Great place to hang out and have a good time. Keep up the good vibes HA!!

I went here looking for something simple to spend my time on during Spring Break in Denison/Sherman. It was a bit busy for a Sunday but the workers were amazing at explaining how to work the axes and general safety. The arcade was somewhat lacking with not that many games but the axe throwing was great entertainment for a couple of hours.

I think they have that game too! Really great vibe; not overly chaotic, just people of all ages genuinely having a good time. Perfect spot to either pop in for a few games or stay and hang out awhile. Everything was clean, the game selection was solid and a perfect night for solo game playing - hello that's me! Also, shoutout to the girl at the front w the Star Wars sweatshirt. She complimented my Wu Tang shirt before I could compliment her fabulous sweatshirt and from that point I knew a RAD time, was about to be had ;). I hate that I forgot her name, but she was awesome and instantly made the place feel even cooler. The Force was no doubt with her! Had a genuinely great time and will definitely be back a 3rd time!!

We were not planning to spend more than 5-10 minutes there. We just wanted to walk around and see what machines they had to offer, as we were looking for a good "gaming" business to visit for a family-night-out. There was no one in the arcade, judging from the empty parking lot and a lack of bodies in a very open room upon walking in. The first thing you see is a room full of retro-style arcade machines such as PAC-MAN and Galaga. Two middle aged women greeted us at the front door. One was working behind a bar, and the other was standing beside the bar counter. I approached the woman beside the bar counter and asked if we could have a quick look around, and then leave. She definitively told us no, because the machines were "free to play." Basically... you pay $10 for a full day of free-range play on all of the machines. After telling us no, she did not say anything more... instead motioning towards the bar to show us the drink and food options they offered. First of all... why would you expect people to give you their business if you do not advertise the products/machines you offer? There was no way to figure out what machines they had unless you walked around for yourself. Second... I understand not wanting customers to play your machines without paying. But there was no one in the arcade. These two women were just standing around when my mother and I first came in. She couldn't have stood at the doorway and just monitor us while we looked around to see what they offered? Third... if you REALLY don't want risk your customers stealing your services to the point that you don't want to monitor them while they browse, then OFFER to SHOW them around. I don't think it's very good for business to flat out refuse customers the way that they did and then offer no alternative. The whole interaction was very off-putting... so my Mom and I walked out once we realized the woman was not going to work with us in any way. We almost considered not going back at all as a result. Granted, the woman was not rude per-se. I did not find there to be any malice or during our interaction, but the attitude we received was odd. We did not find the place to be very welcoming. However... I did go back once by myself. They have a wide variety of machines to offer. They also offer both retro-style arcade machines as well as more modern-choices. The $10 price tag is great for the amount of playtime you get. They do offer a bar and food menu, but I did not sample these services.

They have nearly every console and you can play almost all of them or at least something from each era. The giant pong game is an absolute must for geeks of all ages. I could spent another couple of hours in there if the lil one would have been willing. Your admission includes 4 tokes and you can play some classics and little known arcade games. This is not anything compared to Pinballz or Game Preserve, but it is a fun addition and we enjoyed it.

At the end of the museum is a retro arcade. You get four tokens with your ticket upon entry, but you could always buy more. There is private party room as well. There was a birthday party when we attended and the kids were having a blast playing in the arcade. I wish the location was attached to a skating rink or something else retro but physical to make an afternoon of it. Parking is easy, it's next to the library so no charge to park and all access is flat. Overall it's a good visit but will only occupy 1-2 hours.
