I was craving for Japanese curry cutlet and found this on Google. No regrets! I love their homemade curry sauce. I will definitely comeback and try other cutlets option.

Curry (Small - $14.50 / Large - $17.50) - I wanted to try their soft shell crab curry, which incurred a $1 upcharge, and was only available as a large option, so $18.50 for crab. This came with fried soft shell crab served in a gravy-like curry which was slightly sweet and savory. I asked for it mild and it didn't have any heat, perhaps next time I would go with medium. It was served with some bright red pickles and rice. I wasn't too impressed with the crab, the quantity was on the smaller side. Curry Lunch Special ($13.50) - This comes with a small curry and half of a side appetizer. On a subsequent visit I ordered this with chicken katsu and the gyoza appetizer. This came with 3 fried chicken gyozas that weren't bad, but I think I would have preferred if they were steamed. For my curry I went with the chicken katsu, which was slightly overcooked but still went well with the curry. Overall, the lunch specials are reasonably priced here and I would stick to getting that when I visit again. It's not a big restaurant inside, with about 8 tables and a good place to go to get one's Japanese curry fix.

Saturday night, 7pm... About 3 tables filled. What's the harm right? Well.... 45 minutes later we are sitting there waiting on our order. It was just 2 chicken curries. Nothing special, nothing out of the ordinary... We ask the employee if it's coming out soon... He said 15 minutes, they are a bit backed up. After already invested so much time and paid we said ok, fine. 20 minutes later we ask and he says they are working on it now. Excuse my language but WTF!! First off, if in the beginning he knew they were backed up, he should have told us..just a heads up there is a bit of a wait. Then I would've respected this place a lot more! Overall waited an hour+ for some curry... Absolutely not worth the time. Sorry and I will not return

The coating was tasty, the chicken was juicy, and the sauce with a little bit of lemon was exquisite. For the main dish, I went a little bold and tried their Chicken Katsu with Umeboshi Sauce and Shiso inside the katsu. May sound kind of odd, but the combination of flavors was both fresh and bold. Service at the restaurant was solid and I don't think there was a moment where my water wasn't full. The restaurant itself was quite big and I was surprised by how many tables/people could be seated. 100% would come back to try some of the other katsu options.

I loved the sides and miso soup with the meal. Rice was perfect. Katsu sauce and soy on table. Ordered another pork katsu set for my older son to go. He enjoyed it. So so so good! What a gem!!!! Beautiful woodsy ambiance. Staff were Japanese. An authentic experience. Will definitely be back.

We ordered through the QR code that was made available on the table. I did notice that other tables had servers come in to take order but no one ever came to our table. So we opted to ordering via the QR code. Everything is paid once the order has been made. Our total came up to around $113. We were about half way through our meal when the sever with pink highlights in her hair came up to us to verify our order. She repeated an order that sounded ALMOST identical to ours however, the price was set at $89 which really confused us since we already paid $113 for our entire order. Then this server got impatient and told us "It's a YES or NO question... Is this your order or not? Do you not know?" Again, we were mostly confused as to why she presented us with a tab of $89 when we already paid $113. And not just that, we were still mid-way through our meal. Her rudeness really ruined our appetite. We weren't rude to her. Why did she have to speak to us like that?

It's bare bones but tastes really good. It doesn't need a lot of help. The veggies are dressed so it's a bit salty and spicy (in a good way). The meat pairs well with the wasabi and veggies. Gyutan Tsukasa USA is always busy and we were intrigued by the hype since the cost was higher than others. #1-B 12 pcs Gyutan Set The motto on their website "Once you try the oxtongue offered by Tsukasa, you don't want to go to the other oxtongue restaurants for Tsukasa's unique taste!" - and we agree! I've tried ox tongue at a few different restaurants and also even in Japan, but the one here at Tsukasa is most definitely different than the ones I have had at other restaurants in the U.S. The charcoal grilled ox tongue pieces were very thick, and of very good quality. They were easy to bite and chew, which is a huge plus in our books. Yes, the meal is simple, but sometimes a simple meal is the hardest to prepare. The soup was not oily at all and there were plenty of green onions and the oxtail pieces were so soft. Everything was fresh and delicious, from the main entree to the rice and the veggies, and not overly greasy in any way. Yes, the price is higher than others in the food court, but there is a reason why it is also one of the busiest.
