    For the past few years I've been on the fence about upgrading my home theatre receiver. I went to a…read moreHigh End audio store on 202 (concord pike) and was initially told about the quality of a Marantz system. Fast forward to the last two weeks, I had the time to go to the Best Buy in Christiana to see if I could hear the Marantz Cinema 30 system. They didn't have one on display but the associate (Rocky) talked with me about 45 minutes helping me understand the pros and cons of upgrading the AVR or speakers I have. Walked out feeling I was ready to make a decision and this is where things got interesting. I spoke with Marantz (yeah, I'm that customer) and wanted to know more about a recertified Cinema 30 they had compared to one that Best Buy showed in their inventory. The only difference was the extra warranty option Best Buy has and the key fact that if something went wrong, Best Buy would protect your investment with the same value you purchased for. Marantz wanted me to buy from them direct and offered me a discount on any item (new or recertified). Out of respect for Rocky assisting me for over 45 mins I went back to Best Buy to see if by chance they could price match what Marantz offered. 9 times out of 10, no, but Rocky took my request up the chain of command and came back with a surprising Yes. This review is because this man spent 3 hours and 45 mins with me over two separate days, without knowing If I would buy the system. On top of that, they don't get commission. So for what I saved combined with the amount of time and professionalism he showed me, I am happy to say I'm now the owner of a Brand New Marantz Cinema 30 receiver.

The staff lacks diversity and is not very helpful to all customers. Some but not ALL. If you have ever encountered bias, then you can read between the lines and understand what I'm saying. The store has a very low rating for a reason. Hope this helps someone avoid the embarrassment that I experienced at this store.     Bought my 2nd appliance from this location in November of 2025, the refrigerator, Samsung, arrived…read morewith a damaged panel, the day of the delivery I informed National appliance of Middletown that there was a damaged panel I was calm and polite, was told the panel would be ordered and I would get a phone call in 6 to 8 weeks, it is March 12th of 2026 and I have had a 2nd phone call a week ago to National appliance to inquire about my panel was told somehow it was NEVER was ordered but I was assured THIS TIME it would get ordered and I would get a phone call to confirm the Samsung representative had be contacted and the part was ordered, however I have not heard a word from National appliance. My suggestion is Home Depot or Lowes across the street, prices are similar if not lower. I wanted to support a small appliance company, in this case my mistake!!!

So they left, and partially put the "new" dishwasher in the spot. 2 weeks later they come back, no one knows what is going on, and they "install" the dishwasher, and when I go to use it and there are dishes in it-it falls forward and slams into my counter- no one ever secured, it so now it bangs back and forth. I called left a message. No one calls for a week, after 2 calls. Then it starts leaking. They blame it on me, and say they can't do anything about it. They can send someone out a (third) time. I ask to talk to the manager multiple times and he is conveniently -every single time and can't ever call back. This won't be the only negative post I put up. I want everyone to know- NEVER buy from here
