She is without a doubt the best optometrist who has ever examined me. She was very thorough in her examination, and she explained lots of interesting eye health and exam aspects to me. It felt so good to not be treated like a number like so many corporatized eye clinics treat their patients. I also failed to procure my referral (I assumed it was good to go), but Dr. Stella and the office manager were very patient with me, and allowed me time to reach out to my insurance carrier to resolve my oversight. I am very grateful for their generosity in allowing me to make things right. I look forward to seeing Dr. Stella for all of my eye health needs in the future. She's just a top notch, gracious, 5-star doctor, and she runs an incredibly tight and immaculate ship!

I appreciate having yearly exams and the office has some up-to-date instrumentation for viewing the retina and behind it. The staff is friendly and efficient. The doctors explain everything thoroughly. While the eyeglasses are not inexpensive, I have my serious work pair made here (a combination reading and computer lens) because I depend on them for detail reading work. I feel good about getting yearly exams to make sure my eyes stay healthy. If there were a problem, one gets referred to their opthamologist associates. As we get older, there are many potential eye problems so a yearly exam and being able to call someone if there is an emergency is important.

I then had to return to this optical office on three separate visits between July 27 - August 24 to have my eyeglasses adjusted because of improper fit. First return visit - eyeglasses were too loose. Second return visit - eyeglasses were too tight against my temple. Third return visit - eyeglass nose pads were so tight that blisters had formed under the nose pads on my nose. Each time the front office employee simply took my eyeglasses, went to a back room, came back, and handed them to me. I put the eyeglasses on and the employee asked, "How did they feel?" I answered, "Fine." However, the MyEyeDr employee (I dealt with three different employees on each return visit) never looked at the fit or made any adjustments once I had the eyeglasses on my face. After the third return visit, I had enough. I went to the Costco Optical Center (900 Center Blvd, Newark, DE.) Scott, who is an optometrist, immediately commented that my eyeglasses were not sitting on my face correctly. He took my eyeglasses, replaced the nose pads because I was "fitted" with incorrect nose pads at MyEyeDr. He made several adjustments to my eyeglasses and asked me questions about the fit and what I had been experiencing. When I related my experience at MyEyeDr (Middletown, DE), he grimaced, especially when he saw my nose blisters, and said, "On behalf of all optometrists everywhere, I apologize for what you experienced" something the front office employees at MyEyeDr never bothered to do. My advice, run, don't walk - away from MyEyeDr (Middletown, DE.) Save yourself time, pain, money, and aggravation. Go to a certified optometrist at Costco Optical Center and get correctly fitted for your eyeglasses!

Unfortunately, the injector I used to see here is no longer there. I naively thought the owner (Brandy) would be the next best person to see. She ended up charging me $200 more for the same amount of Botox, I thought maybe as the owner she charges more, only to find out much later that this was not the case. She's also constantly trying to upsell (very uncomfortable). I wasn't happy with the filler job she did. This was not my first rodeo, but it was my first time getting filler from her- Waste of over $1000. In my experience, the owner would have made a great used car salesman. Injections may not be her forte (ironically considering she owns a med spa), but hustling people sure is. Money aside, this is your face- with so many Med- Spas and talented injectors, be wise in who you choose to inject your face.
