Amazing service! I was able to reach them the first time and they assisted me with getting the proper ticket # from Samsung Support to look at the new, very expensive "75 I just bought/installed and could not get the facial colors perfect no matter how much I adjusted the settings. Their appointment person's assistance saved me the $130 service call to my house as Samsung Support online was useless in my opinion. Hi Definitions Tech, Mr. Tran knew his stuff better than all the magazines and online sources I used in make my expensive tv purchase. He knows Samsung's product and explained that what I wanted required upgrading my Xfinity/Comcast box and paying my streaming services more money for 4K video. He went onto explain that the size of the tv and the "type" of Samsung model I had chosen was really not the right one given all my requirements. When I first submitted a Samsung support ticket, I had zero expectation of actually getting my TV fixed. The same day I submitted the ticket, I received a call from Nancy at Hi Definition. She scheduled our service for the following day. Andrew arrived on time and was extremely professional. He knows his stuff. He diagnosed the issue in literally 5 minutes. A few days later, Christina called me to let me know she escalated the Samsung ticket because they still hadn't received the part. It hadn't even been a week and she was already following up for me! Had to pass on service. These people charge card before service even starts. I hope this is exactly how they do their grocery shopping. Once they enter HEB they have to pay $100 right away in advance before they buy anything, very unprofessional, so do not expect quality of repair either. They also wanted to break apart TV to order parts, just to see serial numbers or else. That was most ridiculous thing I ever heard. Seems no knowledge about Samsung products and parts. So, from the point tech enters you house you won't have TV for couple weeks, then they will tell you parts cost $800 and you have to pay close to $1000 all together. Don't understand, why respectful companies like Samsung engage unprofessional crooks. Definitely does not help reputation. read more

Hi Definition was contracted to fix my newly purchased Samsung TV which had a defect. They have terrible customer service. They have very little flexibility in providing an approximate time for arrival. After almost two weeks, when we could finally arrange to be home during the window of time they gave us, they called an hour before the time they were supposed to arrive to cancel the appointment without explanation. They would not give us a time slot for the next day. Instead they said they would call us the next day to give us a time window several days into the future. They never called us back. We called Samsung and they told us they would give us a refund on our television. read more

I had an issue with my DLP television. I called an answering service and set an appointment. While waiting the couple days I read about troubleshooting and the cause might be the door that protects the lamp. may be ajar. Bigger than Dallas, I looked and the door screw had become loose allowing the door to hang open. Tightened and fixed. Picture back. Here is where these guys earn an extra star. When I contacted the technician scheduled, and explained that the service call wasn't need, he was very professional and nice. He told me that was good news and asked that I keep them in mind in the future for any other problems I might have. My brother and I have both used them in the past and have had good results. showed up on time, had the parts, fixed the problem. Period. When the TV goes down, life as we know it stops. This place was recommended to me over the phone by Samsung Customer Service line, but unfortunately these people are just money minded, they are not honest, and they do not have any integrity. When I asked them over the phone how much is the estimated cost of repair (clarifying that my LED back-lights are actually the issue) they were not able to tell me with the excuse that the technician will need to go home to do the evaluation ($105 per trip!). That's fine, but they also never mentioned that they are not able to order LED back-light strips as spare parts from Samsung. They are only able to order the whole LED panel (which with their profit margin is about $1000 for 50" TV! Ridiculous isn't it - you can probably buy 2 or 3 TVs with these money...). If HDE have put the customer first they should have mentioned that they are not able to replace LED back-lights only but they can order standard big parts such as complete LED display...Then I would have gone to another service center or perhaps I could have made the right decision to buy a new TV. However the Hi Definition Electronics customer care is apparently instructed to keep quiet and to send someone, who will take a quick look, give a ridiculously high estimate, and get their easy money without doing any repair rather than advising the customers honestly which is the best thing to do. In my case I knew my problem and I asked them about the exact parts, and whether they are able to bring them during the service trip. All they needed to tell me is the truth: they do not order back-light replacements from the TV manufacturer but they can only replace the whole LED display - with this info I can make the right decision. In summary - these are very unethical and money minded people. I do not recommend this place to anyone! Be very careful! If your TV is not working consider buying a new one with extended warranty. I will never use these guys again! It was a horrible experience... read more

My TV was out of manifacture warranty, I found them on Samsung.com, the lady who answers phone call, Barbara, is so nice and sociable, my schedule is very tight but she was felexible and sent the technician in my free time. I read reviews on them but to be honest with you I did not very good reviews on them but I did not have any other option exept trusting them. The technician, Andrew, came to my house, he is the smartes man alive, he diagnosed the problem right away, ordered the part came back in a week and exchanged the part less than 10 minutes and that is it.
