If there was more stars available they would of got it. First of all the atmosphere. I was a bit surprised with the atmosphere inside. With this not being a franchise someone did there homework with the decor and the branding. The only thing I was a little disappointed in was it was loud actaully very loud. Concrete floors, lots of metal on the walls and an open ceiling made it much louder then I would of liked. The place was packed so it may of been worse then normal. A really hip industrial look though. As far as the price people have complained about.... seriously!?!?! After looking through the menu if you could get a burger, waffle fries and 24oz drink for $9.50. I don't think this is out of line for what you are getting. If you get a stuffed burger, a higher priced side and drink you could run up a $12.00 ticket. I got a stuffed pepper jack which is their most popular burger according to Jay Hollenbeck one of the owners. My wife got the peanut butter burger which I didn't like the sound of. My stuffed pepper jack was awesome... don't know if it was the best I ever had but for sure the best I have had in Lincoln. The meat is far superior then any other ground beef and the bun just makes it over the top. I took a bite of my wifes peanut butter burger and was pleasantly surprised. It is a bit heavy but if your in the mood for something like that it was good. Jay Hollenbeck was busing tables the night we was in and we talked to him for a bit. After the discussion my wife and I had the same opinion. We have never been anywhere you can actually meet the person who raised the animals that you are actually eating. This farm family started this restaurant to sell their beef. They actually have a frozen meat counter where you can buy cuts of meat. I really wanted to like this place as I love the Hollenbeck beef I have bought at the Farmer's Market. The service is bad. Just down right bad. I often can't get people's attention because they are listening to iPods. The hamburgers are inconsistently cooked. I also tried to speak to a manager and was told they had left for the day. Our burger was also prepared wrong and then "quickly fixed" which makes me feel like they just moved the burger patty to another bun. This place has potential but needs serious help. The Hollenbecks really need to be on-sight for awhile in order to get this restaurant up to speed. They also need management there all the time. They need to hire more responsible employees. Their employees don't seem to take their jobs seriously. When you are paying $12 for a burger meal, someone should take the burger seriously. For right now, I am going to Greta's Gourmet for their burgers. They are very consistent in their burgers. read more

My family loves HF crave. We've been going there for a couple of years now. As of 2/6/16 we will no longer be dining at this restaurant. The huge muscle bound jerk who took our order was so rude to myself and my husband that we nearly walked out then and there. The kids really wanted crave so we stayed. The food was amazing as always. But after we had finished eating my daughter went to use the restroom, and when she came back she told me that the large A-hole at the register had been hitting on her and making her very uncomfortable.. Like I said they are kids. My daughter is 15 years old and this grown man was trying to take advantage of her. Needless to say we will not be going back to HF crave until this man no longer is associated with it! read more

Hands down the best burger in town! Unique, original, wonderfully fresh ingredients, nice casual environment. Burgers are great and well worth the price (if you want fast food price, go to McDonalds). Service was great, food takes a little longer to cook due to freshness and not just the run of the mill mass produced frozen hamburger. The sweet potato fries and the cheese curds are out of this world! They also sell the natural beef directly from the store. We have purchased Hollenbeck Farms steaks for many years and they have always been great. Overall a great dining choice in Lincoln! read more

The Crave hits the spot. My favorite is the Rasta burger: sweet and spicy served with fresh mango/habanero salsa, yum! They've got plenty of options for everyone: whether you're an adventurous foodie or you've got a more conservative palette. You can tell the beef is the real deal (doesn't hurt that the cooks really know their way around a grill). A full meal will run you about $10-$12, which is pretty stellar considering the meat is all sourced from a local farm. So go ahead, give HF Crave a try, and for the love of god don't forget to add waffle fries. read more

The best burgers I ever had in a very long time. I had the Rasta special burger. Order and try it. I bet you will love it. It's cocked to perfection, with all the goodies in it. The sweet potato fries and creamy garlic sauce!! The place is relaxed and simple, but they put a lot of art into their food. I highly recommend it if you're a kinda person who appreciates good food. One of the best places in Lincoln for a burger and fries. It took them a while to get their feet back under them after an extended closure when they moved locations, but they're good again. Blows Honest Abe's out of the water. Comfortable atmosphere with a good beer selection as well. Favorite menu item is the stadium bratburger. They took away the bratwurst burgers for a while, but they're back and delicious as ever. read more

The customer's here are not generally tourist nor are they the business people that work in the high raises a block away. The people who visit this market are the people of the street, which is why some people would be put off by this market. As for myself, I love this kind of experience. My all time favorite burger is the Memphis Burger complete with all-natural beef a slice of ham coleslaw and make sure to ask for an egg over easy on top. Step one is to push the bun down until the yoke breaks. Step two cut burger in half because once you stat eating you cannot put it down. Step three experience pure eating enjoyment. Ate here yesterday and i am really impressed with the burger selection i couldn't decide what to get! I ordered the Stuffed Pepper Jack burger and it was the best burger i have ever ate. Bogart is the best person around. These burgers are made with expert craftsmanship and I have never had a complaint with the food quality or the staff, and the flavor explodes in your mouth. Would recommend this over Honest Abe's. The go to burger for me is just a plain ole bacon cheeseburger. Definitely go here. read more

Went a while back when i was in town and stopped by for a snack and ended up getting some waffle fries. The Waffle Fries were pretty good. I came back about a week ago and ordered the House Made fries which tasted extremely fresh and very very tasty. I highly suggest these fry's over any other ones they have. read more
