The chicken sandwich was terrific but the rest of the experience was so so. It began with a number of stoner references in signs and menu items. Maybe that's the target audience but I'm not part of it. Then there was the cashier who was barely available and couldn't seem less interested in having a customer in front of her. I asked about a chicken sandwich and she replied with a bored "it's under sandwiches," referring to the menu. A stark interior reverberated loud music, making indoor conversation difficult. This is my favorite burger place in the Lou. Their toklahoma is my all time favorite with 2 sides of their andalouse sauce. I am obsessed with their Mac n cheese too. The workers here are always so friendly and I know my food will always be good solely because the focus and care they put into their food. Way too slow. Ordered on Door Dash for pick up. Arrived 15 minutes later to pick up and was told would be ready in 15 minutes so they hadn't even started on the order. Waited in the parking lot a while and another car was allowed to wait at the window so had to wait behind them then finally just went in to pick up order. Very few customers at the time too. The Yelp review on the front window gave me a giggle and the 420 vibe was fun too. It was our first time in and I asked the employee taking orders for recommendations and she did a stellar job making suggestions. I ordered the Cowboy Burger as a lettuce wrap. My son had the deep fried Nashville Hot Chicken and fries. While I can't agree with Scott A. that it worst restaurant ever. I would say that the food is the okay. The fries were basically Ore-Ida crinkle cuts. The onion rings that came on my burger were better and I would definitely order the onion rings as a side but they are not a menu item. The Cowboy Burger was not bad, but it was kind of dry and bland, nothing special. There was a tasty sauce in a bottle on the table, when a young man brought our food I asked what it was , he mumbled something and walked away. Great food and fun ambiance. The burgers and fries (with cheese) are the perfect combination.

Glad to have a location closer to home. With this being a newer location it's packed and can be a wait sometimes but it's always worth it! The staff is friendly and try to keep the place clean since every table gets used often throughout a rush. I recommend the root beer, taco burger, and the arch deluxe! Also the seasonal shakes, if you aren't too full from the burger. I will note I wish they had the 2nd special sauce that's at other locations, it's more of a mustard base I think? read more

The line is always out the door. I don't have a explanation about what off brand sodas are these. The burgers are not fully cooked. Two days in a row I went to this location. And my burger was frozen inside. The wait was extremely long. The employees are tired and over worked and are very unfriendly. I enjoy my burger well done. Visited Hi-Pointe for the first time today! Employees were very friendly, and the restaurant was very clean. Easy ordering process at the counter. I ordered the Arch D-Lux Burger, cheese fries, and a fountain drink. Everything was delicious, and the portion sizes are huge! I was given a number to place at my table, and my food was brought out to me about 10 minutes after ordering, even with it being quite busy while I was there! It's a fun, energetic atmosphere with loud music playing over the speakers. All in all, it was a great first experience, and I would recommend to anyone looking for some yummy diner food! read more

The parking lot was full and the line was out the door around 5pm on opening night. They have golf cart parking spots, but they were empty and golf carts were talking up regular spots when I arrived. The line moved pretty quick and we somehow managed to grab a table. Typical Hi-Pointe decor. The location specific totem is a Big Boy out front. The food came out fairly quick given the crowd (less time than spent in line) and was tasty. The staff had it together more than I would have expected on the first day. They've been practicing or they've got some loaners from other locations or both. As I was leaving, there was a golf cart in one of the golf car spots, but two others in regular spots, with an empty golf cart spot. There was a fair amount of turnover in the parking lot, so I suppose folks in carts could be arriving to find the golf cart spots full, only to have them open up after they've parked elsewhere and gone inside. Obviously somebody underestimated per capita golf cart ownership and use in Cottleville. Beware of leaving bad Yelp reviews, your review may be immortalized on the front window of a future location (as was one from a certain Scott A. at this location). read more

Well looks can be deceiving. The first time I entered the restaurant but didn't eat there thought the food looked amazing. We decided to give it a try. Was not happy with the food or the way it was served. We ordered a frisco burger which sounds amazing $10.50 with a side of Fries and a drink for an extra $4.50. And a ceasar salad $9. We asked the server about the size of the salad as it was an entree for $9. Her response with hand gestures was our bowls are big (Not). So ordered and waited along time for our food it being the only one cooked. There were only 2 other parties of people there and they were leaving. It took awhile. Got our food it was on the plate a mess. And the $9 salad was the size of a side salad. Had lettuce and some Parmesan and one random half of a grape tomato. I saw that salad which is suppose to be an entree was the size of a side salad. I was not happy. Especially when a bunch of the lettuce was wilted. We dug in hoping the burger was as delicious as I was anticipating what a disappointment. It looked a little underdone and had no seasoning. I will not go back, unless we have someone that wants to try it then I would give it another try. The drinks a soda machine. Liked that it was made with real sugar but the flavor of the soda not good tasted flat. The place was nice for a fast food restaurant liked the decor. Have to mention this the cook sneezed covered his mouth but it was towards the grill. Instinct told me should leave but we stayed and tried it.
