I wish I could give this business a zero star rating. I encourage you to never do business with this company. My mother's TV (55' Sony LCD) was in need of a bulb replacement ($50) and a fan ($10) and she gave them a try do to the location of the company. My mother is in her mid 70's and is not technology savvy. I was out of town on business and she arranged an estimate visit with Hi-5 service center. A technician by the name of Zachary looked at the issue and informed her the repair would be $400 which she paid not knowing any better. The charge was ridiculously over priced for a $60.00-$80.00 repair. Zachary is very dishonest and took advantage of a senior citizen. I was vivid when I learned of the repair cost and explanation. I called Zachary to have him explain the cost and received a mumbled and stutter filled explanation that didn't make sense. On top of the over charge the TV stopped working a few days later..piss poor workmanship! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY...VERY DISHONEST! I have taken legal action against HI- 5 service center due to their poor service and dishonesty! read more

First of all, I wish I could give 0 stars. I called Zachary about repairing a TV. I explained the problem with my TV, and in turn he was rude to me. I was told that I wouldn't be able to get a quote for four days. I planned on having my TV working the next day so I told him I did not want to continue with his service. After telling him this, I received MULTIPLE calls from him harassing me about the TV repair. This went on for THREE days, constant calls throughout the day. I told him to stop calling me and yet I received another call from a different number and it was him. I had my TV fixed by a different service the day after I called. I told Zachary that I had gotten the TV repaired and I really didn't need anything else. He proceeded to ask me who fixed it, when they fixed it and how much it cost. I told him it was none of his business and to PLEASE stop calling me. I do NOT recommend this company to anyone simply based on the phone conversations I had with him. His service could have been amazing but due to the rude phone conversation, I was completely done dealing with them. read more

Rated an F. 12/22/17 Zachary charged $70 cash to pick up and diagnose a 55" LG TV. He called me 12/28/17 to inform me the problem is with the main board and provided price for parts and labor. I asked him to be specific and inform me what the test report results were. He has no report so I confronted him and asked if he uses a test bench with equipment to troubleshoot the problem. He said I checked for visual damage then I took a "guess". He then contacts a company called encompass parts who informed him that 99% of the time the board is the issue. Before I authorized him to pick up the TV, I asked him if he is a repairman and he informed me yes. I contacted encompass who does not provide technical support. I informed him to not make the repair and return the TV. He then informed me of a $20 cash delivery charge that he didn't inform me upfront. So with that said, Zachary is not a TV repairman. I perceive that he is running a scam to collect pickup and delivery fees as well a fee for an unnecessary repair since the diagnosis cannot be validated or verified through test records. My LCD TV would not power up. I called these guys at 7PM on a Friday and by 8:30PM Friday the TV was fully operational. This is the greatest store around and the ownership is fantastic.
