The absurdly high rating for this biz had me calling them immediately, in which a young man named Eid promptly quoted $250 to fix it. This was at least $50-75 cheaper than most of their competition. I agreed to it. It's a tiny shop that's next to a gas station. It looks completely run down and if it weren't for the reviews, I'd have a hard time seeing myself here. I was told that I'd be able to come pick it up in roughly 3 hours. Kudos for allowing same-day service. By the time it was ready for pickup, I came in to inspect the phone. I noticed just there are some gaps on the screen but it was responsive. Right as it became time to pay I learned they were unwilling to accept the Yelp check in offer of 10% off and would charge an additional $20 fee when deciding to use a credit card. I went out to get cash and eventually paid. When asking for a receipt, he gave me a piece of paper with some scribbles and largely illegible penmanship. Overall the repair was successful, the price was right, but the inconvenience and shoddy customer service might mean I will reconsider my business if this ever happens again.

This review is for the solid transparency and professionalism of the staff. I have a cracked screen on my 2023 Samsung Galaxy. I kept the phone because it wasn't worth turning in when I got a new one, and I figured I could always have it as a back-up. Unfortunately to repair would have been over $300 which is just not worth it for me at the moment. The tech I spoke to took his time to inform me of my options. Apparently the price is because they are Samsung- quality certified which does give peace-of-mind. I came on a week-day and they told me they wouldn not be able to provide same day service because they were so busy, but to come back when they had more staff on the weekend. I appreciated the transparency!! Other things to note: There is plenty of parking and it is free for a short amount of time. They do sell a small selection of phone accessories like screen protectors and cases.

I hope I don't have to return again anytime soon, but at least I know there's a reputable cellphone repair shop in the area.

So I used the "project" tab on Yelp to request a quote to see how much it would cost to fix. Ben at Intouch Wireless was the first to respond. Ben did not offer the lowest price but I chose him because of his detail answers and how quickly he responded to my questions. I showed up a few hours later when I got off work. Ben greeted me and was super friendly. He tested my phone before working on it to ensure I was correct about the issue I was having. He told me it would be about 30 mins to finish the repair. He was done with my phone within 20 mins. He tested my phone in front of me to show me it was working correctly. I really like how engaging Ben was and how he took the time to answer my questions and not over charge me once I showed up in person.

(For the TL;DR version, skip to the last paragraph. For a quick lesson on how to creatively misuse company time, continue below) It was a Monday like any other...the weather was decent (between 40 and 75 degrees sunny yet somehow overcast aka normal for Texas), my hangover was in full swing and getting worse with every "You don't look so good/Are you alright?" comment, and I had around 2 or 3 FB posts to choose from for my daily "Make people regret friending me" mischief. Everything seemed pretty normal so when 2pm came, I decided to take my usual smoke break...however, there was nothing "usual" about this particular respite. Fate had a much more sinister plan, one that could only be described as insidious. As I leaned against the parking garage wall, half-chuckling with a cigarette in my mouth while fastidiously typing my next witty response to the FB chaos I created, a gust of wind forebodingly blew through the garage. That was all it took...before I could even process what that gust foreshadowed, a red ember left the end of my cancer stick and as if with a predesigned purpose, danced its way through the breeze. Like the familiar screeching of a train stopping at the end of its journey, that red ember's arrival was also signaled by a loud unpleasant sound as it came to its final destination...the sensitive skin between my index and middle finger. The ember's glow made its presence known but its deceptively caustic composition made sure it was felt. As painful as the burn was, however, it was merely ground zero and like with any chemical attack, the immediate fallout would be devastating. I could handle the death of my skin cells, however painful it was but what I couldn't handle, apparently, was my phone. My cry of pain quickly turned into one of grief and looking back at that moment, I honestly couldn't tell you which scream was which. My beloved iPhone became a casualty of a war it did not sign up for but like the many other phones that have perished through no fault of their own, it too became a testament to the fact that at any given moment, nature - be it in the form of water (washer/toilet/pool/etc.) or in my case, earth, wind, AND fire (please no music) - is just one serendipitous stroke away from showing you just how unfair life is. Alas, even the darkest cloud has a silver lining and despite how much I hate the ending of that stupid movie with Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper, I'm blessed to say that my silver lining was more like a silver Prius around the dark cloud that was my cracked screen. Sure, said silver lining may have had an A&M sticker on the back but I learned a long time ago that you can't judge a book by its cover, especially if what you're judging doesn't know what a book is. In any case, I decided not to tow the vehicle and greeted the driver with a polite, yet firm handshake that says "I may be a Longhorn and you may be an Aggie but our differences are far outweighed by what we have in common...like for example, we both applied to Texas." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- All jokes aside, Sina was a very friend and professional service provider. From the moment we established contact via text, he was always prompt to respond and extremely accommodating to any and all circumstances that may arise. I say "any and all" because while my situation was not particularly burdensome, as a behavior analyst, it is my job to judge people based on what I see. Long story short, he showed up as soon as I was available (I had him meet me at my office) and he checked out my phone and replaced my screen all within 30 minutes (+added a bonus screen protector @ no cost). All in all, he was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend his services to anyone who will listen. read more

Great Phone repair service. Don't listen to them nay sayers! these guys really fix issues from the core of any problem and they know what they are talking about when it comes to electronics. There are some people who might have personal communication issues with them but that's not the responsibility of phone repair doctors to baby seat and cater to people with personal weakness issues. I do tons of work on my phone, so when I shattered my screen at 7:45pm I just knew I would have to wait until the next day to drive to a storefront to have it fixed. However, I came across Sina's 24 hour service and he fixed my iPhone 7+ with screen protector in less than 15 minutes. I decided to get my screen replaced by them, so I met the technicians and they fixed my phone in about 30 minutes. I contacted Cena after my Samsung Galaxy S7 fell face down on the hard tile floor. The front glass was not broken, but the screen image was glitchy and would not respond to touch anymore. He was quick to respond to my request for a quote and was easy to schedule an appointment with. Within a couple of hours, he arrived at my house and had the part replaced. This is the best way to get your phone fixed guaranteed. I've tried other places in Houston and you go to them, give them your phone (unlocked and they know your password) for an hour, and come back. Unfortunately while I understand their need for customers as a small neighborhood business and their struggles as a small community, that's profits come from consistent costumers. I unfortunately was not pleased to find most things in the store do not have price tags, and instead they will try to haggle a price with you. Asking "how much are you willing to pay?" While it does allow leniency if you're into bargaining, for someone who prefers honesty, it isn't an appreciated business practice I'd expect anywhere outside of a flea ,or night market. And despite the many cameras pointed at you and electronic locks on the front door of the shop that can be locked and unlocked from the safety of the counter, they won't let you hold most items in your own hands to examine them. The store often looks empty when it isn't due to heavily tinted windows and a locked door during business hours you have to knock on and stand five feet in front of to get into. It feels like I'm making a back alley deal with a shady scammer even though it's not the case. The people inside or more than respectful, just cautious which I can appreciate. But I don't want to haggle a price, listen to you make a fake phone call to check the price of something and offer me a bogus deal like a mall salesman to get me to buy your product, half of what they have can be found online for much cheaper than they'll try to sell it to you for. And when you refuse to buy they'll noticeably lower the price to something within your price range, but just short of all the cash in your wallet. Again, some might find this to be exciting, but I personally do not and like to pay a fair price set for every customer. The only reason I give this place the rating I have is because they've repaired something of mines that was broken. Good for repairs, but if I wanted electronics I'd find the cheaper deal on Amazon, same item but for 7$'s less guaranteed. It's heartbreaking because I really do resonate with the hustle and empathize with the struggles, but do not approve of their practices. Regardless I still do follow their socials, support all their posts and praise their efforts, but I will not be consistently buying often from the business unless changes are made. It's truly a matter of preference, and I don't mean to bash anyone, just giving my input for those who care and share the same values as I.
