I ordered a California, Philly and a salmon roll. Got them to go and once I got home and opened the box I was soooo disappointed. The were itty bitty size with like barely any filling, tons of rice (see picture). Won't be coming back nor would I recommend it to anyway. This place caught me by surprise, my sister and I were about to eat at Dave's but this restaurant caught our eye. The prices were reasonable, the food was good and the service was great. This hole in the wall, family owned restaurant has a handful of tables and chairs, but seems like people make to go orders. After looking over the menu board, my husband and I ended up ordering: Teriyaki Salmon Combination Meal, $12.25 prior to tax- comes with miso soup and spicy tuna rolls, salad and rice. My husband ordered this which definitely is plenty of food. The salmon was good, which was served with plenty of sauce, on top of a bed of rice. The spicy tuna was good and the warm soup was a great way to start the meal. 3 Taste Sushi Bowl, $9.50 prior to tax- For this bowl, I requested to have it made with half rice and half salad. The sushi rice used was perfectly cooked and had a nice light sweetness. The 3 seafood items used in this bowl is salmon, spicy tuna, imitation crab. Since I am not much of a spicy eater, I thought the tuna did have a bit of a kick to it (but my husband, who does eat spicy foods regularly, thought it was pretty mild). The type of salad used is the nice spring mix, which I liked. Definitely a filling meal. ----------------------- (Total= $23.44 after tax) Service was friendly and wait time for our food wasn't too long, took about 10 minutes or so after we ordered. I stopped by this plaza to get some milk tea and saw this place across the parking lot. I've been looking for a good "cheap" sushi solution and I think I found the place. I was a little hesitant to try this place from the first couple of most recent reviews I read, but I'm glad I gave them a try. It was a little odd when I first stepped into the store. It is a small, cozy, and quiet restaurant, and I was intrigued with the low prices here. Their California roll is only $3.75 and seems like it hasn't changed over the past years even with the minimum wage increase and COVID! I ordered a triple sushi combo with California roll (8 pc), crunchy roll (5 pc), and spicy tuna roll (8 pc) for ~$12 ish. After I ordered, he told me it would take about 10 minutes for the sushi. I tried the California roll first and was delighted with the warm and individual grains of non mushy rice. I also enjoyed the sheeted cucumbers (compared to places that put in one thick slice of it). I enjoyed the texture of the crunchy roll from the tempura shrimp (a little stale but still crunchy), the sheeted cucumbers, and the extra layer of seaweed and rice from the wider roll. I appreciated the simple and traditional taste of the spicy tuna. I like spicy tuna the way it is, and I'm glad they didn't try to do extra like adding too much sesame oil or making it sweet. Overall, I enjoyed this place keeping in mind that they are not a high end sushi restaurant, but a conventional one keeping their prices low for their community. They are super affordable and the quality of their sushi is above average considering the price range. It's amazing that they can still keep their prices so low during these difficult times. They served me on an actual plate so that was great, bit the plate had mostly salad, lots of rice, and a measly portion for the salmon. I really did not like a didpospptionate serving like that. What a great experience! My kids are hit-and-miss on sushi so I don't like to buy expensive sushi when they're eating. The person who took my order was very warm and was able to make perfect suggestions to complete my order. When we picked up, he helped my daughter with the gum ball machine and was very kind to us. Sushi Teri is a nice place with cute decor. There sushi is amazing and not too expensive. It's very affordable yet still high quality. The family that runs it are very sweet and the service is great. They have a cute gum ball machine for the kids and some flavorful Japanese bubble drinks. For those who don't care for sushi they have an amazing creamy sesame chicken bowl that's too die for.
